It was a little weird for me seeing a bakery that individually packages all the treats but after seeing this is commonplace on my last few trips out of the country, I decided to try it anyway. Everything was very bright and flavorful. They had a lot of sweet and savory selections. I neglected to write down what I ordered so no specific recommendations but more of a "give the place a try" recommendation. It's a nice place to grab a pastry with a friend or friends. Please note that because of COVID-19, the store hours and selections may be limited. There are so many things we love here. Typically, we grab a quick pastry & a latte while hanging out with friends. We also often get their special birthday cake for that few special fiends. We like the matcha green tea and passion fruit ones the best. The rest are pretty good too though. this is the northernmost point of paris morning bakeries (and possibly any asian style bakery) in south florida, so i willingly make the 45-minute pilgrimage down for special occasions like mother's day. my mom will only eat asian style cakes, which is exactly what this place serves up: cakes that are fluffy and spongy, not too sweet and not too heavy on the cream. just like other asian style bakeries, you can also get your run-of-the-mill buns and breads like cream buns, red bean buns, twisted sugar donuts, sponge cakes, almond croissants, and bread loaves. they even have portuguese egg tarts! (which are basically egg custard tarts but with a more crème brûlée look -- a staple of macau, which used to be a portuguese colony.) but i also love that paris morning bakery has something of its own: the hamster bread! they're so cute and i haven't seen them anywhere else. i expected it to taste like nothing and for it to just be bread on the inside, but the inside had a sweet paste similar to a mooncake's. this bakery knows what it's doing! i also really like the raspberry cream mini buns -- they're small but dangerously addicting as a pack! the macarons are also pretty neat and sizable. they're a little creamier than i like, but i appreciate the wide assortment of flavors like green tea and birthday cake. i was only a little disappointed that they don't seem to serve zip bops at this location anymore, but it's still worth the trip every time. there's so much variety to enjoy here, it would be impossible not to find something to like. read more

The taste and quality is very inconsistent but it's mediocre at its best. Some days their cakes are overly sweet, sometimes they are not sweet at all I have to sprinkle sugar on my cake at home, that's pretty stupid. Even half off, their bread is not worth the price. I forgot what they are called but their waffle with whipped cream on top is so bland too, just buy some waffle and whipped cream at a grocery store and create your own for 1/3 the price, it would be better. The Korean bakeries love to add in their bakeries' names Paris, baguette, cutesy whimsical name, and Morning. I drove by and saw the words Paris and morning and had a high suspicion that I had found my first Asian/korean bakery in the Palm Beach area. As someone who lived in South Florida for 4-5 years, I can tell you that outside of Weston, Florida, these bubble tea Asian airy bakery places are not easy to find. So, seeing one in Boca Raton in the midst of ritzy country clubs, Italian/South American steak houses, and otherwise culturally Floridian area made me pleasantly surprised and also impressed that they managed to do well. Location: is in a strip mall with parking lot, but parking is actually hard to find because it's a busy mall. Offerings were your typical Asian bakery faire. I will explain the culture of Asian patisserie and bakes to those who may find some of the findings here not to their expectation. First, breads and bakes are known for leaning on side of airy, light, almost "stale" feel. The gooey and moist in Southern bakes are not a thing in Asian bakes. So, if you're biting into something that is not moist and gooey like the sheet cakes of Publix, do not ding them. It's a cultural difference. Most sponges and bakes do not have much sugar- airy, flakey is light is what they are going for. Flavor: Asian bakes usually go for safe refreshing flavors like fruits, chocolate, coffee, and matcha. you will see more asian traditional flavors like red bean (Azuki) and green bean. Try it- it's mealy, sweet, and unlike anything you've had before. Asian faires also often blend savory and sweet together; so do not be offset if you see meats, corn, chicken, alongside glazes. Aesthetics:Asian bakes often take from European French Patisserie- each one should be neat and lovely to look at. Colors are natural- you won't find glitter, sprinkles, and colorful things here. They are often your chocolate, fruits, and breads baked to the correct brown and crisp do most of the talking. Drinks: you obviously come for teas or bubble tea. I recommend jasmine and more asian flavors. Black tea here in Asian places are ok, but you're here for more tradition. Try anything citrusy like yuzu or citron tea. If you like creamy, go for the taro or matcha. Avoid chocolate bubble tea; that is just not natural and frankly, sickly sounding. A bubble tea is made of tapioca pearls that are black and chewy; do you swallow them without chewing. The first experience may be strange, but that's the fun! Also, bubble teas are very very filling because the tapioca expands in your belly. Do not exercise immediately after a bubble tea. read more

