We stopped by here for lunch. The restaurant is tiny! Probably the smallest we've been to in a very long time. There are a few booths and a sushi counter and that's about it. There was only one gal dining in when we came, but they were doing a bit of takeout/pick up during the lunch hour while we were there. And there was one very friendly guy cooking the food and preparing the sushi and waiting on us -- all by himself. Parking is limited right outside the restaurant which is in a very small strip of stores and another restaurant. It's located on the west side of Cypress Road (18th) just south of the Publix grocery store. We'd been here once many years ago. And we frequent Calypso across the street. The menu is huge. It's about 6 pages long and there are a lot of combos and options from which to choose. There are cooked items as well as sushi. It was hard to decide what to have. My husband chose one of their lunch specials. It turned out to be two pieces of salmon, two pieces of tuna, and two shrimp plus a California roll. I chose their salmon crunch roll. We both added a house salad to start. We were told that the ginger dressing was house made -- and it was quite good. I loved my salmon crunch roll. I'd asked for the salmon to be cooked through and it was. This roll has no rice, but it has salmon, asparagus, cream cheese, and crab meat all in a tempura batter. It was delicious with a bit of eel sauce. The prices here are pretty reasonable, as well. If you like to support local businesses and you are in the area, this place is well worth a visit. We know we will be back more often when craving sushi.

Ordered take out - super nice guy was there working when I picked up. The room was small, dark and felt dirty. And the food was not the best. I would not go back.

This place is amazing. Tiny little restaurant beautiful inside food is phenomenal very clean. The ambience is amazing. Our server is even better. We love it here. Definitely recommend it to anybody and will definitely be coming back. Once again I ate all the food but I got a picture this time.

Someone recommended this place and I was eager to try since I was yet to find a good quality sushi and hibachi in the area. This place had it all! Inexpensive, good quality food and great service. Will definitely start coming more often!

This is hands down the BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD. The man making the sushi was incredibly sweet, great sense of humor and even BROUGHT NAPKINS TO MY CAR when he realized we were eating in the car. 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend! New favorite spot.

Tried the Golden Bee and the Takato Smash. I think I liked the Takato Smash more. Tried a bunch of appetizers, the shrimp tempura was nice and crispy and salty. The bao buns- the buns themselves were soft and fluffy, duck tender and came apart very nicely. Rolls were great, sashimi tasted fresh, the lamb chops were cooked very well. Lobster udon- noodles were nice and chewy. Shared a shaved ice dessert- I forgot what it was called but it had frozen shaved milk and some strawberry mochi in the middle. Whatever it was, it was amazing. Service was good. Really the only downside was the obnoxiously loud group sitting next to us. They also threw crap that landed on our sashimi bowl. Can't control everything I guess. Outside of that however, fantastic experience.

One member of our dining party noticed this place as we were along federal highway so he looked them up and gave them a call. There was a table available, so we went over. The place is small but pleasant. The staff were nice enough and seated us right away. The downside - and the reason I rounded down to three stars - was that it appeared as though one waitress was covering the entire restaurant by herself. So it was a little slow to get tea, to take orders, and then to bring our bill. It was just enough of a nuisance where I decided to make it 3. Now about the food: my expectations weren't too high because many times doing sushi and Thai means that both are average. But that was not the case. We stuck to Thai and had a curry and a pad Thai (in my humble opinion the quality of the pad Thai says a lot about the restaurant). Both dishes were pretty good. The green curry had a lot of flavor and plenty of fresh vegetables. The pad thai looked like it might be oily but it was not, and the sauce was a very pleasant level of savory and sweet. I have to say I was impressed with the food overall.

The restaurant is clean, comfortable and they have great and interesting videos playing of sushi being made. Love Roll to start and it was amazing as usual.
