    Happy hour !

When in Deerfield this is one of my favorite spots. From the service which is always so attentive , to the casual sea food shack ambience but the real star is always the food. We went on a Wednesday which is 1/2 off wines luckily and just wanted some good sushi and chowder. The clam chowder was excellent (first time I tried it). And we shared a few rolls. All the roll recommendations were excellent and we left before dessert. But I will be back for the Key lime Pie and deep fried snapper.

Wow, let me start off by saying I've been to many "great" seafood establishments and Papa's Raw Bar definitely takes the cake for the best one in South Florida. My wife and I enjoyed everything we ordered, the sushi, crispy rice, and wahoo bites were all 10/10, couldn't be more satisfied with their dishes. The service was also amazing, since we came in to ask for a table and our waitress Liz was super helpful in picking out drinks and food choices, she was very knowledgeable about the menu! I am definitely coming back soon, even if it's an hour drive for us! The vibes here are great and everyone who works here is super nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants tasty fresh seafood for a fair price!

Awesome rolls. Come on Monday for $5 off. Not sure if seafood world market is also theirs. Excellent dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Awesome place for fresh seafood. Had the red dragon roll which was absolutely delicious as well as the fish dip. My wife had a poke bowl, with brown rice which she really liked. Real casual vibe almost makes you feel like you're sitting in a little waterfront place in New England. Service was a really good stayed on top of things.

Loved this place! This is a fresh fish market in Lightpoint - I've never been here before but I'd certainly go back. We started our meal with drinks and fried wantons with queso - - -wow - - I've never had that combination but it's a winner! The queso was so good I literally licked the bowl (sort of). Next we ordered dinner - my friend had the snow crab legs - 40.00/pound - she loved them. I had the steamed clams - loved them - they were really quite flavorful and dunking the roll in the juice was a fabulous way to end the meal. There is valet parking, music in the evening, outdoor seating (as well as indoor) and a great bar. If you live near Lightpoint and haven't been here - you should go right now!

We had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The food arrived quickly, and our server provided excellent service throughout the meal. Everything we ordered was delicious--the smoked fish dip was especially flavorful, and the sushi roll did not disappoint. I chose the tilefish lemon pepper sandwich, which was also outstanding. I would definitely recommend this spot and look forward to returning!

Ok I LOVED Papa's Raw Bar I went on a Friday night and there was great live music playing - even though this spot is on Federal and we sat outside, I felt like I was at a beach bar! The sushi was fresh tasting, and the different types of rolls were very unique and flavorful. Servers were very friendly and attentive, I can't wait to come back to the spot. It may be a new favorite of mine!

5/10/25 Great sushi, so many choices. Everything is very fresh. Very casual atmosphere. Terrific service. The queen bee roll, spicy tuna, zack attack are all favorite sushi rolls. Highly recommend the fresh fish tacos, and white clam chowder.

Papa's has great cocktails and sushi! We started with the Whiskey Smash and the Ship Wrecked, which is their take on an Old Fashioned. Both were balanced well & paired with proper ice--chewblet for the Smash and a large cube for the Ship. For food we ordered the Cracked Conch and the Wet Dream Roll. The conch was fresh with the perfect amount batter. The Wet Dream Roll had tempura Wahoo with seared scallops on top. We loved both of them. Overall a great experience, but one critique was the happy hour that ended at 6, before our arrival.

The server Sam was very helpful and knowledgeable, the food was amazing, and the place has a good atmosphere Ample portion sizes. Dived into main course and didn't get pictures after sushi, lol Worth the visit!!

This place is incredible! Truly blown away for a restaurant in a shopping plaza. First off, the ambience has such a fun and beachy, local feel. We went on a Friday night and the live music was enjoyable. Not too loud! I mostly got sushi. Everything was delicious. I love places that have good chunks of fish and no fillers like cream cheese. You can tell that the ingredients were fresh and they had a bunch of wahoo on the menu, which is such a plus for me. And to add, there's a cute fish shop attached and owned by the restaurant. Safe to say, this is my new favorite spot!