Paris Morning Bakery is an Asian baked good store. If you are desperate for Parisian bakery items your best bet is a prepacked croissant. We were looking for desserts to bring to a dinner. There were about 16 feet of refrigerated case for four whole cakes, one cake for slices and cake pops. Was a very sad presentation. The sliced cake was a color I've never seen in a cake before and not appetizing looking. This is a Korean bakery with a French name. It was named the best Asian bakery by the Sun Sentinnel. They have two locations in Lauderdale and Davie and Boca Raton is their newest store. They are best known for their Korean bread influenced by French pastry recipes. The idea of a French Korean caught my attention and I finally got a chance to check it out. The interior looks like your typical coffee house with couches and table seating. K-Pop was featured in a video playing on one wall, the other wall had a selection of wrapped baked goods. Some were distinctly French like a croissant and some were Korean like a small hamster shaped bun filled with red bean paste. You can pick what you want and bring it to the counter to pay. They also sell cakes (only the red velvet or maybe it was fruit filled one was available by the slice. I tried to ask what it was but I never got an answer), coffee, bubble teas, bingsoo which is a shaved ice dessert with macarons, bubble tea, condensed milk, syrup, powder, and cake, zipbob which is a Korean dish of meat and vegetables in a bowl, and macarons. I picked a chocolate croissant and the hamster bun from the baked goods and ordered a honey dew melon bubble tea smoothie with tapioca pearls. Everything came to $12. The bubble tea was delicious with the taste of melon but it was so sweet. I could only drink half. I tried the hamster bun and was disappointed. It was like eating raw cookie dough. Although extremely cute and perfect for Instagram I could only eat a bite of it. I saved the chocolate croissant for breakfast the next morning. It had a sweet paste inside and a chocolate drizzle. I prefer the ones with chocolate inside. Everyone in the store were the right demographic for BTS. It seems like a hangout for kids. It was designed to cater to the younger crowd. I don't know if I am just too old for them or didn't order the right thing because I did not enjoy my culinary experience here. My main complaint is that everything is too sweet. As it was my first time here and I as unfamiliar with the concept I would have benefited from a little explanation but the employees were not forth coming. What is a Korean French bakery? The two pastries I got weren't bad, but they weren't anything I'd want to order again. And I would have had a warmer reception and service from robots. If my friend felt old among the rich teeny-boppers lounging at every table here, then I felt absolutely ancient. No greetings; no offer to explain; no welcome. So we fended for ourselves and read labels and made guesses. We both got a couple pastries -- one to go and one to eat in. Her eat in one was so cute -- a little hamster looking something. But it didn't taste very good and neither did the one she took home. I got a creamy filled bun (a "cream puff") assuming it had white whipped cream filling inside, but it was yellow pastry cream sort of like in an eclair. It seemed a bit stale, too, but that might be how it is supposed to taste? For drinks, I got a hot black tea. When it was delivered the tea bag had been steeping for some time and it was so strong, I thought they'd given me black coffee. I had a few sips and poured it out. My friend's bubble tea looked a pretty color, but it was way too sweet. She couldn't drink it either. In addition to baked goods, they have something called "bingsoo" in different flavors. I just looked it up to find out it's a shaved ice dessert. They don't explain it on their printed materials or signs, either. Then they have "zip bop" which is beef or chicken or pork or eel in a small bowl. Again, no where do they explain what this is or what is in the dishes. This place is a chain with 5 current locations and a few more openings to come in other areas. Came here for dessert and unfortunately know very little about Korean food/sweets so it took me a while to peruse the menu. I settled on a chocolate cake and patbingsoo (shaved ice) to share with two other foodies. We ordered the green tea bingsoo only to be told they didn't have