Best Sushi we've had in a very long time in the greater Broward County area! So, so fresh! We live 2 miles away and can't believe we've never been here. Definitely our new "go to" spot for Sushi! Not a bad choice on Pompano Beach if you want Sushi and a beach walk afterwards. Service was good, but we noticed some of our rolls were salty, which I have never experienced before. Presentation is great, but the rolls were not spectacular, just decent. read more

yummy Absolutely love this fresh place 9face sushi. The ladies are always so bright and happy and the food is spectacular! My daughter is a sushi connoisseur and got me eating sushi. This is by far my favorite place to go with her and it's right here at the beach next to Briney's. They have a nice selection of sakes as well and the vegetable fried Rice is unlike any fried rice I've ever had. The roll was superb !!! read more

The sushi here is SO fresh and delicious. We gota leave sampling of sushi and each piece did not disappoint. The prices were right on par with other sushi places in the area. We did not leave hungry! All of the staff were so friendly and provided great service. They served our sushi in the shape of a smiley face lol! Definitely recommend! It was a little dark inside, but a cool atmosphere. 9 Face Sushi Cafe is the best sushi restaurant in South Florida. Although the restaurant is small, their food is out of this world. I am extremely picky when it comes to eating sushi, especially raw fish, if it isn't "fresh off the boat", I won't eat it. 9 Face Sushi is the freshest sushi around. The specialty rolls are not only delicious but are large and filling. I have ordered the lobster roll, phat boy roll, bonsai roll and a few others & have never been disappointed. The food was made to order; it didn't arrive at the table in a hurry, which I appreciate. The service was good, as well. There are tables outside, so you can people watch while you eat. I had been wanting to try it for a while because it seems like a neighborhood favorite of the Pompano locals. It definitely has its following, with staff that know the locals and welcome them with open arms. Service was impeccable, the server was very considerate and patient with my parents whom are picky and difficult when ordering food. I enjoyed the outside seating area, the ambiance was full of people wanting to relax and chat and have a refreshing sushi near the beach. I would highly recommend the calamari, the only down side was that I wanted more, so we ordered another basket of it. And the beef yakisoba was a very flavorful dish that was the perfect option for a warm cooked meal. Highly recommend to try it out. read more

This place is amazing! There is 90 minute free parking behind the restaurant, plus plenty of parking out front. The restaurant is such a fun vibe inside! It's very trendy but also seems like a sweet family-owned place. Service is incredible and they even treated us to a complimentary white tuna salad! We started with the tuna tartare (I forgot to take a photo of it, but I definitely recommend), a wonton soup (served in a little pan - so cute!) and a seaweed salad. We got the Beach and Bonsai rolls, which were both to die for. I wish I had room left in the tank for some mochi for dessert - next time! I 1000% recommend! Delicious! A charming little spot beachside Pompano. Excellent service- friendly and professional. We sat outside on a beautiful evening and enjoyed the spicy miso which was very tasty with edamame on the side. Next was the Pompano Beach stack with diced salmon & tuna served over rice with a special sauce- yum! And a spider roll. A nice selection of beer & saki. The food was tasty and fresh. Ordered to-go via Uber Eats from 9 Face for the first time. I have a few friends who frequent this sushi/Thai spot and have given me their fully vetted recommendation. We ordered seafood pad Thai, fresh steamed gyoza and two sushi rolls. The two sushi rolls (Hustler Roll and Luck 13 Roll) were so good - very fresh. I liked the Lucky 13 with the avocado on top the best. While I liked the seafood pad Thai, the peanut sauce flavor wasn't very present. The hot food arrived hot, which is good, but since everything was in the same bag it always makes the sushi kind of warm which was a bit of a turn off. Otherwise, this was a great to-go experience for our first try. Based on others' posts, it looks like they have a great dine-in specials. Hoping to visit in person some day soon. In the meantime, looking forward to ordering more take-out from 9 Face to try more of their sushi and Thai dishes. read more

The only downsides are the long wait times (the place is small and so popular, so you can only imagine) and a couple times when we ordered mango sticky rice, either they ran out of ice cream or mangos. Hopefully they'll have everything the next time. I will say, overall, their food is worth the wait and a top Thai spot on our list!

I usually order the award winning Vegan Red Curry from here with the Spring Rolls. I like that they give you 2 full rolls. Other Thai places often only give you one if at all. The dish itself comes in a clay pot and has a creamy texture and perfect spice level. I usually order medium spicy and the servers always ask for your preference on this, which is nice. I have also eaten and enjoyed the Pad Thai, Green Curry, Basil Stirfry, and Thai fried rice. It's all very well prepared and fresh tasting. The lunch special is just the right portion of food and it comes with rice. Highly recommend the place!

For appetizers, we ordered the crispy money bags and the chor muang dumplings, and both were delicious. The crispy money bags, filled with sweet potato, onion, and curry powder and served with pineapple sauce, had a great crunch. The chor muang dumplings were especially surprising, in a good way. They contain shrimp and pork and are wrapped in a butterfly pea flower dumpling, which gives them their beautiful purple color. However, I wasn't expecting them to be sweet. The presentation was amazing as well. We split one entree, which was the pad see ew with chicken. It comes with flat noodles, Chinese broccoli, egg, and a brown sauce. It was delicious, the noodles held the sauce really well. My friend ordered a second drink, which we can't remember the name of, that she didn't enjoy as much. She found it a bit too sweet and didn't love the aftertaste. Overall, we enjoyed almost everything we tried. We weren't expecting so many dishes to have a hint of sweetness, but we'll definitely be back to try more.
