    Chicken martini

I visited Dorsia with my mom and sister on a Thursday evening at 6:30. The front parking lot was very busy and cars were lined up for valet . I'm not always the most patient waiting , so I decided to leave the front area and found parking behind the restaurant. Once inside our table was right by the front and it was a full house inside. I'm pretty sure we had a reservation so I would recommend making one. It was dimly lit and diners were dressed nicely. I had heard it was a bit fancy so I dressed accordingly. There was warm bread on the table with olives in olive oil. For Appetizers, we had The Eggplant stack And Fried Goat cheese and spinach salad . Both were delicious and enjoyed by all. We wanted a salad and something different than a Caesar , house or wedge - all offered here. The fried goat cheese salad was unique and very tasty . For Entrees, we had PAPPARDELLE BOLOGNESE, Flounder FRANCESE, and Chicken martini. I tried a little of each. The flounder was perfectly cooked with a side of vegetables and potatoes. You can choose pasta as a side . The chicken martini had a light crunch and I enjoyed it throughly . For dessert, we had a this sliced chocolate and vanilla ice cream with a hard chocolate shell and whipped cream that we shared . The service was great - dishes picked up , water glasses filled as well as wine. Our server Andy was attentive, knowledgeable and on point ! We all enjoyed dinner very much and will be back. Prices are somewhat moderate with main dishes in the $30's range.

We had a reservation and I was glad we did. Our waiter was friendly and we got our Titos and club soda and beer. Then they bring you bread and olives. Very nice. We ordered some appetizers to share- caesar salad, baked clams (whole clams, seasoned breadcrumbs, lemon sauce) - delicious. Branzino (butterflied), pasta special (with clams and sausage) and veal chop. Plus lemon cannolis which my daily loved. Everything tasted very fresh and that was good. It is a small restaurant on the east side of Federal Highway. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Give it a try -you won't be sorry!

My friend recommended Dorsia as one of his family's favorite places to eat, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. We started with the burrata and prosciutto appetizer, which was light and fresh. They also served some really nice bread with a soft middle and a sturdy crust, perfect for dipping in seasoned oil with olives. For our entrees, I got the squid ink linguine, and my friend got the gnocchi with vodka sauce. Both pastas had a fantastic texture - you can absolutely tell that these are made fresh. I don't even like gnocchi usually, but I'd order these. The seafood in my squid ink pasta was all cooked perfectly too, and there was a ton of it. Their tomato sauce on my pasta was really nice too - it was well-seasoned and not too acidic or heavy. For dessert, I got a slice of tiramisu and a cappuccino, and both were delicious. I liked how the tiramisu was served like a slice instead of a square, with a row of ladyfingers around the outside like a crust. I'd never seen it that way, but it was really pleasant. This is a classy little place where the owners seem quite involved. They were very friendly and it looked like they knew a lot of the clientele that were visiting on the night I went. Given the ambiance and the fact that this is in Boca, I'd say prices were fair. I made a reservation for their Thanksgiving dinner for my family this year, so looking forward to seeing how that experience goes!

Make a reservation days in advance. We were lucky enough to sit at the bar. NY Italian fine dining warm colors. Interesting wine glass lamps They have white sangria ( hand muddled ) SO GOOD!! Sausage with big fat chunks of garlic pickled hot peppers potatoes so good They make fresh squid ink pasta, pappardelle etc. Make sure you check their specials. They let me make my own dish butter, spinach white wine garlic and oil fresh pasta with grilled octopus.

Well, we found another favorite to come for good wine and great food. Before going to a play that night, we made a reservation here to have dinner. They allowed us to sit at the bar, and immediately were brought menus and place setting for dinner. They have a good selection of wines and they are good at recommending based on what you like, and allow you to taste before committing to a glass. Really appreciated that. When your order is placed, they bring some bread and olives. The olives were delicious! We placed our order and while we waited we added a half Caesar salad. That came out really fast and was really good. Tasted fresh with the right amount of dressing to not drown the romaine lettuce in it. I ordered an appetizer for dinner, the steamed clams and sausage and added the burnt broccoli on the side. I must recommend that side of broccoli, it was SO good. The burnt / charred taste is amazing and the broccoli was perfectly cooked to still have that crunch. I also very much liked the clams and sausage and was very happy and full with my meal. The restaurant is not that big, it has a nice dim ambiance, and all the staff works hard, fast and in a friendly manner. As I said, we found another place we're sure to visit again and again.

We really hadn't tried a nice new place in a while. I was prepared for it to be fairly average, but Dorsia showed us her best side. We stopped in for dinner last week before going to a show later. We had reservations but when we saw a couple spots open at their beautiful bar we had them set us up there. A couple placemats later, we each had ordered a drink and perused the menu. They stuff their olives there, so I took the opportunity to have a nice dirt martini. And it was nice, and plenty dirty. It's a classic steak house energy, in all the best ways. There is evening lighting, sophisticated waitstaff, and an older crowd that is happy to chat it up on a night out. I got the jumbo shrimp and added side salad. I can honestly say both were perfectly done. It was our first time at Dorsia, but we aim to be back soon to to make it a little more of a tradition(Our show later was "Fiddle on the Roof").

this restaurants been around for about 11 years I have never been there friends of ours suggested . that we try it. They've been there and liked it. I must agree. It is a very good restaurant we had wedge salad chopped. It was good ( but I actually like the wedge hole so I can do it myself.) whole Bronzino it was delicious. It came with vegetables and potatoes or pasta. Flounder, Francese everyone enjoyed. All entrées come with vegetable and pasta or potatoes pasta PappBolognese.was good bit heavy chicken Parmesan was delicious ricotta cheesecake was just as good as I always thought it could be !! reservations are a must full bar valet service moderate to expensive

Nice place located on Federal Highway in Boca . Valet parking only really . You will need a reservation for sure . Seating inside or outside . Hostess is super lady and always very nice . Food is good and ambiance is nice . We sat by waiter station , last banquet seating . Waiters were a bit loud sometimes . The fish franchise's was delicious , the short ribs too and my other friend had the lentil soup and a giant meatball . It's not super expensive but normal now . . Try it . It's a local Boca place .

    Chicken Alla Sofia

My first time in Dorsia and I thought it was overall a good dining experience. The waiter was excellent, a bottle of wine was somewhat fair priced and seating was comfortable - though the restaurant is a little staid for me but that's just a personal preference. Also mixed drinks were excellent as was the bread. We had a few specials and they were fine but not great. The pasta were nicely cooked in a beef with pappardelle sauce but I thought it was a little lacking in flavor and the same applies to a Shrimp special with pasta. A menu listed Chicken item was very good but would have better had it not been doused with so much oil and or wine. Despite a few deficiencies, I still enjoyed the restaurant. There are many Italian Restaurants on Federal Highway in Boca and Dorsia is one of the better choices.

    Veal Parmesan on the bone.

The only small downside was that the dessert isn't complimentary, which felt a little unusual for a birthday celebration, but it didn't take away from the experience. I wasn't thrilled with the lack of attention from the staff overall, but I did appreciate the birthday moment and the complimentary valet (just tip the valet and you're good to go). I'll likely come back to try their happy hour and give it another shot. (it's a hit pricey so maybe that's a better way to go!)
