We visited Caffe Gourmet and thought the place itself was really cute and inviting. Unfortunately, the coffee was disappointing. I ordered a latte and it was weak and barely warm, and my husband's Americano was also very weak. The ham and cheese croissant was delicious, but very small for the price, so it felt overpriced. The standout was the salmon toast -- it was absolutely perfect and by far the best thing we had. Overall, good atmosphere and one amazing dish, but the coffee and pricing could definitely use improvement. read more

Sorry, but there were too many strikes here. First, they have an automatic service charge and STILL ask for tips. We didn't notice it and gave a tip. AND, they don't have table service, you have to order at a counter. There are no waitstaff. Second, I had to ask for my $7 lemonade only to find out they had forgotten to make it. Several other guests who ordered after me all got their drinks. Third, ambiance is cold and bland. There's a weird lighting mixture of disco balls and white lights. Strengths they can build on? The girl at the counter was nice and so was the young man who was helping. My lemonade tasted very average, nothing remarkable. It was fresh squeezed lemons and water. Why the high price? I don't know! I ordered their chicken gouda sandwich and it was just okay. The best part of it was the baguette. My daughter had their pepperoni pizza and it tasted like it was a frozen pizza. I left this restaurant fully disappointed and unsatisfied. Disappointed because I paid too much of my hard earned money here AND I accidentally tipped for no good reason at all. They would improve by removing needless fees OR stop tricking customers by asking for additional tips! read more

Visit #1 at this cafe. The front counter had a big food and drink menu with a hard cover book containing several of their foodie creations in full color for true realism prior to ordering. They offer small and large glasses of orange juice that is freshly squeezed in a juicer. Behind the front counter were beer taps offering Modelo, Stella Artois and the Venezuelan beer Polar in bottles. In addition, they have several wine taps. I ordered a macchiato which was freshly brewed for a few bucks. While sipping my drink, I had a conversation with the owner, Nancy, about her cafe and several of her specialty items. The gourmet Avacado or Prosciutto Flatbread looked excellent and will try one when I return. The bathroom was classic style with lime green/white decor and very clean. read more

First of all the coffee and good here is REALLY GOOD. And the people are ok. I've been there several times. But I absolutely refuse to pay hidden service charges and this place, without informing anyone, adds a service charge IN ADDITION to the normal charges and then has the nerve to ask for an additional tip... unfortunately gave to vote with my feet and won't go back there. We need , as consumers, to band together and reject this practice, which is becoming a thing. They've lost me until they change this. read more

This place is pretty good but not perfect. The positives are that it's a nice atmosphere and the food is good. The negatives is that the prices are a tad bit high for what you get. Also we ordered take out once and my wife ordered a gluten free arepa but they put it on a white bread bun instead. We only realized their mistake once we got home, but unfortunately we ordered for lunch during a busy work day so we didn't have time to bring it back and correct them on their mistake. We just had to throw it out. So it was a lot of time and money wasted. I think it was the language barrier through amongst their staff, where the person answering the phone for orders that day didn't speak fluent English and so they just didn't understand. We would still eat here again but we would just be extra careful when communicating with the employees and we would also open and check the order before we leave the restaurant, which is kind of annoying to have to do each time, but I suppose necessary. read more

Excellent little cafe for breakfast. I would love to come back and try some of their lunch items. They have a book of their plates so your eyes can order for you, yum! Highly recommend the Italian croissant. They have a variety of tea and coffee to choose from. The staff were very pleasant when taking our order at the counter and offering recommendations. This friendly little robot delivered our drinks and food to the table. If you live out west I would definitely recommend trying cafe gourmet! read more

This is a small gaffer with a great variety of food. I had the Nordic salmon arepa which was delicious. It was super filling. The place is nice and I loved the huge coffee maker they have as decor. The service was great and the owner came around to ask how our meal was. read more

My daughter and I came here on the way to the Fort Lauderdale airport from the West Coast. We stopped for lunch. It was absolutely beautiful. It reminded us of our time that we were in Sorrento Italy with the sandwiches. They're really great sandwiches. Caffe gourmet hosted our school's teacher's appreciation celebration. The ambiance of Caffe gourmet is that of a modern coffee shop with artistic statutes of coffee and drinks, which I found very nice. They have a variety of drinks and foods (such as sandwiches, appetizers, and finger foods) to choose from. For our event, we had a select menu of tequeños, prosciutto platter, coconut shrimp, cheese platter, and more. Everything was delicious and packed with flavor. Also we had an open bar so I tried their champagne and margarita, which were great. The service here is impeccable. Everyone was so nice, accommodating, and fun. They truly made our celebration one to remember. I will definitely come back to Caffe Gourmet to try more of their menu items. read more

