We went here for the first time, it won't be our last! We were there for 4th of July and usually on our previous expeditions when it's crazy holiday the service is extremely slow or the food comes out ugly! Not at this place, they were beyond accommodating and the food was very tasteful! The location is so close to the beach and the views are spectacular, stop by for some delicious food; highly recommend! read more

Great value for the price. The menu has great options for everyone. The service is amazing. They're prompt and check in on you often. Making sure you have everything that you need. Not a bad choice on Pompano Beach if you want Sushi and a beach walk afterwards. Service was good, but we noticed some of our rolls were salty, which I have never experienced before. Presentation is great, but the rolls were not spectacular, just decent. read more

Best Sushi we've had in a very long time in the greater Broward County area! So, so fresh! We live 2 miles away and can't believe we've never been here. Definitely our new "go to" spot for Sushi! yummy Absolutely love this fresh place 9face sushi. The ladies are always so bright and happy and the food is spectacular! My daughter is a sushi connoisseur and got me eating sushi. This is by far my favorite place to go with her and it's right here at the beach next to Briney's. They have a nice selection of sakes as well and the vegetable fried Rice is unlike any fried rice I've ever had. The roll was superb !!! read more

The sushi here is SO fresh and delicious. We gota leave sampling of sushi and each piece did not disappoint. The prices were right on par with other sushi places in the area. We did not leave hungry! All of the staff were so friendly and provided great service. They served our sushi in the shape of a smiley face lol! Definitely recommend! It was a little dark inside, but a cool atmosphere. 9 Face Sushi Cafe is the best sushi restaurant in South Florida. Although the restaurant is small, their food is out of this world. I am extremely picky when it comes to eating sushi, especially raw fish, if it isn't "fresh off the boat", I won't eat it. 9 Face Sushi is the freshest sushi around. The specialty rolls are not only delicious but are large and filling. I have ordered the lobster roll, phat boy roll, bonsai roll and a few others & have never been disappointed. Great little sushi spot in Pompano Beach! I enjoyed both of the rolls I ordered, and my husband enjoyed his Thai noodle dish. The food was made to order; it didn't arrive at the table in a hurry, which I appreciate. The service was good, as well. There are tables outside, so you can people watch while you eat. Although you can't see the ocean, the restaurant definitely has the vibe of being in a beach town and close to the water. Surprisingly, the prices were also very reasonable! Service was impeccable, the server was very considerate and patient with my parents whom are picky and difficult when ordering food. I enjoyed the outside seating area, the ambiance was full of people wanting to relax and chat and have a refreshing sushi near the beach. I would highly recommend the calamari, the only down side was that I wanted more, so we ordered another basket of it. And the beef yakisoba was a very flavorful dish that was the perfect option for a warm cooked meal. Highly recommend to try it out. read more

I had been wanting to try it for a while because it seems like a neighborhood favorite of the Pompano locals. It definitely has its following, with staff that know the locals and welcome them with open arms. I have to say that I was disappointed with the sushi, though...I felt that the fish was pretty bland and all of the rolls we ordered lacked flavor. read more