I hear this place is wonderful, parking is difficult, and the place is always packed. My question is what time should we get there for dinner on a Sat night if we want to eat inside in a booth or at a table and we want the least wait time? TIA.

If you go before 5:30 pm you will have no problem parking or getting a table right away After November 1, I would go at 5

I was searching Yelp for seafood, and this came up as highly rated. One of the people in our party of 5 adults and a toddler is not a huge fan of seafood, so having Italian options was great. He ordered the special eggplant parmigiana and said it was delicious. The sauce was very good and he cleaned his plate. . Everyone also enjoyed their salads with the ginger dressing. A few even added some balsamic and said the combo was delicious. The wahoo bites we had as an appetizer was crispy and flaky and lovely. Our 16 month old guest enjoyed them as well. I ordered the sesame crusted ahi tuna and Bahamian peas and rice side. The tuna was perfectly cooked and the Bahamian peas and rice were amazing!!! The spicy flavor and beautifully textured rice were the perfect side with the tuna! Others ordered the Linguine Alla Vongole - fresh clams in the shell with garlic scampi sauce and Crazy Bob's Shrimp and Calamari Fra Diavolo with angel hair pasta. There was a generous amount of clams, shrimp and calamari in the respective dishes enjoyed with the wonderful pastas. The generous amount of pasta was taken home. Our sever Agnes was a delight! Very kind and an absolute pleasure! While we were too full and content to have desserts those who live in town said they will need to come back and leave room for the key lime pie. The dining area was decorated with wonderful art and nautical treasures. A few tables exist for outdoor dining. Mostly for two or four diners. Highly recommend Chef Dee's restaurant!

We entered and met Sandy, the nicest yet down to earth hostess. She greeted us and walked us to tables toward the back which would accompany 3 people. This was away from the Steel Drums which was the main reason we were visiting the establishment. I mentioned I had called previously to make sure the steel drums were definitely playing tonight and we really wanted to be seated closer to watch and hear the entertainment. All the seats close to where he was were 2 top tables or the bar but my son is 12- so that was a "no." She then said we could sit at 2 tables but we couldn't move the chairs. We said that was GREAT as it was close to the music and we didn't mind sitting in a "line" as that's kinda like sitting at the bar. We were very pleased and had the nicest server who was very attentive and helpful. I think the manager was a little confused as to why Sandy sat our family like that but what she did was provide excellent customer service and helped our family have a peaceful relaxing evening. And, for that - Sandy is the best and say "Hi" to her next time you go there. She will do her best to assist you. We will be back to the Nauti-Dawg. The food was really good and very filling. Customer service was outstanding. And, the atmosphere is very relaxing. 5 stars from our family!

From the moment we walked in and were handed a glass of prosecco, it was clear this would be something different. There was an intentionality to everything--the pacing, the ambiance, the way each course was introduced. It didn't feel transactional. It felt ceremonial. Each of the six courses represented a different European destination (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Greece), and what made it extraordinary wasn't just the quality of the food--which was exceptional--but the way the environment transformed alongside it. Lighting, visuals, sound, and narration worked together in a way that made every dish feel contextual and meaningful, rather than simply plated. Every part of this immersive experience contained instruments working in harmony to amplify the meaning of each course. The courses were beautifully composed and balanced. Nothing felt excessive or forced. Each plate served a purpose in the broader narrative, and each wine or cocktail pairing elevated the dish rather than competing with it. What stood out most, though, was how present it made you feel. In a world where most dinners blur together, this one didn't. Time slowed down. You became immersed. Fully engaged. The service was impeccable--attentive, warm, and deeply knowledgeable without ever feeling rehearsed or overbearing. You felt guided, not served. Tommy (the owner/proprietor) and his staff were unquestionably five-stars. By the end, you remembered how it felt to be transported somewhere else without ever boarding a plane. It's worth every moment.

We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate.
