Today The Baked Bear was giving away a free scoop of ice cream in honor of Customer Appreciation Day. The long line was initially daunting but moved very quickly. Sarah was very patient as I explained my order. The team displayed excellent customer service on such a busy day. I got a bear batter ice cream in a cone & vegan chocolate chip in a cup. We purchased a combo vegan chocolate chip ice cream sandwich, half brownie half chocolate chip cookie. Everything was delicious. Can't wait to return.
This place which I never seen or had before was AMAZING!!! I would eat this daily oh man I can taste it right now still month later. The customer service was great which is always a hit or miss now days . My son and I loved it and will be back .
If you're in the mood for some ice cream with a cookie this is definitely the spot to go to. They had a variety of cookies and ice cream to choose from. Decided to get a cup of chocolate ice cream with a Cookie Monster cookie in it and it was the perfect combination. The staff member asked if we would like the cookie warmed up a bit and omg that made it extra delicious. The shop isn't too big but has some indoor stools for seating and also had seating outside where we decided to sit and enjoy our dessert.

I had to stop at this cookie ice cream shop located im the Oasis at the Sawgrass Mill Mall. This place offers warm big gooey cookies of many different flavors. My favorite is the velvet cookie. Then i would get vanilla ice cream and they press the ice cream between the two cookies. OMG pure bliss. It melts quick outside so gotta eat it quick and fet plenty of napkins. Best ice cream cookie sandwich around. You can sit on the benches directly in front of the shop. The price is reasonable too for $8.50.

Imagine walking through a crazy, crowded mall, parched and hot from dodging people and scouring the outlets, to find a heavenly oasis of cold, delicious ice cream and soft, warm cookies. Now take two of those cookies, and slap that amazing ice cream between them for a treat straight from the hand of Jesus himself. After all of that happens, imagine there is a friendly staff waiting to help you with whatever you may need. From there, you can sit back in a nice chair and delightful AC, enjoy some cool air, and relax in the blanketed peace and happiness of your treat. Thank me later.

We got a 6 count cookie box and 2 ice cream sandwiches. The customer service was awesome too. We got a chance to try the different ice cream flavors that they have to put in the cookie sandwich. We will definitely be back!
I really loved this concept! I normally do not like ice cream sandwiches but I loved how you can customize it and that it is served warmed. I visited the Saw Grass Mills Mall and was looking for something sweet but wanted something different from the norm. I came across The Baked Bear and gave it a try. Upon entering the shop I immediately noticed how very clean ice cream shop was. The staff were super friendly and answered all my questions. Once I made my selection the staff went to work to make my custom dessert. First the base. I chose a brownie and a chocolate chip cookie. Next the ice cream, I selected the Almond Brittle Cake Ice Cream. The ice cream was sandwiched between the brownie and cookie and moved to a sort of waffle maker to be heated. I thought it was pretty interesting that everything including the ice cream was heated. Moments later the sandwich was pulled off the waffle plate and then came the toppings. I had hot caramel sauce drizzled over top and whipped cream to complete my tasty treat. I thought this process was so unique and only wished there was one in Orlando so I could enjoy it more often. I enjoyed the dessert and would love to try it again so I can choose other combinations.
I don't really like sweets but I love The baked Bear. I'm not really into cakes, pies or other desserts other than doughnuts, cookies and ice cream. The baked bear provide both. I'm a macadamia nut addict and I love getting them from the baked bear. I will sometimes also get a Cookie Monster cookie on the side. The staff is always really nice and helpful. The restaurants are always clean even tho most times we get it to go.
This place truly deserves 5 stars.... However, the customer service was MIA. A simple greeting seemed like pulling teeth and asking questions about the menu seemed like quite a disturbance, thankfully we were the only ones in the restaurant, so we got what looked yummy to us and ENJOYED! OH MY are those some yummy cookies, and to make them into a giant ice cream sandwich was just superb! We highly recommend the gooey butter cake cookie, the fingertips cookie, the s'more cookie, the best batter ice cream and the cookie dough ice cream. I definitely recommend trying a Baked Bear, but if going to this location, don't expect to have your socks knocked off with friendliness.

