We ordered three things and shared and I loved everything equally. 1) I ordered the Smoked Salmon Cruffle (Croissant x Waffle) 2) Mango Tropical Toast 2) Truffle Omlet All three were out of this world. Not only was the food and the service delicious. So we're the drinks! Extremely Disappointing Brunch Experience Unfortunately, our brunch experience was extremely disappointing. While the presentation of the food was beautiful, the taste and overall experience did not match. The pancakes were mediocre at best, and the chicken and waffles were especially disappointing. The batter on the chicken was heavy and lacked flavor--honestly, we've had better fried chicken from KFC. What really turned a disappointing meal into a terrible experience, though, was the owner. He actually came to our table and told us he would not accept that we didn't like the dish because, according to him, "there was nothing wrong with it." Instead of listening to our concerns or allowing us to explain why we were unhappy, he became defensive and completely dismissed our experience. The service was also poor. Our waitress was training another employee, yet we felt overlooked and did not receive the level of attention you would expect during brunch. Everyone has different tastes, and we understand that not every dish will be for everyone. But telling a paying customer that they basically aren't allowed to dislike a dish is unacceptable. A good owner listens to feedback, even when they disagree with it. Beautiful presentation can't make up for mediocre food, poor service, and an owner who makes customers feel like their opinion doesn't matter. Sadly, we will not be returning. read more

I was in the area looking for a cafe to eat after my workout and I'm so glad to have found my new cafe in Broward. It is a Thai fusion cafe and I loved every bit of it. Staff was friendly and Charlie, the owners father, was going to each table making sure everything was good. So pleasant! I didn't want to order a basic breakfast so I decided to order one of the fusion omelettes. The holy chili bomb omelette tasted exactly what a Thai dish would taste. Loved the fish sauce on the side. I didn't mind my eggs a fluffy and watery but I know some people like their eggs a bit more firm. So their omelettes may not be your thing. Portions are huge so be prepared to have leftovers. Ube matcha was good as well. It's pretty much your typical ube matcha flavor. I was going to try their toffee banoffee but the server said it's super sweet. Cute place, but I was a bit disappointed with the food. The Thai drunken pasta dish was way too spicy for my taste, so I had to just ask for a box to take it home. As a replacement, I ordered the Thai mango toast, and this was very tasty. Fresh mango and coconut pulp are served on top of some sticky rice and the dish comes with 2 French toast slices and coconut cream to use as syrup. They do not skimp out on the smoked salmon or the truffle, perfect balance with the cream and the smoked salmon, and guess the price? $25!!! You can't beat the price just anywhere. It's so hard to find something that has the perfect balance but this was it for me! - New York steak and eggs 3/5, asked for medium rare but got medium but that's okay, they packed it with a lot of fruits and veggies on the plate. Stumbled upon this quaint little café it is decorated really cute and definitely alluring. this place is great for a woman's outing or a girls lunch. even a bridal shower or some kind of event it's just that cute. Possibly my 10th time here listen I really love this place. I took my bestfriend here for her bday brunch and everything was absolutely perfect. We got Thai tapas ( shrimp cake & spring rolls), the chicken & waffles and the drunken pasta. Everything was so delicious. I am so happy this place is here and I love to see that it is always busy! Anna's has quickly become my new neighborhood gem! I stopped by for Sunday brunch today, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Parking was easy, and I was greeted by the sweetest hostess the moment I walked in. The menu had so many delicious options that it was hard to decide what to order. We ended up ordering the Pasta Carbonara and the Mushroom Truffle Omelette. The omelette was served with crispy breakfast potatoes, toast, and a small side salad, making it the perfect brunch plate. The Pasta Carbonara was incredibly creamy, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully prepared. They also have a great selection of specialty drinks. While they don't serve alcohol, the food was so good that I honestly didn't miss it. Having heard good things about Anna's Café, I told my friend we had to go for lunch one Saturday. Today was the day. We were