We stumbled upon Anna's Cafe and are so glad we did! It's a Thai-Asian brunch fusion spot with a large, creative menu, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The Holy Chili Bomb Basil Omelette had the perfect amount of spice and so much flavor. I love spicy food, and this definitely delivered without being overwhelming. The portion was huge, the potatoes were perfectly crunchy, and even the salad dressing was delicious. The Pacific Scramble was loaded with crab and shrimp and was very tasty. I also tried the pandan coconut latte, which was sweet but really good. The service was quick and attentive, and everyone checked in on us often--even while training a new employee. We would happily order all of these dishes again and will definitely be back. Such a great new local brunch spot with a relaxing atmosher
The restaurant is located in the old Pei Wei location in the Publix plaza on Pine Island Road just north of Broward Boulevard. We went for lunch after church on a Sunday. It was pretty crowded but we got a table quite quickly. It is moderately noisy with seats for about 60 or more. But tables are spaced decently apart. Service is fast and friendly. My husband and I shared a shrimp cakes appetizer. We liked it a lot. He had the Brioche French Toast (with Nutella, ice cream, whipped cream, fresh fruit, and bourbon maple syrup) and I had the Mango French Toast with sweet sticky rice, mango slices, coconut cream sauce, and whipped cream. We were both disappointed in the French toast because the bread was not soaked properly in the milk and egg batter. So, we ended up eating what tasted like regular toast with all the the accompaniments that came with each dish. My husband, who loves really sweet things, thought his had too many items that really didn't go well together. While I was disappointed in my French toast, I adored the sweet sticky rice and mango slices. And the coconut sauce made their version of French toast palatable. We both agreed we would add a half star if we could (to 3.5 stars), but the restaurant had not earned four stars. However, we saw a lot that we wanted to try on the menu and hope to return and hopefully be able to give the rating a boost. Lunch for 2 with 1 appetizer, 2 meals, 3% credit card surcharge, tax, and tip was $67.
I have now been to Anna's twice and I can't wait to go back again. The menu has something for every one and every food mood. On my first visit with my daughter I had the croissant with egg and ham. It came with this amazing garlic aioli and a fruit salad. The fruit salad wasn't the normal boring kind, it had lychee, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries. The sandwich was HUGE and delicious. The croissant was so tasty. My daughter had the smoked salmon fettuccine. She loved it. Both of our meals turned into 2 meals - and leftovers were just as good. I had a hot taro latte. It was delicious but I should have had it after my meal, as it was more dessert forward. The 2nd time we went, I went with my husband. He hates eggs and was excited to have nice breakfast options. He had the ham & cheese waffles. He loved it. I had the smoked salmon croffle. It was delicious. The smoked salmon portion was huge. This visit I opted for a regular latte. It was delicious and perfect. Why 4 stars. Sodas are served in glasses, but there are no refills because they actually come from a can. We had no idea until my husband asked for a refill. All in all, service was very good. The place is clean and they were busy both times we were there. Can't wait to go back to try more things from the menu.
Came here for the first time this morning after meaning to try it since it opened. Quite the large and unique menu--I don't think you'll see these items anywhere else in Plantation. The Thai tea was good, not too sweet, and came with a frozen Thai tea bear on top. We ordered the Dungeness crab Benedict and panang omelette. Benedict was good, there were tiny tiny bits of shell in the crab but that's par for the course in my experience with Dungeness crab. Flavor was good otherwise although I wish there was more hollandaise. The omelette was unique but didn't taste like panang, tasted more like beef and eggs however the omelette as maybe the best cooked omelette ever. Very fluffy and great texture. We ordered a banana cream croffle for the table which was good but hard to bad given that it's a croissant smothered with whipped cream, Nutella, bananas, and golden glitter. Overall, glad we gave this a try but it'll be a bit before we are back. Perhaps for lunch. Service was friendly and interior was a bit dark but intimate at least, definitely felt like a neighborhood cafe.
We had great service with Lauren on the Saturday afternoon we visited. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We had a Thai tea latte and a green Thai tea ice drink. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. The desserts are made in house and they were out of the chocolate cake. It gives me a reason to return.
My wife and I came in for a late brunch. This place was so good that I'm writing this review from the parking lot right after finishing my meal. I had high hopes as soon as I opened the menu and it did not disappoint. I will have to be back to try the many more items that caught my eye. I had the Thai mango paradise toast, a side of eggs, and an ube matcha latte. My wife had the New York blueberry cheesecake pancakes, a side of breakfast potatoes, and the toffee banoffee with a shot of espresso on top. Everything was delicious. I'm certain we'll be back many more times in the future.