any green tea ice cream..bummer. We subbed in red bean ice cream for it instead. The serving is huge and easily shared between three and still be full. It kind of reminds me of halo-halo, a Filipino dessert of hodge podge items. The chocolate cake was spongy and moist, but it didn't have much chocolatey flavor that I was hoping for. I was stuffed by the end, so I couldn't try the lavender boba tea that I've seen rave reviews about, so I guess I'll come back for it. They also have cakes that you can only order whole and not by the slice that looked beautiful and worth trying. They serve savory food as well (rice bowls with meat) here which I wanted to try, but the portion sizes look like a snack and not something that would fill me up for a meal. Heart eyes all across the skies for this place!! If you haven't taken the time to visit this little gem, you are missing out on a lovely place. This little bakery has pastries of all sort and cakes that look almost too good to eat. I was handed a "get a free bubble tea" flyer while walking out of publix about a month ago or so for this place and I finally remembered to go. The staff is super helpful in explaining the menu if you need help or have any questions.. or if you're like me and can't decide what you want because you want everything. Wow, have I been missing out because now I know how good their tea is! (Disclaimer: I'm obsessed with bubble tea) I tried the taro bubble tea smoothie and it was so good! (Taro has an acquired taste, so if you're not a green tea/ likes to try new & different flavors, I wouldn't recommend this being your first thing to try). My friend maddie got the mango & strawberry bubble tea smoothie and hers was super refreshing and tasted much like a regular smoothie with bubbles in the bottom. You can have the teas over ice with milk or you can get them blended. I usually get them over ice, but I changed it up with the smoothie for today. I will have to say, this is probably the best bubble tea I have ever had. Right now they have a promotion going on of 30% off all cakes! Korean pop music playing. The only thing I don't like is they don't honor the happy hour discounts that the other stores (such as Lauderhill) has. They have one pre-selected item discounted a day. This place is not for everyone, as I have read the reviews. Without previous exposure to the French inspired Korean type bakery, you may not understand the concept. However, out on the west coast, I've ventured into many "Paris Baguette" bakeries that have a history from Korea. This one in Boca is a tiny version of such. I enjoyed their Davie location more for their larger variety of pastries. So, if one doesn't understand a concept or product, you can always ask, like I did about their showcase of cakes. The wonderful cashier explained everyone of them to me. What excellent customer service! I will definitely consider a special cake from here. We ended up getting pastries....my favorite, red bean donut and my son's new favorite blueberry cream cheese roll. I've never had a smoothie boba tea. So, I decided to try one of the bakery's favorites, taro with boba. It's definitely an acquired taste. I usually order the traditional milk tea with boba. But, I enjoyed the cold smoothie. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. These shops are the new hangout cafes for the 20somethings. Although I wasn't familiar with their music, my son thought it was great. Anyhow, I do appreciate businesses like these, who are pioneers in venturing into neighborhoods to allow patrons like me to enjoy a tiny bit of Asian culture without having to drive 45 mins into another county or to visit Atlanta or San Francisco. I've been here several times! And the pastries on the open shelf are SOOOO good!!! I always get a variety but it is so pricy! I come back because I couldn't find a Chinese bakery that sells more or less the same things but way cheaper. I can normally buy the red bean buns or the coconut buns for 1-2$ in Chinese bakeries. So the prices are not my favorite... but the baked goods are yummy! I've bought the tiramisu and the matcha mousse. Both SUPER thick and gets stuck to the roof of my mouth. Not the most pleasant thing I've eaten. I'd say stay away from that. The cakes on the other hand are amazing. Nice and soft and not too sweet. Much less sugar content than American cakes, so if you want your cake super sweet, don't get these, but they are so pretty and good! They keep advertising several types of bingsoo for months now but they only have 1 type of ice cream. I don't know why they keep advertising different flavors. Their bingsoo is good, but I think it's a way to sell their products... Their service is on and off. Some days they are great! Other days I don't feel welcome. So I took away 1 star for their inconsistent service. And another star for the combination of advertising several flavors of bingsoo and their THICCCC mousse/ tiramisu. I was thrilled to check this