Enjoyed a really nice lunch at Anna's café today with my daughter. They've only been open four days and it already feels like a great new addition to Plantation. The space has a beautiful and elegant feel. Staff was warm and friendly, and Brian, the owner, came over and spent a few minutes chatting with us at the table. We started with a delicious iced latte and matcha. Our dishes tasted as good as they looked. I had the Secret Garden Omelette with mushrooms, peppers, spinach, tomatoes, onions, avocado, and cheddar. It came with a lightly dressed mixed salad, fries, and a dipping sauce. My daughter had the Omega 3 Breakfast- two poached eggs with smoked salmon, avocado, mixed greens, capers, dill, cashews, and cherry tomatoes- and loved it. Brian then brought us out a slice of their signature Coffee Banoffee dessert. The caramel, bananas, coffee, whipped cream, and cookie crumbs... so delicious. They're open for breakfast, brunch and dinner and serve a mix of American comfort and Asian fusion. Looking forward to going back to try out their dinner menu.

Amazing! Where to start.. We were immediately greeted by the owner, who thanked us for coming in, and spoke to us about the decor and the menu. The vibe is great and there is so much attention to detail - love it! I had the garden omelette, which came with a side salad, two huge pieces of toast, and fries - so fresh and delicious! Love that we have a local spot like this - looking forward to trying their dinner menu. Check it out!!

I finished my errands in the plaza and noticed that this new cafe had opened and thought let me give it a try . Wow, was I impressed. From the friendly greeting at the door, lovely decor and ambience and the great service and delicious food all was outstanding . I love that there is something like this now in the area. Great place just to grab a tea or coffee or a full meal . Relaxing and inviting . Can't wait to come back and share it with friends.

WOW! WOW! WOW!!! I am OBSESSED! Such an AMAZING creative menu! The food wasn't just a beautiful presentation but the flavor was divine!! I will most definitely be back (often) so I can make sure to try everything on the menu... and that was just the Breakfast and Lunch menu.... I have yet to see the dinner menu!! Everyone that works there was amazing and we were graced with the presence of the Original creator of Anna's Cafe that opened in Thailand!! Such a BEAUTIFUL family, Spread the word! You will not find anything else like this place.

This is a brand new hidden gem in the plantation area. The inside of the restaurant is decorated beautifully like stepping into a French bistro. My husband and I went for breakfast, he had a delicious omelette and I had eggs Benedict. Absolutely amazing. The chef came out, went from table the table to make sure that everything was good, very nice ambience. Our waiter, Kassie, was amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. I cannot wait to go back.

I'm local to plantation specifically to the area where this new Cafe is located as it's located only 3 min from my apartment. First I can say the atmosphere of this cafe is unique but everything about makes you feel like you are going to have a good time. It has a good diner vibe while still keeping the Thai influence. Service was excellent, had 3 different servers/hosts make sure we had everything we needed. Food did not take a crazy amount of time to come out. Which was great. Me and my wife ordered 1 lavender refresher 10/10 1 taro latte iced- while it tasted amazing and presentation was great after 3 sips i realized 70% of the mason jar was just ice ... so that was disappointing for the price. The burrito we ordered I could tell was done fresh, the size of it was pretty good though. I wish the crispy chicken was incorporated more throughout the burrito, and not just one side as I felt. It was easy to fall apart due to the distribution of the ingredients inside of the tortilla. The chips that came with the burrito were so good, they came very warm and had lots of flavor The mango sticky rice French toast wow it tasted good was underwhelming for the price, I was expecting much thicker bread and a better fusion of the mango and the coconut sauce, while in reality, it was almost as if I needed to blend all the ingredients to kind of get what I was expecting , the French toast in it of itself looked dry and underwhelming. Nothing special of the unripe mango bits either. I would have preferred bigger and riper pieces of mango. As well as as a more spongy and buttery piece of French toast. Overall, it was a good experience

First off the ambience is super cute- eclectic, vintage, cafe vibes. Started off with a basic cappuccino. I am not a matcha drinker but the serve highly suggested it. The food is American with Thai fusion, and you definitely can taste the culture within the flavor profile of the food. Compliments to the chef, there were bursts of flavor in every bite. If you like a good kick the Holy chili bomb basil omelette was soooo good! Highly suggest a croffle (we got the strawberry maple). William our server, gave wonderful suggestions and was kind and attentive! Breakfast was amazing and we will be back for more. They also serve dinner!