Anna's Cafe easily became my favorite brunch spot! Bryan the owner was visiting every table. He was so kind!! The food was DELICIOUS! We ordered three things and shared and I loved everything equally. 1) I ordered the Smoked Salmon Cruffle (Croissant x Waffle) 2) Mango Tropical Toast 2) Truffle Omlet All three were out of this world. Not only was the food and the service delicious. So we're the drinks! We also ordered three things: 1) Ube Matcha - Scrumdilidiomptious 2) Thai Tea 3) Earl Grey Tea Each we're super good and the presentation was great too! I can't speak even more highly of this place the ambiance also speaks for itself. It's so cute and cozy on the inside I'm obsessed. This is my new favorite brunch spot!
I was in the area looking for a cafe to eat after my workout and I'm so glad to have found my new cafe in Broward. It is a Thai fusion cafe and I loved every bit of it. Staff was friendly and Charlie, the owners father, was going to each table making sure everything was good. So pleasant! I didn't want to order a basic breakfast so I decided to order one of the fusion omelettes. The holy chili bomb omelette tasted exactly what a Thai dish would taste. Loved the fish sauce on the side. I didn't mind my eggs a fluffy and watery but I know some people like their eggs a bit more firm. So their omelettes may not be your thing. Portions are huge so be prepared to have leftovers. Ube matcha was good as well. It's pretty much your typical ube matcha flavor. I was going to try their toffee banoffee but the server said it's super sweet. I don't do sweet coffee like that but apparently it's a favorite. Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes! They opened 3 months ago. Wishing them success!
Great place for brunch! The menu is very unique with a Thai twist and a full Asian menu as well. Ordering some egg options with Thai fusion was fun to try. Even though the place was packed the kitchen delivered food fairly quickly and the servers were attentive. I would recommend this place for a brunch with a twist.
Anna's Cafe @theannascafee Plantation, FL Finally got a chance to swing by and so happy I did! Such a cute spot with amazing options! Also, top tier service! Here's what I had: Ube Matcha made with Oat Milk The Pacific Omelette The best matcha I've had in a while! The boost I needed and the flavor was yum! The omelette was so fluffy and stuffed with deliciousness! I can't wait to visit again to explore more from their menu! Great place that just opened for breakfast & brunch. Made a reservation and was able to get seated right away! - drinks: Royal Thai tea with the cutest iced teddy bear 4/5, toffee banoffe - this taste just like a banana laffy taffy, it's not coffee btw so read the details lol we made the mistake thinking it was coffee haha.. - brunch & beyond specials - smoked salmon truffle fettuccine 10/10! They do not skimp out on the smoked salmon or the truffle, perfect balance with the cream and the smoked salmon, and guess the price? $25!!! You can't beat the price just anywhere. It's so hard to find something that has the perfect balance but this was it for me! - New York steak and eggs 3/5, asked for medium rare but got medium but that's okay, they packed it with a lot of fruits and veggies on the plate. This was $23. - smoked salmon avocado toast 4/5. It's a great portion, but there was a bit going on. - place is beautiful, staff is so friendly, plenty of parking spots. Place gives me a homey comforting vibe. I am interested to try their other coffee & matcha options as well as their breakfast options. A great recommendation would be to have a QR code on each of the tables to just pay & go because we had to wait for our check for awhile.
Possibly my 10th time here listen I really love this place. I took my bestfriend here for her bday brunch and everything was absolutely perfect. We got Thai tapas ( shrimp cake & spring rolls), the chicken & waffles and the drunken pasta. Everything was so delicious. I am so happy this place is here and I love to see that it is always busy! Such a great sign. They also upgraded the place! The interior design is phenomenal. I love seeing this place constantly build itself up.
Anna's has quickly become my new neighborhood gem! I stopped by for Sunday brunch today, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Parking was easy, and I was greeted by the sweetest hostess the moment I walked in. The menu had so many delicious options that it was hard to decide what to order. We ended up ordering the Pasta Carbonara and the Mushroom Truffle Omelette. The omelette was served with crispy breakfast potatoes, toast, and a small side salad, making it the perfect brunch plate. The Pasta Carbonara was incredibly creamy, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and was beautifully prepared. They also have a great selection of specialty drinks. While they don't serve alcohol, the food was so good that I honestly didn't miss it. I'm so happy to have found this place so close to home, and I can't wait to come back and work my way through more of the menu!

