Excellent buffet place! Was surprised by how many people were in line. They give you a buzzer to let you know when they are ready to seat. It took about 30 minutes on a Saturday night. Inside: sushi lines the first section with sashimi, Nigiri, raw sushi, seaweed salad, etc. Flavor of the sushi was surprisingly good for a buffet. The other sections were hibachi and prepared foods, including beef and veg, pineapple chicken, which I assume is like sesame chicken and the classic crab Rangoon, eggrolls, wok noodles. I actually found the desserts to be my favorite. Their crème brûlée was on point as well as their Panna cotta. I shared a picture of the chocolate fountain because that is a fun touch. Overall, for the price point just a little bit above $30 a person I think it's a great deal and a fun occasional meal when you're looking for a variety!

Very nice place , the sushi bar looked amazing. I don't eat sushi but I do eat all the other stuff. Our server was quite prompt at getting our dishes cleared. The decor and set up of this restaurant is quite interesting. The pineapple chicken was amazing. We also enjoyed the french fries and chicken nuggets. Four of us ate for about 90 dollars. With a tip , we spent 110 dollars. For 4 seniors. Everything I ate I enjoyed. Green beans, panko fried vegetables, vegetable lomein, rice noodles, pineapple chicken, teriyaki chicken, garlic fried green beans and French fries.

I was craving Japanese buffet and I am so glad that I choose this place. I had the lunch special which is $20 per person all you can eat. The food was delicious here. Towards the left they had a hibachi area but you are not allowed to add the rice with it. Luis was the associate that served my mom and I and he was very nice. There is a lot of options in what to eat here and the dessert options were delicious as well. As for drinks my mom and I had a glass of water. Tina was the server and she was very nice. I didn't like one thing she did was to give us the check before we finished eating. I do want to go back to delicious and amazing experience. The food is soo amazing.

My Father-in-law took us here for lunch and it's a pretty solid AYCE restaurant for when you're feeling super hungry! It's tucked away in an outdoor shopping center but there's plenty of parking. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and sat in a cozy corner. There's tons of options from sushi, appetizers, desserts, and there's a Mongolian grill as well. For AYCE, the sushi was really good and I especially loved the roll with the kiwi on top. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. The restroom was well stocked and clean as well. Miyako is a great AYCE restaurant and I wouldn't shy away from coming back if I'm in the area again.

Arrived at 6:05 pm. There were people waiting outside. We checked in for 5 people. The hostess said 30-35 minutes. She was right on. We sat down at 6:40. We did review the Buffett while waiting. WOw. So many options!!! Our server Ling was very kind and efficient. We used the readily available gloves to handle the tongs! The sushi was being made and continuously turning. I'm usually not a fan of buffets but this place is awesome!!! They have something for everyone. Hibachi, traditional Chinese, sushi and. OH my. Save room for a few bites of dessert. Small perfect bites ! Loved the decor and the signs reminding people that all you can eat, does not mean waste!!! Try it. If you like it- go back for more. Don't heap up on something and waste! Seems like common sense........

I have been coming to this plaza weekly now for something or other. Something that got my attention was the long lines this restaurant always has. I knew it was a place I wanted to check out. The restaurant is busy, always. The staff does a phenomenal job of keeping a good flow going. It is an all-you-can-eat type of place with a set price. I came for the sushi and the rolls. I loved the rolls here. They had great combinations and tasted great. I was happy with everything I tried. I didn't get to try the sushi because I stuffed myself with rolls. I liked how on top the staff was on arranging and replenishing the stuff. Everything looked great. The customer service was great. The waitress came around a few times. I always love it when I am checked on. I had a good experience. I am glad I stopped in.

The food was fresh. The staff were friendly. One thing I wasn't fond of was we felt rushed. The ambiance was nice.

so this is got to be one of the best freshest well put together all you can eat sushi/Chinese places I have ever gone to the selection is huge and since it's always busy, everything is so fresh the oysters are being shucked right in front of you so you know it's gonna be good. we went with a large party for a birthday it was 13 of us and they accommodated us. service was on point. i've been to all you can eat sushi places but this one is my favorite if you're ever in Pompano and you're looking for good seafood, sushi, Chinese even hibachi station and the best dessert definitely check this place out

It was great to come back to Miyako after a few years of absence. The weekday lunch is now $18.99 pp and guests have 1.5 hours to enjoy the AYCE buffet. I found the flavors this time, bolder and better than last time. Maybe they have a new chef. The variety of dishes and sushi was very good and the service was attentive as well....our server picked up the plates minutes after we would set them aside. Overall a great option for fresh sushi, salads, Chinese food, Hibachi, desserts and much more...

I really enjoyed this place. The food was outstanding even the pre-cooked food like the lobster and crab, the hibachi was fantastic, and the star of the show was the sushi Island. The service and ambience are what you can expect from and all you can eat buffet. Everyone was friendly and smiling, which we all loved. The restaurant itself was very clean and very well kept! No weird fish smells! We appreciated the fact that we always had fresh food, we saw restaurants staff removing food that had sat for too long. Some other buffets should take note. The snow crab legs were cold only. We really would've loved to have had nice hot steaming crab legs. But that only cost them one half star. Maybe a small butter hot pot at the table could meet in the middle... [edit] I forgot to mention the chocolate fountain at the dessert station! Super luxurious and sure to be a hit with the kids and the kid in you. ;)

Maibel R.

Everything was so fresh & clean! Service was great. So many options to choose from. Lots of different varieties you don't often see at other Japanese buffets. A new fav and one of the few buffets that the desserts are actually really good which is unheard of. Looking forward to going again!

The polenta is no longer served at the table, but it isn't really missed. The salad bar is well-stocked with fresh greens and several savory sides that are always plentiful. The meats are served frequently and are always cooked to your preferred temperature upon request. For dessert, my favorites remain the passion fruit mousse and the brigadeiro cake--they even brought me the mousse with chocolate sauce when I asked! The atmosphere is private and cozy. It isn't ostentatious, yet it feels special enough for a celebration or a nice casual dinner. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The dining room is very large and plain and not at all fancy. Our server was polite but she forgot to order my appetizer and didn't provide the separate checks that we requested. We all had versions of the all-you-can-eat scallops. And we never got a second plate because the first one was filled with about a dozen or more large ones. And no matter what special you get, you are allowed some catfish with it. So, of course, we each had a fillet. It was the best part of the meal. While the scallops were decent, we were not fans because they were fried, and a bit dry. The fried catfish was crunchy but flavorful. As to the sides, the cole slaw is good. The collard greens were average. The baked sweet potato was very mushy, and the French fries needed to be crisper. The hush puppies were addictive. If you like large or plentiful portions, add a star, because your belly will surely be full. I couldn't finish my scallops or the extra piece of catfish that I had requested. And you're not allowed any doggie bags with the all-you-can-eat offers. We certainly didn't have room to try any desserts. Two entrees at $35.99 each, one alcoholic drink, tax, and tip was $115.