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!

I loved it, it was flavored really well and I enjoyed the american cheese, it went so good with the sandwich and the bread was great! Soft and fresh, I also loved the Mayo on the side as it enhances the creaminess of the cheese, I would 100% get this again I had the Onion Rings and you guessed it, also great, batter seasoned perfectly, hot & crispy, would recommend if you like onion rings I was able to try the pub fries again and they were as perfect as the first time and absolutely worth the up-charge any day! Speakeasy or Sportsbar?…read more This is a sports bar with a speakeasy theme. Came here with a couple friends we sat at the long red velvet couch that gave this place a retro 70's vibe. There were portraits of wooden rum barrels on the walls in the dimly lit front room. Happy Hour was from 4p - 7p and we took advantage of the Buy 1 get 1 Deal. The big burger smothered with sautéed onions was spectacular. The gender assigned bathroom was clean with gray porcelain tile floors and a granite counter top over a deep metal sink.

If it's your first time there it can be a little confusing on ordering but we figured it out and we were well taken care of. We were going to start with pretzel bites but we had a little snafu after a long talk about pickles and my pickle phone case so we ended up with the fried pickles. They were amazing and they weren't spears or slices they were bite size barely breaded (yay!) bites with a little bit of heat sauce. So good! They are obviously not made from frozen and are soooooo good! We then had the pretzel bites. It came with a thick cheese sauce that had a kick. My husband and I loved them too! I had a caprese hoagie (pressed) small. And my husband has a small North Fork small hoagie. It looked amazing and was HUGE for a small. We also had handcut fries. I love when restaurants serve fresh cut fries. They just taste different. So good. All in all, we loved it! There is something for everyone to eat and we are so happy we ended up here by default! Next time it will be on purpose.

I can confidently say they delivered on one of those things, the experience. Unfortunately, the food felt like a failed attempt to escape... an escape room. Let's start with what absolutely works. The location is stunning. Truly breathtaking. The views are spectacular, the atmosphere is elegant, and the setting makes you feel like you have unlocked a premium level of Fort Lauderdale nightlife. The service is upscale and unhurried. No one rushes you, no one pressures you, and you are encouraged to linger and enjoy the moment. From a vibe perspective, you are winning. The drink menu is limited, but what they offer is top notch. Well crafted, balanced, and enjoyable. Think of the drinks as the first puzzle you solve successfully. Confidence is high at this point. Then the food arrives, and this is where the escape attempt starts to fall apart. We began with the bruschetta, which was absolutely dominated by balsamic. Not gently accented. Not thoughtfully drizzled. This was a full-scale balsamic ambush that completely overwhelmed the dish. Puzzle one failed. Next came the octopus. Perfectly cooked. Tender. Juicy. Textbook execution. Unfortunately, the flavor was nowhere to be found. Every bite was completely hijacked by the beans in the dish, leaving the octopus feeling like a background prop in its own plate. Puzzle two failed, morale dropping. Then came the calamari and mussels. Once again, the seafood was cooked properly, but flavor had clearly escaped through a hidden exit. Bland, forgettable, and confusing in how something prepared this well could taste like so little. Puzzle three failed, clock ticking. The fourth dish was the caprese salad, which somehow managed to swing in the opposite direction of the bruschetta. The tomatoes tasted like they were fresh from a grocery store shelf. The balsamic barely showed up this time, as if it had used up all its energy earlier. The mozzarella sat there watery and bland, contributing nothing and offering no clues. Final puzzle failed. Escape attempt unsuccessful. By the end of the meal, I felt like I had just spent two hours in an escape room where everything looked incredible, the staff was friendly, the room design was flawless, but none of the puzzles worked and you never actually escaped. Overall, Escape Rooftop Bar delivers breathtaking views, excellent service, and strong drinks. But the food turns the entire experience into a beautifully designed trap. When expectations are sky high and the kitchen cannot deliver, the disappointment hits harder. Two stars, awarded for the scenery, the cocktails, and the hope that one day the food finds the exit.