place out. When I heard they carry some of my favorite pastries, I was overjoyed! This bakery is located in a plaza with lots of parking. It's pretty decent sized inside and very roomy. Lots of natural sunlight coming in and very clean. They have a decent variety of items that will make you want to get all. The cakes and some of the pastries are so beautiful and cute but most importantly, it's delicious!! They sell a variety of other things like boba, rice bowls, ice cream, breads. Ah, loved this place! It was a great change of flavors than the same old dessert places. My gf and I first had the chocolate cake. We've never had Korean cake before so we didn't know what to expect. At first bite I noticed it was more soft and light but packed with flavor. Since it's so light it makes you want more. I feel like I could've ate 3 of those slices but overall I was satisfied with that 1. We also got the lavender milk tea boba. I love boba and we wanted to try a new flavor. I loved it but next time I would go back to Taro. The sweet cream bread and the red bean donut were amazing! Highly recommend them. Hallelujah! An Asian bakery in Palm Beach! Having lived in Philly for four years, I was spoiled with Asian bakery goods in the Chinatown there, so I'm ecstatic to finally get my fill down south. Somewhat misleading in name (although they do sell macarons), Paris Morning Bakery has egg tarts, buns, and cakes on the bakery side as well as boba, patbingsu, and savory options like bibimbap. I tried the pizza bun (which they accommodatingly heated up upon request) and a mouse-shaped, lotus-filled pastry. Both were delicious! However, I was disappointed in the boba. I had the lavender milk tea which wasn't as creamy as I'd like and the boba was rather mushy. Although the boba was a bust, I'd definitely come back for the pastries and because the space is a great study spot. Friendly service, free wifi, and there's a large table that can easily fit 4-6 people if you're looking for a place to get work done in the company of friends. They do have k-pop videos projected against one of the walls that mighttt be distracting, but I enjoyed them as background music. So happy there's one that's literally 10 min away from my house. Trouble!!! I typically only come for the bingsoo but didn't have dinner yet so decided to try their zipbops. I was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. The spicy pork was super flavorful and the perfect amount of heat and sweetness and saltiness. I only ate half of it because I really wanted the bingsoo. Got the lychee one this time and it was delicious. Ate the rest of my zipbop today for lunch and I want more for dinner. Not going to be good for my bank account. Since we went during dinner time, there weren't that many pastries left but they did have a buy one get one deal. Score!! I come here all the time for my boba never really have a problem in the day but my last 2 night time experiences were horrible. Don't waste your gas to come here if it's in the last hour of closing. It was august 30th. I got inside exactly at 9:40pm, mind you they close at 10:00pm. So 20 minutes before closing at 9:41pm It was time to order and the guy turns around and says I can't make your drinks because it's after 20min. I first heard of this bakery from my friends who lived in Davie - and I am so glad they decided to open a branch here in Boca Raton!! There's not (if any) a lot of choices in the area here for Korean breads or even boba tea drinks, so their presence is very much welcomed here. Location is great! They are in the same plaza as Tijuana Flats and Party City so parking is not really a problem. Going inside the bakery, the seating area is very welcoming and decorated very cutely. They have a projector looping various Korean music videos that makes it clear that this is a hangout place. Overall, the store is very clean, with nice furniture and the attention to detail can be seen clearly. Going with the actual breads, I love that they have samples for some of the breads but I do wish they'd have them earlier as most of the breads arrive at the store around 11, not when they open. They are typical Korean style breads with savory and sweet choices available. Something kind of interesting I thought they had was the zip-bops or basically a rice bowl with a choice of meats. I had the eel and the spicy pork bulgogi. Both were tasty but just a tad bit small portion wise for the price. I also tried the boba drinks but they're clearly powder made and was really nothing special. For dessert, I had the green tea patbingsoo and this taste awesome! I love the chewy Mochi, red bean, and they were not skimpy on the matcha powder at all. The ice shavings were tasty and not watery at all. This was probably my favorite thing from this place. Overall, I probably would go back to this place for a dessert stop or if I am craving some breads but I'm glad a place like this finally exists in the boca area. read more