Having heard good things about Anna's Café, I told my friend we had to go for lunch one Saturday. Today was the day. We were greeted warmly by a gentleman who I assume is the owner. He was charming and noticed the gift in my hand when I arrived, noting that it was my friend's birthday. We were seated promptly. Our waitress, Lauren, was attentive and very nice. (Actually, everyone who came by our table was friendly and smiling.) We each had a small salad, which was very tasty and had what seemed to be a very light peanut dressing. As neither of us likes breakfast much, we shared the Classic Thai Spring Rolls and Anna's Shrimp Cake - both were delicious. The spring rolls were crispy without being great and loaded with yum! The shrimp cakes each contained a very large shrimp and were better than we imagined. Everything was beautifully plated. After we ate, the owner came by with a slice of cheesecake topped with blueberries and a candle, and sang happy birthday to my friend. It was a thoughtful gesture and just cemented our impression that this place definitely has good vibes. So, go to Anna's! You won't just be supporting a local business, but some very special people! read more
My wife we next door getting her nails done and saw this place, so she tried it and had to take me there. Good choice! The place looks like a French Cafe and the service was very good. As for what we had, my wife had, I think it was the smoked salmon truffle croffle. It looked really good and I know she really liked it. Now me I had the ham and cheddar savory walfals. It was definitely different but really good. The only negative thing I have to say is that they serve soda from cans. We will be back! read more
Thai and American fusions for breakfast and lunch. Great new cafe in Plantation. Adorable decor and wonderful service. Located in the plaza near Publix. Very interesting menu and we enjoyed it all. Tasty and beautiful presentation. Large portion The manager was very friendly and explained the origin and history of the place. Worth trying and we will return. read more
Brand new Italian - Thai fusion café in the Veranda Shoppes. The front patio definitely had a female's touch with an eye for detail. Elegant patio tables with shaded red canvas umbrellas creating an inviting space. Upon entry the black and white mosaic tile flooring caused a brief senory overload but quickly subsided with the large red brick coffee bar in the distance proudly displaying the Anna's name in LED white lighting against white wood. The hanging crystal wine glasses exhibited a strong Italian decor. The dining room was very spacious for a café with a sea of tables covered in white tablecloths and crystal glasses. There was a charming seating area with a red sofa and two red love seats next to the oversized newspaper article on the wall explaining the origins of Anna's Café surrounded by a collage of past customers. Not too sure where the Thai Fusion theme fits in - hmmm. Took a seat at the coffee bar and met with a few of the chatty baristas. The music was playing 1980's remakes of classic bands and loved it. Ordered an Italian Victoria Originale espresso classically presented in a small porcelain cup straddling a saucer with a stainless steel mixing spoon. The coffee had a smooth bold taste, welcoming scent and offered a quick jolt at a reasonable $3.00 price point. The kitchen was pushing out an array of eats that smelled spectacular. The gender assigned bathroom continued the elegant flow. Spotless with the mosaic flooring and red & white walls with floating wooden shelves full of green floral arrangements. The urinal was out of service. Great experience and this may be the new location for my Coffee Club. read more