It's the simple pleasures really: warm gooey chocolate chip cookie, warm gooey white chocolate macadamia cookie, vanilla ice cream with a Nutella spread heated. It was a bit difficult to eat but worth the sticky fingers. I regret nothing.
Free samples are a dangerous thing. One minute you're "just looking," and the next thing you know you're standing at the counter ordering ice cream like it was your idea all along. That's exactly how The Baked Bear got me. Hook, line, and sinker. If you've never been, the concept is simple and brilliant. High-quality ingredients and a build-your-own dessert approach. Cookies, brownies, cones, ice cream, toppings. You mix, match, and create something that feels a little more custom than your average scoop shop. And the ingredients really do deliver. The cones are nicely crisp, and if you've never had one of their ice cream sandwiches, start there. They'll build it with warm cookies on the outside and freezing cold ice cream on the inside, which might be the most satisfying hot-meets-cold dessert combination ever created. Warm cookie. Frozen ice cream. Zero regrets. For my order, I went with the berry crumble and strawberry cheesecake on a waffle cone. The waffle cone had a great crisp to it, and the flavors were light and refreshing. You got a nice hint of berry without it being overpowering. If anything, I would have welcomed a little more berry punch, but it was still very enjoyable. We also tried the campfire s'mores, which absolutely popped with bold flavor, and the cookie dough, which was fine but a little more average compared to the others. The one area where things felt slightly limited was the flavor selection. They offered around a dozen choices, but many leaned heavy into chocolate territory. If you're a chocolate lover, you'll feel like you hit the lottery. If you're looking for a wider range of lighter or fruit-forward options, the variety could be better. Still, the concept is great and the ingredients are excellent. Tip: do not accept the free sample unless you're emotionally prepared to buy ice cream immediately afterward. Four stars. Great concept, excellent flavors, just a little light on variety. Definitely worth the trip even if the sweet tooth hasn't kicked in yet.... Oh, and it's okay sometimes to have dessert for dinner... and this would be the place for that! read more
Stopped in on a Friday afternoon because it was a hot day in Florida and the ice-cream looked yummy. It was cute spot in between Cheesecake factory and Cviche 105. I felt a little hot inside, the door was open though so maybe thats why. There were about 6 chairs facing the window for customers to sit abd enjoy their ice-cream. The staff greeted us nicely and they allowed us to try samples. They sell cookies and ice-cream. You could purchase those individually or in an icecream sandwich. Cool idea. They had nice ice cream flavors but not what I wanted. There was a blue one which I though was a cookie monster but it was something else. I really wanted the cookie monster. They had a cookie monster cookie but not the ice cream. I loved the cookie options. Walked out with a carrot cake cookie for $3 which tasted exactly like carrot cake. They warmed it up for me. The Baked Bear is such a good cookie and ice cream spot!! Noticed this walking by and had to check it out I got the bear bowl which is a hot cookie or brownie with a scoop of ice and topping if you want. The chocolate chip cookie was so warm and fresh tasting. I got the toasted s'mores ice cream which is so delicious and had a lot of marshmallow fluff in it I also added hot fudge on top which really added to the richness. The staff was extremely friendly and let us try multiple flavors no problem. This spot is also extremely tidy and clean and they have some seating inside and some outside. I will absolutely come back when I come back to sawgrasss. read more

Absolutely amazing, workers were very kind, and told us what they were known for. The restaurant its self was nice and cool with the Miami heat, and had seating. Also appreciated the water station. Overall, the ice cream sandwich was amazing, I would say it is shareable. Great pricing considering how large it was. read more

I tried this for the first time while in town for a concert & OMG!!! This was the best cookie sandwich I ever had. I had a custom sandwich (pictured) and it was so good. I don't care for the extra toppings, but they definitely have a good bit of options, for an additional charge of course. The Cookie Monster was a GREAT cookie though. I ate a piece of cousin's & I should've gotten a dozen of those. They also did have drink options as well. My service was excellent. The cashiers/servers were GREAT; very nice and explained everything perfectly. Definitely need them to bring this to Atlanta. read more

Made it to this place just before it closed. It's located in Sawgrass, small shop but cute place. The server was very nice even with us coming in 7 minutes before closing. My hubby and I created our own ice cream sandwich and it was amazing. He had a chocolate chip Cookie Monster cookie with mint chocolate on the inside. Oh and he added sprinkles to it. I had a funfetti cookie and a macadamia nut cookie with vanilla ice cream and fruity pebbles as my topping. We both had our sandwiches warmed up and it was spectacular. 10 out of 10. The flavors were so good. I would highly recommend. read more

