    Pulpo Al olivo
    Krzysza K.

Delicious & beautiful plates and drinks in a beautifully decorated restaurant. We started off with the pulpo al olivo which was phenomenal! It was my first time trying the dish and I'm in love. We then moved to the tuna causitas tostadas where they torch them in front of you then pour the ponzu sauce over them. Those were super tasty & great for sharing! We finished off with the chaufa Ponca which was amazing! I ordered the carajillo drink and I think I found my new favorite cocktail! Like an espresso martini but sweet and on the rocks. For dessert we had these little cream ice cubes with cinnamon, don't remember the name but they were really good and refreshing! Definitely recommend this place for its amazing menu (and menu style with everything pictured) and beautiful interior.

Went to Manta for the first time last weekend and it was great! I 100% recommend the pisco sour. It was tarte, sweet, and smooth. The Ceviche tacos were an absolute banger. so fresh, i have not had anything like those tacos! Lomo Saltado was delicious but not worth the price tag... Have had bigger portions at other places. All in all I would definitely come back. Not to mention our server was extremely knowledgeable and the service was fast and attentive.

So glad I stumbled upon Manta after a day at the beach! They have indoor and outdoor seating and the day I visited, the doors to outside were pulled backed so sitting at the bar felt like being outside and I loved the feels. Carlos was our bartender and he was on it! Very friendly and helpful in explaining certain items on the menu. I absolutely loved that each food and cocktail had a picture so you can see what it actually looks like and what we did order looked just like the pictures. I literally wanted to try one of everything. I know they say they are traditional Peruvian food but the dishes seem to have Japanese infusion which I love! I'm a sucker for anything octopus and their menu had several options to choose from. The octopus was cooked and seasoned well. I loved the oil based sauce on the ceviche - they did offer to make it in the traditional lime sauce but we wanted the oil and I'm glad I tried it! And lastly we had the pork belly which was a unique dish and the pork was very tender and delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more!

We found Manta by accident, just driving south on Federal Highway. Came in around 8:30pm on a Sat and sat at the bar. Service was a bit slow and the restaurant wasn't very busy, but everyone who worked there was very nice. We started with some cocktails (pineapple too sour, blue too sweet), but the food was amazing! Appetizer was tuna on mashed potato with avocado, delicious. Next we shared the salmon roll and chicken and rice. Both very very good!

New to the area this place has been open about 2 months now . There is one also located in Wynwood as well . I stopped by for a lunch while in the area to check it out Decor : The place is nice and offers inside seating . Plenty of bar seating . And outside dining options . I love the options for seating here . Eats : I was in the mood for ceviche which I came specifically for I tried out the classic ceviche . Pretty good but was extremely limed. I eat this often and it was more than the norm. I also tried the tacos which had a spin on it which was also pretty good . Comes with a lot of mayo FYI. Drinks : I tried the Margarita which was really good and priced at 15$z Staff: It wasn't busy while there but the staff still was very kind and attentive which was great. I sat at the bar

Tonight we celebrated my husband's birthday with her son and daughter-in-law at this new local restaurant. This was our second time here the bartender and the drinks were great, the ambiance is beautiful there's a lot of money that went into the design and Decor of this restaurant. We had a lovely table and our server was Brunella, who is fantastic, she's very sweet, very helpful and very efficient!

Chronically cool ambience and good service. But the food was not well done. Their thing is uncooked fish so other than the ceviche, would definately not recommrnd.

Like others have said, the atmosphere is nice and the staff on point. But the food and drinks are way over priced for what they are. Some of their dishes are not even Peruvian: Beef stroganoff with pasta carbonara and grilled shrimp WTH??!! I will stick to Sr. Ceviche up the road for traditional Peruvian food and value.

The food was so good--everything tasted super fresh and well-made. We also tried some of their chicha morada and it was really refreshing, perfect for the vibe. While we were there, we noticed they have an amazing brunch selection that we're definitely coming back to try. Can't wait to return!

New Peruvian restaurant! Great service and atmosphere! Our waiter was extremely attentive and brought us fresh plates and silverware for our main course. Food was delicious and had an incredible presentation. For appetizers, we split the pork belly tapas which were incredible. For entrees, we had the duck dish (picture provided) and the stuffed pepper. Amazing flavors. The stuffed pepper was on the spicier side and a heartier meal. If I had to be picky, wish my duck was a hair less cooked, and the potatoes au gratin that came with the stuffed pepper was served warmer!! Overall, great experience and will definitely be returning. Can't wait to try more dishes.

Went last night with wife and a friend. Amazing seems to accurately describe everything here. Our server was Alexandra. Kind, knowledgeable of the menu, and genuinely caring of our experience. The Pisco Sours were top notch, the ceviche trio was amazing and the suspire dessert delicious. The atmosphere is nouveau chic. Just can't say enough about the vibe, food, and service. We will be back very soon. Oh, and great bar area!

Our family tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Jalea, a fried seafood platter. While the portion was smaller than what you typically find at other Peruvian restaurants, the seafood was fresh. I just wish there had been more calamari, fish, shrimp, and fried yucca. We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate. Peruvian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors and Asian influences, and I believe it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

Instead of simply seating us as paying customers, the manager repeatedly argued that because my first order was "to go," we could not sit down. I explained several times that we were ordering more food, dining in, and tipping for the service, but she continued arguing and became rude and unprofessional. When I told her I was upset with how we were being treated, she actually responded that she was upset too. That is not how a manager should speak to a customer who is trying to resolve a simple situation. What bothered me even more was the way she repeatedly spoke/yelled at my young son for touching the decorations. The entire interaction made my family feel unwelcome, singled out, and honestly felt discriminatory. A manager should know how to communicate respectfully, solve a simple customer-service issue, and make families feel welcome--not argue with customers and escalate the situation. Management/ownership should seriously review how this manager treats customers because this experience made us not want to return.

We arrived around 8:30 p.m. and were seated immediately. The hostess was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout our visit, especially since our server took our order and never returned to check on us again. We ordered the corvina ceviche, traditional wok with chicken, churrasco, and a side of plantains. The ceviche took approximately 20-25 minutes to arrive, and our entrees didn't come out until nearly 50 minutes after we ordered in which our steak was overcooked and definitely not medium. Meanwhile, the table next to us was seated after us and received their meals within about 15 minutes. By that point, it was already 9:30 p.m., and we were understandably frustrated, especially since our son doesn't eat ceviche and had been waiting the entire time for his meal. The manager came over, apologized, and explained that he wasn't sure what had happened with our order. We appreciated that he took the time to address the situation and offered us dessert. However, by then it was approaching 9:45 p.m., and we were ready to get the check and head home. The food was genuinely very good, which makes the experience even more disappointing. We're undecided about whether we'll return, but we hope this was simply an off night because the kitchen clearly has a lot of potential.
