I ordered a latte and it was weak and barely warm, and my husband's Americano was also very weak. The ham and cheese croissant was delicious, but very small for the price, so it felt overpriced. The standout was the salmon toast -- it was absolutely perfect and by far the best thing we had. Overall, good atmosphere and one amazing dish, but the coffee and pricing could definitely use improvement.

I didn't realize how close this place was to me so I will definitely be visiting more frequently. Their set up is nice. There is a shared area where you can sit under the shade and there is a turf area where it looks like they have some things to keep children entertained for a bit so this place is also family friendly. The space is shared with another truck but I think they serve food. At Whole Latte Monkeys I was sad to see that the truck was not open on the inside, but from what I could see, the set up and decor inside the truck was very cute. I placed my order at the window, and got a Lavender iced Matcha latte with oat milk, a vanilla latte with oat milk and a Papito Chulo with oat milk. As I was ordering, I realized some of the names of the drinks are named after some of the monkeys they have shown on display in the truck which was a very cute touch. I wasn't able to read the stories of the monkeys, but I will certainly ask next time. The cashier/barista was very kind and patient while I decided what to order. I wasn't too crazy about the matcha, because I love a stronger, more astringent matcha, but the Papito Chulo was a hit and I would come back for that drink. Overall such a cute spot, great coffee and a hidden gem in this area. I'd definitely come back with friends and family to grab a drink, walk around the garden and relax.

I was on FaceTime with my wife as she was telling me how she found her drink to be too sweet and…read moresimply wanted a small cup of water to dilute it while still enjoying her coffee. She politely approached the truck and was told that they do not provide cups of water and that bottled water was available for purchase. When she explained she only wanted a little water to finish her drink, she was again told no and encouraged to buy a bottle instead. She politely declined and returned to her table where my kids were. As she was explaining the interaction to me and my son, an employee who had been cleaning a nearby table abruptly interrupted the conversation and said, "If you want free water, go to Starbucks." My wife was understandably surprised and said, "Excuse me?" The woman then made it very clear that she was the owner and proceeded to say things such as: "What coffee shop gives free water?" "Why do people always want everything for free?" "If you don't like our ways, you can leave and go to Starbucks." My wife calmly explained that she had not come there to argue, especially over a cup of water that had already been denied and was no longer a big deal. She also reminded the owner that we were paying customers and had not asked for anything for free. In fact, my wife had generously tipped before being treated this way. I told my wife to keep me on the phone and I seen the owner continuing to pace around my wife ranting about people wanting things for free. Another employee, who appeared to be her daughter, was heard telling her in Spanish, "Ma, ya, basta" ("Mom, enough"), but the owner continued. She then sarcastically offered my wife sink water now and remarked, "You can drink it at your own risk," but while continuing to tell her to leave and go somewhere else for free water. The entire interaction was bizarre, awkward, and honestly shocking. My wife and kids sat there completely puzzled and offended. I told my wife to leave and she did but not before telling the owner that they would gladly leave but that, as a business owner herself, she should work on her customer service before running her business into the ground over her mouth. What was most surprising was that other customers witnessed the exchange too. I heard over the phone while my wife was walking out a customer say "that's not right". My wife said the couple also got up and left too. Overall, between the overpriced coffee, lack of Wi-Fi that my wife said they told her they don't share with customers and most importantly the incredibly rude and unprofessional treatment by the owner herself, this is not a place we will be ever visiting again or recommending as locals. All that unprofessional treatment over my wife asking for a cup of water to dilute their overly sweet and overpriced drinks, what a joke.

We are blessed to have many options of Peruvian restaurants in south Florida that are great, but the hardest part is finding restaurants that have excellent dishes all around. For example, the restaurant may have good ceviche, but their mains aren't strong. They may have great mains, but their desserts just don't hit authentically. Olenka Peruvian Restaurant hits the nail on the head in every area! I was genuinely impressed how much range their menu carries plus, the flavor was not lacking in any round. My favs were their ceviche mixed with fried fish (spicy), their seafood risotto and their alfajores were to die for. Alfajores are minimal ingredients and the easiest to mess up. Round of applause! My husband and I decided this is our new spot!

The service I received was exceptionally poor. The sandwiches were, for the most part, average, with one exception, and the scones, one of the.sandwich clotted cream were satisfactory. The tea was acceptable. My visit was in February for high tea, and I left feeling disrespected and uncomfortable. Upon arrival, I approached lady Hostess A and requested an indoor table. She informed me that the indoor seating was full but suggested I could sit anywhere outside. I proceeded to seat myself. There was no queue or other patrons waiting at that time. Mr. Waiter J..later informed me about reported issues with bees in the outdoor area, which I understood. I reiterated my preference for indoor seating, explaining that Hostess A had indicated no availability inside, which led me to the outdoor area. After I placed my order, other patrons arrived. Hostess A escorted them to outdoor tables and provided them with menus. This pattern continued with subsequent arrivals. I observed that all the patrons she seated shared a similar skin tone to hers, unlike myself. Furthermore, after patrons departed from the indoor area, Hostess A personally re-entered the outdoor area to escort these new arrivals inside, despite their arrival significantly after mine. One patron, whom she seated indoors, later returned outside..The inside was full but many cluents left in groups freeibg uo various table indore..She appeared to have many options..options that i was not offrerd after i my wish was express that i wanted an inside table Lady A indicating that indoor seating had been available. I also overheard her inquiring about reservations, suggesting that these patrons did not have one. Another patron seated near me was also offered an indoor table. Throughout this experience, Mr. J observed my predicament with the bees and proactively intervened to improve the situation. I shared my observations with him, and he offered me an indoor table, which I declined at that point. His exemplary teamwork and service in addressing the disrespect and unfavorable treatment I experienced were didpleased . My waiter, Mr. J.. was ok.. When I shared my observations with him, he suggested that Hostess A might have forgot about me. I found this particularly noteworthy given that two patrons were seated within arm's length of me, requiring her to navigate around me. My table was also positioned beside the entrance, a high-traffic area for incoming guests. While I acknowledged the possibility of oversight, I also reflected on the unfortunate phenomenon where individuals of differing skin tones are sometimes marginalized as in my case. I sat outside and while the bees was competing with my food. Mr. Jeh...consistently refilled my tea and checked on me frequently. The waiter also checked on me and acknowledged the bee issue. Mr. Jel ....was professionalism, kindness, and efficiency in attempting to rectify the situation were commendable. I would rate the waiter's quality as 3 out of 10, while Mr. jEl....service merits a perfect 10. Regarding the restaurant as a whole, I am profoundly disappointed. Five months ago, a unique rock n' roll themed cafe The Bakers with a great back story, took over…read morethe All About Empanadas space and served pastry, coffee with a slim empanadas offering. Now, I noticed the All About Empanadas sign is affixed to the building and also imprinted on the front windows with a small "The Bakers" logo on the side. In my opinion, the interior lost its unique musical charm that set it aside from other cafes. The rock music banners, records and phonograph have vanished, although a new large wall mural exists with The Bakers logo. Confusion quickly set in and asked the cook what happened to the original concept. He advised that All About Empanadas will now be a collaboration with The Bakers. Came here today to spin a cool punk rock record of my choice but that no longer is an option, although still hungry. Ordered an Argentinian beef empanada from the new wall menu which now offers an extensive variety of empanadas. It was made fresh and was moist with full flavor.
