A country club??

Not even a real restaurant! This is a kiosk in a country club inside a gated community that has a freezer full of goods they will place in a toaster over for you, at their earliest convenience. Nothing made on site. I should have known better than to stop at a Sponsored Ad on Yelp, very disappointing.

This spot was at a country club! The people were quite snobbish, but the food was great!

Wow! The empanadas were so good and the salad very fresh and very large. The lady behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. Great find!

Great flavor, wonderful service, quaint spot. Don't worry about having to go into a gated community to get there, the food is worth it.

They make great Argentinian empanadas. Most of the food is home made and great quality. Try the brownies :-)

Today we were in a hurry and needed a quick bite before we headed out to an Everglades excursion.

We got the: Mini chaja - I had no idea what this was, and so therefore needed to order it. It's like a pear and dulce de leche cake covered in meringue and it was super super sweet. Really delicious, but way overboard with the sweetness. I feel like if I ate it myself, it would last a few days because you eat two bites and your sweet tooth is satisfied. Fruit tart - pretty classic fruit tart but delicious nonetheless Torta nonna - if you like almond and lemon you'll like this, but the almond flavor was a bit too much for me. Mini mousse - really rich without feeling too heavy, this is a really good option if you don't want something too sweet. Copita tiramisu - the tiramisu is super light with a strong coffee flavor. And the cup is a nice novelty, but I think I would order the normal tiramisu over this. Tiramisu - super light with a strong coffee flavor Affogato - good but not sweet enough for my taste, the espresso is super strong

After coming here for over eight years, this place continues to satisfy my Brazilian food cravings…read more The team at Pampa Gaúcho hasn't just maintained their standards; they've raised the bar in both service and variety. They have added grilled pineapple, which is perfect for cleansing the palate between meats, and a grilled white cheese with honey that is delicious. The polenta is no longer served at the table, but it isn't really missed. The salad bar is well-stocked with fresh greens and several savory sides that are always plentiful. The meats are served frequently and are always cooked to your preferred temperature upon request. For dessert, my favorites remain the passion fruit mousse and the brigadeiro cake--they even brought me the mousse with chocolate sauce when I asked! The atmosphere is private and cozy. It isn't ostentatious, yet it feels special enough for a celebration or a nice casual dinner. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

We had a 7 pm reservation but upon arrival we were given a pager and we were not seated until 7:30 pm. 3. There is no ambiance. 4. The salad bar was less than small. 5. We asked for water so they brought us a bottle of water while we were at the salad bar and then charged us for the bottle. We would not have drank it had we known that there was a charge for it. 6. The restaurant was way overpriced. The price was comparable to restaurants on Las Olas and the quality of the food was not nearly the same.

It's a cute setup, though it looks like the furniture could use a bit more care. Animals and weather will always take a toll on outdoor seating, so I'd recommend they start covering it to keep things fresh. That said, I didn't regret sitting there--it still added to the experience. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from an Argentine steakhouse, but I was pleasantly surprised by the drinks. I had both the cucumber gimlet and an espresso martini, and both were excellent. So good, in fact, we went in for a second round with no hesitation. To start, we had the shrimp appetizer, and it was very solid. The shrimp came in a buttery sauce with some bread on the side, and it hit the spot. The table bread itself was also a win--fresh, warm, and well-baked. For entrées, we had the steak with a side salad. The steak was fresh and cooked well, and the salad was crisp. However, the sides overall felt a bit underwhelming. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out either. We also ordered the lobster ravioli, and that dish didn't quite land. The filling inside the ravioli was good, but the sauce tasted like plain cream and butter, it didn't really complement the dish or elevate the flavor. It was edible, but forgettable. Maybe this is more of an appetizer and drinks place for me and not dinner.