Cute place, but I was a bit disappointed with the food. The Thai drunken pasta dish was way too spicy for my taste, so I had to just ask for a box to take it home. As a replacement, I ordered the Thai mango toast, and this was very tasty. Fresh mango and coconut pulp are served on top of some sticky rice and the dish comes with 2 French toast slices and coconut cream to use as syrup. The place was very full, so service was kind of slow, but still reasonable. read more

The breakfast here was delicious, I can't wait to go back for more. The service was quick and we were provided witg some great recommendations. Not only was it delicious but the presentation was beautiful as well, along with the beautiful interior. I wanted everything on the menu but was in the mood for French toast. It was delicious, but I definitely need to try one of their more unique dishes next time. My husband loved his thai basil chicken omelette. And my little guy loved his cartoon character breakfast. The matcha was what came highly recommended and the quality of it was much better than others. We can't wait to get back to try other things, the whole menu sounds fabulous. read more

The service was excellent, very calm and not rushed. The food is delicious, not your traditional American breakfast, even the breakfast potatoes are unique in they are a mix of regular potato, sweet potato and a purple potato!! I will be back to try something new. Now let's talk coffee because for us this was the star of the show!! Hubby had the banofee with a shot of espresso, amazing!! I had the brown auger espresso and I'll just Starbucks who?? Both were iced but I bet they would be just as awesome HOT!! read more

I have been wanting to try this place since it's close to home. I was expecting an ordinary diner.....but there is nothing ordinary about Anna's Cafe! First of all; it's super cute and full of charm! There are white tablecloths, red velvet chairs, and cute decor all around. The menu has the usual American breakfast and brunch options; but with a Thai influence. (The original restaurant was in Thailand.) We had the most fabulous server, Lauren, and she helped us decide what to order. My mom had the Strawberry-Basil Spritz mocktail first. She said it was delicious! I ordered the Secret Garden Omelette. It was only $16, and full of peppers, onions, mushrooms, spinach and cheese. ( I had the avocado put on the side.). It was really yummy and came with toast, and really cool tri-colored roasted potatoes which were also very good. My mom wanted to have the croffle,(croissant dough in a waffle iron,) so she got the Blueberry Cheesecake one. It looked fabulous, she loved it, plus she had a big portion to take home. (It's a nice touch that they box your food up for you, instead of just handing you a box.) We had a very nice little lunch at Anna's Cafe. It's super cute with good food and good service; so we'll definitely be back! read more
Enjoyed a really nice lunch at Anna's café today with my daughter. They've only been open four days and it already feels like a great new addition to Plantation. The space has a beautiful and elegant feel. Staff was warm and friendly, and Brian, the owner, came over and spent a few minutes chatting with us at the table. We started with a delicious iced latte and matcha. Our dishes tasted as good as they looked. I had the Secret Garden Omelette with mushrooms, peppers, spinach, tomatoes, onions, avocado, and cheddar. It came with a lightly dressed mixed salad, fries, and a dipping sauce. My daughter had the Omega 3 Breakfast- two poached eggs with smoked salmon, avocado, mixed greens, capers, dill, cashews, and cherry tomatoes- and loved it. Brian then brought us out a slice of their signature Coffee Banoffee dessert. The caramel, bananas, coffee, whipped cream, and cookie crumbs... so delicious. They're open for breakfast, brunch and dinner and serve a mix of American comfort and Asian fusion. Looking forward to going back to try out their dinner menu. read more
Food - brunch items, Holy Chili Basil Omelette $16 - wood not order again. Weak in flavor and size. Side of 7 roasted diced potatoes. Sad. Maybe 3 leaves of lettuce. Secret Garden Omelette looked a little better. Basically the same thing with flowery decoration on top. Sweet Paris Pancakes looked and tasted good. Once again, small servings, if you eat well, going to have to order sides to be satisfied. Probably ONE and DONE. Service was fair. Had to ask for everything that they should be on top of. Ambiance is very nice and relaxed. Don't mind paying, if the price matches the serving size and taste. read more
A friend of a friend saw this place was open and said it looked interesting. As it turns out, it just soft opened a few weeks ago, and they're just getting started. On the day we visited, they were doing promotional photos. We got to meet the owner and his family which made the experience better. It was great to see a family run business and support them. And on to the meal. The place is really cute inside. Love the way it's setup. Cassie was our waitress and she was helpful and informative about their menu, the history of the restaurant (they essentially moved from further north) and was excited to tell us about the owner and the chef (who is Thai, which explains the menu). The daytime / brunch menu is extensive with so many choices. It was tough to decide. There are some meat options, some fish choices, and plenty of vegetarian options. We ordered some espressos and egg dishes. And they were absolutely outstanding. And well worth the price. The potato mix was really great. Sweet, white, purple all mixed up. Wow. We were impressed! My friend and I both agreed we need to come back. And Cassie also shared the dinner menu with us (they are going to be open for dinner Friday-Sunday). And it looked great too. read more
Excited to have Anna's Café in my neighborhood! I had a late lunch here today, first time trying this restaurant. Parking is a bit difficult in this plaza, shared with a Publix grocery and a few other restaurants. I noticed there is shaded outdoor seating available, but it's too hot outside right now for it. I love the atmosphere inside, it's cozy and beautifully decorated. I was greeted warmly and seated promptly. My Pad Krapow entree was so tasty and spicy, and quite a generous portion. I also tried the lavender cool lime mocktail. It wasn't my favorite, but they have many more drinks to choose from that I'd like to try. The tables are comfortable and roomy. Service was courteous but a bit disorganized today, as there was a lot of hustle and bustle with photographers and the mayor of Plantation here for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Overall I'd like to come back again and try the breakfast and their coffee drinks! read more