This place is amazing! There is 90 minute free parking behind the restaurant, plus plenty of parking out front. The restaurant is such a fun vibe inside! It's very trendy but also seems like a sweet family-owned place. Service is incredible and they even treated us to a complimentary white tuna salad! We started with the tuna tartare (I forgot to take a photo of it, but I definitely recommend), a wonton soup (served in a little pan - so cute!) and a seaweed salad. We got the Beach and Bonsai rolls, which were both to die for. I wish I had room left in the tank for some mochi for dessert - next time! I 1000% recommend! Delicious! A charming little spot beachside Pompano. Excellent service- friendly and professional. We sat outside on a beautiful evening and enjoyed the spicy miso which was very tasty with edamame on the side. Next was the Pompano Beach stack with diced salmon & tuna served over rice with a special sauce- yum! And a spider roll. A nice selection of beer & saki. The food was tasty and fresh. Ordered to-go via Uber Eats from 9 Face for the first time. I have a few friends who frequent this sushi/Thai spot and have given me their fully vetted recommendation. We ordered seafood pad Thai, fresh steamed gyoza and two sushi rolls. The two sushi rolls (Hustler Roll and Luck 13 Roll) were so good - very fresh. I liked the Lucky 13 with the avocado on top the best. While I liked the seafood pad Thai, the peanut sauce flavor wasn't very present. The hot food arrived hot, which is good, but since everything was in the same bag it always makes the sushi kind of warm which was a bit of a turn off. Otherwise, this was a great to-go experience for our first try. Based on others' posts, it looks like they have a great dine-in specials. Hoping to visit in person some day soon. In the meantime, looking forward to ordering more take-out from 9 Face to try more of their sushi and Thai dishes. read more

I have been a life long customer and patron of the 9 face sushi cafe. I would recommend anything on the menu, however the pompano roll and the rainbow roll are rather remarkable. The fish is always fresh and the sushi is always prepared perfectly. The service is one of a kind here at the 9 face, you will not find anything like this somewhere else especially at other sushi bars in the area. This family owned business has a great atmosphere. There were 5 4-top tables inside the restaurant as well as counter seating, however, it doesn't seem they use the counters for serving as they were full of to-go orders and other things. I'm sure if they were full they would make room. The place is nice and homey and decorated super cute. It's a small restaurant but comfortable. By the time we were finishing up all the tables were full and it was still a reasonable volume. Our server was the nicest woman ever! She was super attentive even while taking care of every single table in the restaurant. She was extremely nice and super helpful. There's not one bad thing to say about her. We decided to order the sashimi appetizer, the miso soup, the paradise roll, and 6 pieces of sushi from the a la carte menu as well as a small side of fried rice. We also got one of the cold sake bottles and a glass of the house white wine (Chardonnay). First, the sake bottle was so cute it was pink and our server placed it in a wine cooler type thing to keep it cold. My wine glass was huge and filled to the top! It was more like 2-3 glasses of wine rather than 1 which I loved! As for the food, my favorite dishes were the fried rice, the paradise roll, and the miso soup. The sashimi appetizer was good, however, the fish was slightly fishy tasting which in my mind means it's not as fresh as it could be. It was still good just tasted slightly off than what I'm used to. As for my a la carte sushi pieces I got the salmon, tuna, ika, ebi, octopus, and tamago. I have a few things to mention regarding these pieces. First of all, I know some people may say this is a weird thing to complain about but the fish pieces were far too large. Compared to the amount of rice, the fish pieces were overtaking the rice. Second, some of the pieces of fish again tasted not as fresh as they could be, with some of the fish being so tough I couldn't even chew it (specifically the squid and the octopus). These fish are supposed to be like butter from experience. All in all, I had a great experience and the food was overall really good, just not sure if I would order sushi again next time. I feel like I'll try out the Thai food menu next.

Bright and lively, with friendly wait staff we could see the Sushi kitchen was kept busy as we looked the menu. I chose a Sashimi Plate lunch special. It came with a ginger salad bowl, Rice, 4 pieces of a tempura shrimp roll, a spring roll, two pieces of crab Rangoon, salmon, tuna and white fish. The dish was good and it was fresh. My wife chose a Cashew Chicken Bento Box lunch which had a wide assortment of side items. She ate most but had issues with some of the items and overcooked meat. A large spacious place with fairly fast kitchen service. Lots of parking available.

I have tried a few of their wok dishes with chicken and they all have been good- my favorite is chicken with brown sauce. They allow you to choose the heat level, which is also gray and I always choose medium, which is spicy, but not too spicy. Great portion sizes. They have a great wonton soup and their dumplings are delicious as well. They have happy hour from 5-6:30 pm and you are able to order from your table. Look forward to trying other items on their menu.
