We are blessed to have many options of Peruvian restaurants in south Florida that are great, but the hardest part is finding restaurants that have excellent dishes all around. For example, the restaurant may have good ceviche, but their mains aren't strong. They may have great mains, but their desserts just don't hit authentically. Olenka Peruvian Restaurant hits the nail on the head in every area! I was genuinely impressed how much range their menu carries plus, the flavor was not lacking in any round. My favs were their ceviche mixed with fried fish (spicy), their seafood risotto and their alfajores were to die for. Alfajores are minimal ingredients and the easiest to mess up. Round of applause! What a great spot to eat! It's beautiful and offers inside and outside dining. Service was great from start to finish. We came around lunch time and it was fairly busy. Our server was great with recommendations also allowing me to try different drinks. I ended up ordering the tropical drink. We also ordered the conchas la parmesaana for our appetizer. They were good. My husband also had the vegetable soup and he liked it. For our entrees which we had to go due to another engagement but no fault on the restaurant we had pasta huancaina and lomo saltado and my husband had the same with chicken milanesa. I was looking for a Peruvian coffee shop who procures coffee from multiple local sources across the South America, and this was a place that came up in my recommendation I was extremely impressed by the amount of selection that they had from different parts of South American regions and they procure from local farmers as well. They had a great selection of snacks that we could order from their empanadas were shaped differently, but tasted delicious. I also tried their pistachio croissant and the filling inside the croissant was out of the world. We ordered cappuccino and Cortada in which Cortado was not very warm. The instantly made another one for me. That's an amazing service for me and I really appreciated that. I love their ambience. It was a small and cozy place. They had couch seating as well as tables spread across. If you are around this Neighbourhood I strongly recommend going to this place. Been wanting to visit this place for about two weeks and today decided to go with my wife. Parking is a bit tight because even though they're located in a plaza the plaza is packed. We went in on Friday around 4 pm. No wait. Our server was Ignacio. Super friendly and welcoming. Only opportunity is that he brought me a Coke without a glass. Not an issue for me, but other people might consider this bad professionally. I am diving into my new favorite Peruvian restaurant . Located in Westin, this is my new go to spot prior to going to a panthers game. There menu is spectacular. All the appetizers were so good, it's hard to pick a favorite, but I am pretty obsess with their empanadas, as they top them with sugar, and their Pulpo Parilla. Their take on a traditional causa is a must try. I like that its fried, so its crispy on the outside. Perfection. Obviously, we have to try the tiraditos and the ceviche! Now, my go to is the Chupe de Camarones, and this one definitely hit the mark! I highly recommend it. All of their entrees were packed with flavor and give you the traditional Peruvian vibe. We were greeted by a friendly server who sat my buddy and I. She provided us beautiful pink menus and explained the coffee options. We sat inside overlooking the outside patio and water. It's impressive the amount of folks here right now on a Thursday at 11:30 a.m. I had a sudden urge for brunch but didn't want to cook! Since they're in our neighborhood, I thought it would be just the right little getaway from a work project! I started with a chicken empanada which they served with a lime wedge. It was absolutely perfect! Then, they brought over my cappuccino and a chicken causa in lieu of a tamal which by this time, they were already out of. This is a beautiful Latin cafe in Weston FL. The little tables are line the wall and they offer a nice rear outside patio area which I only recommend in the winter months due to humidity concerns. Friendly staff and I love the free conchitas on the tables to have with your coffee. read more

What a disaster of a night. I didn't let my anger overcome me because I didn't want to ruin the evening with my family. Came here for Valentine's Day and hardly anyone was there when we arrived. Ordered white and red sangria and got 2 white. Ordered 2 appetizers and then ordered dinner. Dinner comes out and we said we never received the appetizers. The server said oh, let me check and he took the dinners back. Comes back and takes the appetizer order again, then brings them out, then brings the dinner and it was the wrong dinner for me, they remade it finally to the correct entree. Peru wins the Empanada Game I'm still thinking about that empanada... I've never really heard anything about Peruvian empanadas prior to Olenka and now I can't stop thinking about them. We were asked if we wanted powder sugar on it, as that is how it's traditionally served in Peru, so we obviously got one with powder and the other one without so we can conduct our experiment. The creamy chicken was enveloped by the beautiful crust. It was light. It was flavorful. It was masterful. Picking a favorite dish is close to impossible. They were all good in their own