greeted warmly by a gentleman who I assume is the owner. He was charming and noticed the gift in my hand when I arrived, noting that it was my friend's birthday. We were seated promptly. Our waitress, Lauren, was attentive and very nice. (Actually, everyone who came by our table was friendly and smiling.) We each had a small salad, which was very tasty and had what seemed to be a very light peanut dressing. As neither of us likes breakfast much, we shared the Classic Thai Spring Rolls and Anna's Shrimp Cake - both were delicious. The spring rolls were crispy without being great and loaded with yum! The shrimp cakes each contained a very large shrimp and were better than we imagined. Everything was beautifully plated. After we ate, the owner came by with a slice of cheesecake topped with blueberries and a candle, and sang happy birthday to my friend. It was a thoughtful gesture and just cemented our impression that this place definitely has good vibes. So, go to Anna's! Brand new Italian - Thai fusion café in the Veranda Shoppes. The front patio definitely had a female's touch with an eye for detail. Elegant patio tables with shaded red canvas umbrellas creating an inviting space. Upon entry the black and white mosaic tile flooring caused a brief senory overload but quickly subsided with the large red brick coffee bar in the distance proudly displaying the Anna's name in LED white lighting against white wood. The hanging crystal wine glasses exhibited a strong Italian decor. The dining room was very spacious for a café with a sea of tables covered in white tablecloths and crystal glasses. There was a charming seating area with a red sofa and two red love seats next to the oversized newspaper article on the wall explaining the origins of Anna's Café surrounded by a collage of past customers. Not too sure where the Thai Fusion theme fits in - hmmm. Took a seat at the coffee bar and met with a few of the chatty baristas. The music was playing 1980's remakes of classic bands and loved it. Ordered an Italian Victoria Originale espresso classically presented in a small porcelain cup straddling a saucer with a stainless steel mixing spoon. The coffee had a smooth bold taste, welcoming scent and offered a quick jolt at a reasonable $3.00 price point. The kitchen was pushing out an array of eats that smelled spectacular. The gender assigned bathroom continued the elegant flow. Spotless with the mosaic flooring and red & white walls with floating wooden shelves full of green floral arrangements. The breakfast here was delicious, I can't wait to go back for more. The service was quick and we were provided witg some great recommendations. Not only was it delicious but the presentation was beautiful as well, along with the beautiful interior. I wanted everything on the menu but was in the mood for French toast. It was delicious, but I definitely need to try one of their more unique dishes next time. My husband loved his thai basil chicken omelette. And my little guy loved his cartoon character breakfast. Enjoyed a really nice lunch at Anna's café today with my daughter. They've only been open four days and it already feels like a great new addition to Plantation. The space has a beautiful and elegant feel. Staff was warm and friendly, and Brian, the owner, came over and spent a few minutes chatting with us at the table. We started with a delicious iced latte and matcha. Our dishes tasted as good as they looked. I had the Secret Garden Omelette with mushrooms, peppers, spinach, tomatoes, onions, avocado, and cheddar. It came with a lightly dressed mixed salad, fries, and a dipping sauce. My daughter had the Omega 3 Breakfast- two poached eggs with smoked salmon, avocado, mixed greens, capers, dill, cashews, and cherry tomatoes- and loved it. Brian then brought us out a slice of their signature Coffee Banoffee dessert. The caramel, bananas, coffee, whipped cream, and cookie crumbs... so delicious. I have been wanting to try this place since it's close to home. I was expecting an ordinary diner.....but there is nothing ordinary about Anna's Cafe! First of all; it's super cute and full of charm! There are white tablecloths, red velvet chairs, and cute decor all around. The menu has the usual American breakfast and brunch options; but with a Thai influence. (The original restaurant was in Thailand.) We had the most fabulous server, Lauren, and she helped us decide what to order. My mom had the Strawberry-Basil Spritz mocktail first. She said it was delicious! I ordered the Secret Garden Omelette. It was only $16, and full of peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach and cheese. ( I had the avocado put on the side.). It was really yummy and came with toast, and really cool