TL;DR: got harassed by the staff for an item they might have mistakenly brought to our table…read more I just had a bad experience at Bonjour. My wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and I went there for breakfast. Because our daughter won't stay seated, my wife and I usually take turns eating. I hung out with our daughter while my wife ordered and ate. Then, we switched. A quiche was brought to the table. I wasn't expecting it, so I asked the waitress to confirm it was for our table. She said, "Yes, it is." I assumed my wife had ordered it, so I ate it. I was about to leave when a manager came over to ask if I had ordered the item, to which I answered, "I don't know." She asked for the receipt, which I didn't have. At this point, three staff members were standing around questioning me about this quiche. One of them brought out a receipt with "154" written on it; our table was 54. They were speaking Spanish among themselves, so I wasn't sure what was happening, but they eventually walked away. I thought the matter was settled. I went outside, and my wife went back inside to wash her hands. The manager approached her to ask if she had ordered the quiche and requested the receipt, explaining that I had probably eaten an item I didn't pay for. My wife hadn't kept the receipt, so we couldn't confirm or deny it. Maybe the person at the counter added it to our order by mistake. Maybe the waitress brought it by mistake and confirmed it was ours by mistake. But ultimately, we didn't make the mistake. Don't harass customers over your own errors. It isn't worth it for a quiche.

Everything is decorated beautifully. I'd say the prices are expensive. But unfortunately, with all the choices and not a lot of people coming, they lack in quality. I'll explain. Framboise cake. It was good. Not too sweet. I could definitely have had eaten another slice Chocofinger taste VERY rich. It was good don't get me wrong. But it was so sweet. I couldn't eat more than two bites. I don't think this one is ordered much because it had a freezer burn or being in The fridge for too long taste to it. Apple pie very different from American Apple pie. The sauce was dry-which is fine so it won't be soggy but it wasn't very good. And made it lack in flavor. I wouldnt get this again. Especially since it was close to $6 Lava cake I don't know if I warmed it up properly, but it wasn't really lava. It was nice and moist inside. This was definitely my favorite thing we tried. And the only thing I would eat again. But it also had the freezer burn flavor to it. Canele my first time trying this one. It was okay. I liked the flavor but it wasn't anything I would get again. Ojo de Tigre it was stale. And didn't have flavor. I wouldnt get this again either. Traditional baguette it was already a little hard by the time I got it. I don't think they are busy enough to be making them fresh throughout the day. But for $3 it was okay. Overall it was a flop for their bakery side. Their cakes are okay. I may try some more. Maybe they are known for their hot food.

I got the hazelnut and chocolate desserts to go, and they were rich, decadent, and unbelievably flavorful. It was pure happiness in my mouth! Is it pricey? Yup. Is it worth it? **Absolutely!** You can appreciate the craftsmanship and artistry that go into creating these beautiful desserts. They're truly little works of art. The only drawback? The staff could have been a bit friendlier. But the desserts themselves? Absolutely phenomenal!

I called ahead and spoke to the Bill, who is one the married owners, (his wife is the chef/pastry…read moreartisan) who explained that they serve their whole food menu until 3 PM and after that, until closing time, they serve their quiche slices with a side salad, a few sandwiches, excellent coffee and tea beverages and what's left of their savory and sweet French pastries. He held their last napoleon for me, as I planned on coming late, and was very happy to be able to get some quality quiche and French pastries until 10 PM on a Saturday night! Irena, from Ukraine, was very nice and helpful at the counter when I arrived and served me at a table.. I had a delicious iced matcha latte that I sweetened with their packets of natural stevia that are mixed with a little sugar. And the asparagus and Brie quiche was so perfectly balanced and delicious with a great buttery made-from-scratch crust that I quickly ate it all along with the small side salad that comes with a simple olive oil and lemon dressing. Because it was so good, and I hadn't eaten all day and night, I also ordered a piece of their other type of quiche that has mushrooms, spinach and goat cheese in it, heated up, but to go, since they were closing soon. It is also very good, but I definitely prefer the asparagus Brie quiche. I got a napoleon and pavlova slice to go. I was a bit disappointed with their napoleon and don't think I would order it again; I didn't like the pastry layers (that were not crispy and cold by their closing time); nor did I really care for the pastry creme filling that much. But their incredible pavlova desert with crunchy, yet airy and fluffy meringue, whipped cream, strawberries, raspberries and toasted almond slices is a blissful, must-have dessert!

When I mentioned we were celebrating our daughter's 19th birthday, he surprised her with a cake, lit the candle, and even took our photo -- such a sweet and memorable touch. The ambience was lovely: good music, great energy, and a welcoming atmosphere. Their dessert selection is fantastic, and everything looked just as good as it tasted. He also shared that his cousin owns a bakery in Chile and that this is their first location in the U.S., which made the visit even more meaningful. Thank you, Alpen Bakery. May God bless your business. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I finally ordered a couple of pastries that my husband and I shared and both of them were excellent! The first one was a strawberry pavlova which had a meringue crust, a layer of dulce de leche on top of that and finished off with fresh whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Surprisingly, it wasn't too sweet at all. The other one was a fresh fruit tart with a light, buttery crust with custard and fresh fruit. This one had pineapple,, peaches and strawberries in top. It was delicious and again not too sweet. They serve breakfast and lunch here as well and various kinds of coffee drinks. I will definitely have to come in for lunch soon. Place is very clean, prices very reasonable.