ways. The anticucho was served with yummy cheese curds. The huancaina sauce was addicting and I may have growled anytime someone tried to remove the empty plate. I had always wanted to try the Peruvian pesto pasta and this one exceeded any expectation I could have had. There was so much fresh fish in the ceviche, I felt so satisfied. The crunchy wonton strips turned a classic to something fun. Last but not least... the pan con chicharrón. That bread was fresh. The sandwich was stuffed with sweet potatoes, flavorful chicharrón and pickled onions. Wow. Today I was eating lunch at Lucille's next door and I began craving a cup of coffee and maybe a sweet treat so I headed next door after I finished. The interior is gorgeous but a bit narrow and I like to eat out back where you can enjoy the lovely weather and a view of the water and the birds, turtles, and fish. Today there was an endangered wood stork walking on their patio. I ordered their cappuccino and one of their chocolate cakes with dulce de leche. It was so rich that I ended up taking some home to enjoy later. The coffee was perfection with a stiff layer of creamy foam. The first time I heard and went here was because of an yelp event and since than I have come here a couple times because I love it so much. It is a little place that if you blink, you will miss it but you should... no, need to turn around and go back to it because of how good the food here is. The prices are great as well and the staff is super friendly making sure your visit and order go off without a hitch to make sure you come back again and again. Each time that I have gone here I get the Pan Con Chicharron and the price of it is roughly eleven dollars after tax. The sandwich is massive and an insane steal for that price! It has fried pork, sweet potatoes, onions (that you can get on the side if you want) and a little bit cilantro inside. It has a good amount of pork meat inside and will keep you full and ready for a food coma for a nice amount of time after eating it. I also had one of their Oreo cups and while it was very good and just the right amount of sweet, at six dollars for it I do not know if I would get it again unless I was craving it badly. everyone needs to check this place out at least once! read more

Finally came here after my friend has been telling me to come for the longest time and now I am internally beating myself up for not coming sooner! Everything we ordered was just *CHEF'S KISS*! Came here with a girlfriend for her belated birthday lunch but boy did this experience feel like a treat for me too! Now onto the food, she ordered the classic trio sandwich (avocado, tomato, egg salad) and it reminded me of those crustless sandwiches you'd enjoy in a beautiful picnic at a breezy meadow or park. I had the pan con chicharron which was to-die-for -- it had sweet potato waffle fries inside, thick chunks of tender pork, and a good amount of onions dressed in some lemon juice perhaps to just cut into the fat so it didn't feel greasy at all. It was such a huge sandwich that I didn't finish!! Perhaps it's also because my friend and I shared a spinach and cheese croissant (another good rec she shared) and that was so buttery, flaky, and super tasty! We also split an apple pie strudel which I kind of wished I had one to myself because it was just so yummy and not horrifically sweet like most baked goods/danishes. But then I'm also glad we shared because I got us the chocolucama cake to try so she can try lucuma. AMAZING DESSERT. OH MY GOSH. Funny, the guy from the cashier brought us the food and I had thought he forgot the cheesecake. But after we finished eating, he came out with the cake and pleasantly said "I hope you guys have room for dessert!" Super friendly AND very attentive. I've provided a good tip at the front (you pay after you order) but dang I wished I had cash to tip him more for being on top of it! I ordered items to go, and brought home chicken and ham and cheese empanadas, along with their cuatro leches cake. Everything was delicious, but I think my favorite item was the chicken empanada. The staff here was helpful and friendly and did a great job packing up my order. I asked some questions about allergens (particularly about the safety of the chocolate desserts for nut allergies) and I don't think they really understood what I meant.... But I did like that all of the desserts were individually wrapped up and not all touching on the trays. They informed us that the dessert items are made off-site, but the savory items are prepped in-store. Found out about this place do the yelp elite event that's going on for October Hispanic heritage month. This cute hidden bakery is located in Weston, FL right off of Royal Palm Boulevard exit. The menu has some touches of Peruvian style foods. Very cute and bright Decour located inside very pink love the vibe in here. coffee is a bit better because they don't add sugar so you have to add your own desserts are mouthwatering and sandwich was filling I only ate 1/2 of the sandwich and was pretty full. This places has changed its settings and operations I guess in its entirety... A year ago when we came here. It was nice and cozy. You can just order and sit down. None will bother you. But now they have changed this place to a "please waited to be seated" place....none greet you when you walk in. the guy who works up front just star at you and said nothing.