This is my first time here; to me, the restaurant decor looks old and dark. I know the owner tries to create an English setting; it could be more elegant to match their food presentation!! The food is not only beautiful; it's wonderful, cooked with the finest vegetables and served very well. Our server, Kevin, is very nice. We will come again; the big menu has so much to try. Love it. read more

My friend has been raving about this place for months, since they opened and devised to take me for my birthday. We could not decide on just one thing so we ordered a variety of items. The waitress helped us select the best items and they were a hit! This is a good place to revisit for a casual meet-up with friends and try all the items. I can't wait to come back and try the various delicious menu items. read more
We were dying to explore something new near the house for brunch, so I consulted Yelp and picked Anna's cafe. We were surprised at first by the size and uniqueness, and happy to see outdoor seating too. The menu has a great selection of brunch and dinner dishes. I settled with the avocado toast and was surprised to see a delightful presentation and mixed fruits that included Lychees. My husband, overcome by nostalgia, went for the 90's omelette. Just look at the photo! We are definitely coming back to try some of the other dishes. Short story, they forgot the decaf coffee and the manager came to offer it on the house with heart. This is service that is more and more rare. Well done Anna's cafe team! read more

Update review, the food quality went up and everything was great no issues. It's a shame they still dont have brown sugar but that's not a big deal. read more

Wow! I want to come back and try some other things! We were looking for a brunch/lunch place near my husbands work and came across this cafe. Delicious, unique food with Thai influence. We had some delicious Thai sausages, and then a smoked salmon toast. The food is fresh, and beautifully prepared. We were taken aback when we first walked in because we saw white linens table cloths! The whole place is very cute and feels more elevated than your standard cafe. Service was also great- very attentive! Thanks Anna's! read more

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Charlie who was friendly , kind and warm Jenny the waitress was an attentive and sweet server . She made great suggestions . I had a strawberry croffle which is a croissant cooked in a waffle maker . My friend had a delicious garden omelette. The vibe was incredible and since it was a long time since I saw my friend they were totally cool with us sitting at the table for a long time ! Charlie then introduced me to his daughter the chef, so sweet and adorable !Can't wait to go back! This is a welcome addition to plantation read more

We celebrated my birthday brunch at Anna's Cafe in Plantation, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Everyone in our group loved their food, and the service was exceptional--friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. I ordered the mushroom truffle omelette with mixed greens, sourdough toast, and an iced matcha latte. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The food came out with perfect timing, and the portions were generous. If you're looking for a great spot for brunch with delicious food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere, I highly recommend Anna's Cafe. We'll definitely be back! read more

Kids rice and salmon bowl- the salmon was overly dry, didn't taste fresh, the rice was missing flavor. Spring rolls - hard and tasteless. Carbonara pasta - small amount of pasta, was ok, tasted just like creamy bacon. Mushroom soup - tasted ok but texture was like curdle milk so very unappealing. The chicken and waffle was the only thing that had a beautiful presentation and we liked. read more