Super delicious ice cream cookie sandwich. I liked that you can mix & match the cookie and/or brownie & try the ice cream before you decide exactly what to get. We went for Cookie Monster & banana nut cookies with almond brittle cake ice cream. Best part...they can heat it up on the press & cut it in half to share with a dear one. Delicious accidental find! Cruising the mall at Sawgrass, wanted some ice cream and The Baked Bear delivered. It was a group of 3 of us. Here are our combos: Snickerdoodle cookie with Strawberry Shortcake ice cream. Funfetti cookie and Cookie Monster cookie with a vanilla almond ice cream (the actual names escapes me). Brownie with Cookies & Cream ice cream. I tasted all and it was just what I needed on a hot shopping day. I'll be back for more and I'll bring more friends next time. read more

Yummy ice cream sandwiches! They have so many different flavor options. My favorite is the Bear Batter ice cream with birthday cake cookie on one side and cookies & cream cookie on the other side. Staff is always so nice every time I go there. You're greeted upon arrival and served very quickly. Definitely recommend trying them out. Doing some last minute Christmas shopping and stumbled across this ice cream shop. I was excited for an ice cream sandwich with fresh warm cookies but i became even more excited after discovering i could make my sandwich with a cookie and/or brownie. I did a brownie/red velvet cookie combo with cookie dough ice cream warmed...Amazing!! I love to support when i can and I can't wait to come back for more the next time I'm visiting the area. read more
All the way from San Diego to Sawgrass Mills, the "bear" followed a long trail of honey-sweet treats to serve up to us in South Florida! And just when I thought my favorite frozen slab ice-cream place could not be surpassed, along comes this new store that made my head spin! Choices, choices, and yes, more choices! Although they have an easy-to-follow selection board, it was hard to decide with the pressure of so many people in line behind me. So, I stepped aside and took a few minutes to let it all settle in. I was just going to order a cone, when I soon realized it paid off to wait, as they were bringing out more fresh baked Bear Bowls and cookies. I was immediately captivated by the smell and went for a pizookie--I mean--a chocolate chip bowl with vanilla ice-cream. Not quite my favorite ice-cream, but I figured any other combo would be way too sweet after having shared a bite of cheesecake across the way at dinner. The one thing I wish they had control over to improve upon is that it's a small space with only a couple of chairs. That said, the outdoor seating shared with the other restaurants and stores well compensates. All in all, my first visit was a good experience with a great product, friendly associates, comparable prices, and I will be going back again soon; not so much for the ice-cream itself, but for their many sandwich combinations and toppings, which include gluten-free and vegan options. Therefore, when in west Broward, you should check 'em out in the Oasis at Sawgrass. As it turns out, The Baked Bear's signature flavor and branding color is BLUE, and we are all just partial to that color in Broward!! read more

I was so excited to see that there was a baked bear in my city. I first tried this place in California with my brother and found the concept to be amazing. I really like that they have different flavors of ice cream and cookies and also brownies that you can mix-and-match to create your own little sandwich or dessert Sundae. Every time I go it's well-maintained and the staff are friendly. I always end up a happy girl. read more

YUM! Decided to do the bowl as opposed to a cookie sandwich. I selected the mint chocolate ice cream on a brownie. It was amazing. The mint chocolate wasn't too mint, it was just perfect and creamy. The gentleman that was working was very helpful in explaining how their menu works. Great experience and very clean place. Was able to sit inside. Urrrr meeee gosh! What the heck! This place is amazing. I am one of those people that does not EVER eat a cold cookie - they're gross. At the baked bear you get a cookie or brownie sandwich in between any ice cream of your liking. This would easily be a 5 star ice cream shop. However, I informed the person up front that my daughter has a dairy allergy. She gave her dairy free chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. Unfortunately I think she may have gotten mixed up as my daughter had an allergic reaction as soon as she was a few bites in. This worried me and my poor kid suffered all day. Had my daughter not had a reaction this would've been 5 stars. I will be back! I just won't have my little girl eat there. read more

No. The ones I had were soft-baked but done. Perhaps, you got a batch that was accidentally under baked.