This place is so clean, refreshing, and delicious. The service is phenomenal- we got the pleasure of meeting Natasha at the front on an early morning and learned this is a family business. Natasha does such a great job representing the hard work she and the rest of the family puts into this place. We ordered food and asked for a recommendation for coffee with almond milk. She certainly delivered- with no questions asked, I drove home for 4.5 hrs without a single yawn. They are focused on fresh ingredients and the food is certainly reflected with quality and taste. There's something truly special about this shop that made me feel sad I didn't live close during my multiple hour ride home. I give this business all the luck and success it deserves and will be making a stop in next time I'm in town. Wish I ordered more food to bring home. What a find! We were looking for a location to meet our kids who live on the east coast of florida and we live on the west coast. We needed a midpoint for brunch. We found Caffe Gourmet and we hit the jackpot. The place was packed but the staff made sure everyone was taken care of. The menu has a plethora of healthy choices, gluten-free alternatives, vegetarian dishes, and just great food. We each had something different. The lattes were terrific a great choice of organic teas, the turkey sandwich was delicious with melted cheese and a freshly baked baguette. The server brought over a special treat, on the house, as we waited for our food, it was their version of a mozzarella stick with a cilantro dip. The level of customer service far surpassed that of many higher end restaurants. This unassuming caffe in a strip mall with acting school, dance studio and other miscellaneous business was really a hit. We will be back. The staff was incredible! The restaurant is located in a shopping center near State Road 84 away from the Town Center. It was a perfect quiet place to eat and think about the day's ahead. We were at a volleyball tournament at a nearby school so we went here for lunch! It was very good. Loved their coffee (which was perfect). We also split a couple of things- Greek Salad- mixed greens, red onion, cherry tomatoes, kamalmata olives, feta cheese, oil oil and lime and a "Madwolf" - arepa (chia, oatmeal, corn gluten free) which had gouda cheese, bacon, organic egg, 99% fat free turkey and avocado. They were both delicious. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful as well. I was delighted that they were able to give me a refill on my coffee without an upcharge. The decor in the place is adorable with the Lavazza coffee container on the wall (great for pictures) and in the back they have a wall of photos. A small cafe hidden in plaza near the Publix. We were starving and decided to give them a try. We arrived and they were setting up for a private event however they told us to stay while they were setting up. The menu is very nice. So many delicious options and I loved their picture book menu. I ordered the Spanish tortilla with a latte and my daughter the pumpkin soup. Everything was delicious and the service was nice. They were a little busy setting up for their party but still managed to be attentive to us. The arepas looked delicious! I would definitely come back. read more

Yelp reviewers didn't steer us wrong with this one. A true "hidden" gem. Located obscurely in a strip mall, it's easy to miss. This is the perfect place to go after visiting the Everglades Holiday Park. Ate inside and watched Three Stooges on the big screen while we waited. I did want to try an arepa, but opted for the zucchini pasta instead with chicken. This was good but it was even better when the owner came by and asked if I'd like more Parmesan cheese :) Ordered a cheese flatbread for the kids - there isn't a kids menu but the cheese "pizza" was a hit. My husband got the fontina chicken sandwich which was delicious. The bread was so flaky fresh. Really wanted to try the pound cake for dessert but our quick light bite for brunch had turned into a huge lunch so we had to pass this time. We got delicious coffee as well - nice machine they have in there. There was $4 Prosecco I wanted to take advantage of so next time when we don't have the kids, we'll stick around and drink :) Owner was so appreciative and a sweetheart. cafe gourmet is ALWAYS a 10/10 for me i go here almost every day to do homework and eat breakfast!! for breakfast the gourmet breakfast with eggs prosuito avacado and two healthy mini arepas is amazing as well as the oatmeal banana pancakes!! for lunch the poke bowls with tuna are the best poke bowls in weston and the arepas with pollo mechado are my favorites. the service by augusto is always great he is so nice to everyone and cares a lot about your experience! the restaurant is modern and has a great look and feel to it perfect to do my homework as it isn't too loud. i love caffe gourmet and you will probably see me there sitting at the bar with an arepa at least 3 times a week! read more

This cute caffe has coffee and so much more. We stopped in on our way to Tampa for coffee and a quick bite and it was absolutely on point. For starters, they use lavazza coffee and it came with a delicious lotus cookie. We had some tequenos and 3 arepas. The arepas were delicious and perfectly cooked. The portions were sufficient and really good. The avocado was fresh and presentation was too. The restaurant is very clean, hand sanitizer at the entrance and staff was beyond friendly, very suggestive about what we should order and were always wearing mask. Must try ! read more

I can't say enough "good" about this place. The owner is an amazing person. His employees seemed so happy to be there. Place is small but so clean and it seems everything has a place. Incredibly good. We just about ordered everything in the menu and it was ALL so good. They were as good as the pictures looked We had smoothies, with our choice of milk and it was served in a big, fancy glass. My chicken sandwich with Gouda was amazing. Crunchy bread, perfectly grilled chicken...so good. As good as everything was, the service was even better. We had my elderly in-laws in tow and they came to the table to assist us and were very attentive making sure my in-laws were able to get everything they wanted and more. They even let my father in law, who's 100, shake them down for extra sauce. They gave him three. Super nice!!! We will be back!!! read more