tri-colored roasted potatoes which were also very good. My mom wanted to have the croffle,(croissant dough in a waffle iron,) so she got the Blueberry Cheesecake one. It looked fabulous, she loved it, plus she had a big portion to take home. (It's a nice touch that they box your food up for you, instead of just handing you a box.) We had a very nice little lunch at Anna's Cafe. A friend of a friend saw this place was open and said it looked interesting. As it turns out, it just soft opened a few weeks ago, and they're just getting started. On the day we visited, they were doing promotional photos. We got to meet the owner and his family which made the experience better. It was great to see a family run business and support them. And on to the meal. The place is really cute inside. Love the way it's setup. Cassie was our waitress and she was helpful and informative about their menu, the history of the restaurant (they essentially moved from further north) and was excited to tell us about the owner and the chef (who is Thai, which explains the menu). The daytime / brunch menu is extensive with so many choices. It was tough to decide. There are some meat options, some fish choices, and plenty of vegetarian options. We ordered some espressos and egg dishes. And they were absolutely outstanding. And well worth the price. The potato mix was really great. Sweet, white, purple all mixed up. Wow. We were impressed! My friend and I both agreed we need to come back. And Cassie also shared the dinner menu with us (they are going to be open for dinner Friday-Sunday). And it looked great too. read more

We were dying to explore something new near the house for brunch, so I consulted Yelp and picked Anna's cafe. We were surprised at first by the size and uniqueness, and happy to see outdoor seating too. The menu has a great selection of brunch and dinner dishes. I settled with the avocado toast and was surprised to see a delightful presentation and mixed fruits that included Lychees. My husband, overcome by nostalgia, went for the 90's omelette. Just look at the photo! We are definitely coming back to try some of the other dishes. Short story, they forgot the decaf coffee and the manager came to offer it on the house with heart. Excited to have Anna's Café in my neighborhood! I had a late lunch here today, first time trying this restaurant. Parking is a bit difficult in this plaza, shared with a Publix grocery and a few other restaurants. I noticed there is shaded outdoor seating available, but it's too hot outside right now for it. I love the atmosphere inside, it's cozy and beautifully decorated. I was greeted warmly and seated promptly. My Pad Krapow entree was so tasty and spicy, and quite a generous portion. I also tried the lavender cool lime mocktail. It wasn't my favorite, but they have many more drinks to choose from that I'd like to try. The tables are comfortable and roomy. Service was courteous but a bit disorganized today, as there was a lot of hustle and bustle with photographers and the mayor of Plantation here for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Tried it yesterday for the first time, I don't usually order hamburger and restaurants yesterday I was very glad that I did. It was literally the perfect burger cooked well rich flavor so good and the portion is great. I couldn't even finish half of it. Service was excellent, and most importantly the food did not take long to come. The restaurant itself was incredibly clean. I noticed that as soon as I walked in. Probably about 20 tables so it is not too large and everything is spaced apart very well, so it is a very comfortable environment. We were greeted right away, with incredibly friendly service and a huge selection of offerings. The food was amazing! The potatoes are light and airy and everything was incredibly fresh. Outdoor seating had a nice vibe with flowers, if they got a privacy screens it would make it more comfortable as you are facing the parked cars out front. Indoors on a Friday was a bit loud so we asked to sit outside. At first we were told that wouldn't be possible because they were understaffed but eventually they decided we could sit outside. The server was very friendly and checked in regularly. It is a family owned business and that was nice to see. The menu had a range of sweet and savory options. I tried the Dungeness crab Benedict. It comes with salad and friend potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The crab was a bit too fishy for my taste but that could just be me. The potatoes were crisp but not a lot of flavor. Someone else got the pacific omelette with shrimp and crab and loved it. I would go back and recommend it as they have some unique items. read more
