TL;DR: got harassed by the staff for an item they might have mistakenly brought to our table…read more I just had a bad experience at Bonjour. My wife, our 3-year-old daughter, and I went there for breakfast. Because our daughter won't stay seated, my wife and I usually take turns eating. I hung out with our daughter while my wife ordered and ate. Then, we switched. A quiche was brought to the table. I wasn't expecting it, so I asked the waitress to confirm it was for our table. She said, "Yes, it is." I assumed my wife had ordered it, so I ate it. I was about to leave when a manager came over to ask if I had ordered the item, to which I answered, "I don't know." She asked for the receipt, which I didn't have. At this point, three staff members were standing around questioning me about this quiche. One of them brought out a receipt with "154" written on it; our table was 54. They were speaking Spanish among themselves, so I wasn't sure what was happening, but they eventually walked away. I thought the matter was settled. I went outside, and my wife went back inside to wash her hands. The manager approached her to ask if she had ordered the quiche and requested the receipt, explaining that I had probably eaten an item I didn't pay for. My wife hadn't kept the receipt, so we couldn't confirm or deny it. Maybe the person at the counter added it to our order by mistake. Maybe the waitress brought it by mistake and confirmed it was ours by mistake. But ultimately, we didn't make the mistake. Don't harass customers over your own errors. It isn't worth it for a quiche.

Everything is decorated beautifully. I'd say the prices are expensive. But unfortunately, with all the choices and not a lot of people coming, they lack in quality. I'll explain. Framboise cake. It was good. Not too sweet. I could definitely have had eaten another slice Chocofinger taste VERY rich. It was good don't get me wrong. But it was so sweet. I couldn't eat more than two bites. I don't think this one is ordered much because it had a freezer burn or being in The fridge for too long taste to it. Apple pie very different from American Apple pie. The sauce was dry-which is fine so it won't be soggy but it wasn't very good. And made it lack in flavor. I wouldnt get this again. Especially since it was close to $6 Lava cake I don't know if I warmed it up properly, but it wasn't really lava. It was nice and moist inside. This was definitely my favorite thing we tried. And the only thing I would eat again. But it also had the freezer burn flavor to it. Canele my first time trying this one. It was okay. I liked the flavor but it wasn't anything I would get again. Ojo de Tigre it was stale. And didn't have flavor. I wouldnt get this again either. Traditional baguette it was already a little hard by the time I got it. I don't think they are busy enough to be making them fresh throughout the day. But for $3 it was okay. Overall it was a flop for their bakery side. Their cakes are okay. I may try some more. Maybe they are known for their hot food.

We are blessed to have many options of Peruvian restaurants in south Florida that are great, but the hardest part is finding restaurants that have excellent dishes all around. For example, the restaurant may have good ceviche, but their mains aren't strong. They may have great mains, but their desserts just don't hit authentically. Olenka Peruvian Restaurant hits the nail on the head in every area! I was genuinely impressed how much range their menu carries plus, the flavor was not lacking in any round. My favs were their ceviche mixed with fried fish (spicy), their seafood risotto and their alfajores were to die for. Alfajores are minimal ingredients and the easiest to mess up. Round of applause! My husband and I decided this is our new spot!

Our server was great with recommendations also allowing me to try different drinks. I ended up ordering the tropical drink. We also ordered the conchas la parmesaana for our appetizer. They were good. My husband also had the vegetable soup and he liked it. For our entrees which we had to go due to another engagement but no fault on the restaurant we had pasta huancaina and lomo saltado and my husband had the same with chicken milanesa. Both dishes were delicious! We will definitely be back to try more dishes and maybe even dessert next time!

They have a lot of interesting brands of meats, pasta, sauce and more. The service at the register was great. The lady really took care bagging my groceries. Did I mention they have some tasty gelato from Italy? They have food and wine events sometimes. I went to one of those long ago at tjis location. Those are worth the money you spend. I am going to make an effort to stop here when I am nearby.

But the real star here is the bakery -- it's absolutely out of this world. My personal favorite is the chocolate rum ball -- rich, moist, and perfectly balanced. The mini chocolate cannoli are incredible, with creamy filling and a crisp shell. The cannoli cookie is also delicious and unique. We took some pastries home, and even after being left overnight in the refrigerator, they were still fresh and tasted amazing the next day. We heard they also have another location in Pembroke Pines, which we're excited to try next. If it's anything like the Sunrise store, we know it'll be fantastic. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian pastries and market goodies!

I came in on a Sunday morning around 10am and it was super crowded, which was a good sign. Despite the crowd, the line moved fast and my order came out really quickly. They have more matcha flavors than anywhere else I've seen, so it was a hard choice. I ended up going with the marshmallow, and I'm super happy with my choice. The matcha and marshmallow flavors were both strong and complemented each other well. They have a pastry case that I completely missed because it's around the corner, or I might have tried something there too. I love the cute animal decor as well, and I don't believe they charged extra for alternative milks, which is always huge bonus points for me. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors and maybe an empanada!

I would recommend this as a good place to chat with a friend over a space for studying or working. Especially because I found the staff lovely and conversational. Their prices are far more reasonable than many other local coffee shops nearby which was definitely a major plus. I enjoyed the lavender latte, but would probably only get it hot in the future, and would try a different iced latte flavor. The spicy chicken empanada was delicious and I would definitely get it again. It had a nice curry sauce inside (though it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be). The ham and cheese sandwich was also surprisingly good. Though simple, they tasted like quality ingredients.
