Talk about excellent service. I had a reservation for a Wednesday night. We were sat on the patio towards the back. It was actually a little loud, but most of the noise was coming from the inside of the restaurant. The patio is really beautiful and well covered. We had two servers throughout our entire meal, which was actually very well orchestrated. We were constantly being checked on, and the servers made an effort to get to know us. They really went above and beyond bringing a water bowl for our dog and bringing a pitcher with water for flowers. On Wednesday night, they have half off bottles of wine that are under $99. We ordered a bottle of white and it was only $24. For food, we started with the brussel sprouts, which were perfectly sweet and savory. The brussel sprouts come with goat cheese, but they were nice enough to put the cheese on the side to accommodate our dietary needs. For entrées, we ordered pear pasta and the pear salad. The pear pasta wasn't as good as I remembered it being, but the pears in the salad had no flavor, so I think in general, the pears were just out of season. The food though was still really great and everything was very fresh. When our waitresses came to cash us out they took each of our cards, stated our names and then made an effort to remember our names. Overall, the food was really good. Had to work on a Sunday so we wanted to end the day with a cocktail. Prezzo has Happy Hour 7 days a week until 6 and it was a beautiful day so the outdoor bar was perfect. Started with a Lavender Sky Martini- it's a refreshing twist on a Lychee Martini with a splash. Added a Charmer Pizza - pepperoni, mozzarella, whipped ricotta, red onion, fresh oregano, hot honey, red pepper flakes. Crisp Crust and the perfect amount of sweet and spice. This place has really gone downhill. They are now charging for bread. It's hard to imagine an Italian place charges over $30 an entree and has to nickel and dime you for bread. Absolutely nothing is complimentary here. They don't even give you salt and pepper at your table, nor grated Parmesan cheese. Don't even ask about sweeteners. This penny pinching place gives you nothing. To add insult to injury, the service is worse than what one would expect at Applebee's. Of course Applebee's is about a third of the price. The server was very slow, she didn't offer to pack her meals and didn't even provide a bag for the takeout. I chose this place to host my mom's 80th birthday and we were not disappointed. We decided to do a cocktail hour outside since it was April and the weather was fantastic- a tad bit hot but it is florida. The cocktail hour consisted of a few types of pizzas and meatballs , wine and water . Then our party of about 23 people moved into their private wine room where the table was set . We had balloons delivered , I had a slide show with pics playing on the Tv in the room , we added centerpieces and I brought a birthday cake in. Dinner was served family style . For salads , we had CHOPPED HOUSE, STRAWBERRY SALAD, and PEAR SALAD all were delicious. For ENTREES we chose, CHICKEN FRANCESE,EGGPLANT PARMESAN, andTUSCAN SALMON. Every table was taken, yet it wasn't loud. Our server, Jalynn (sp?), was fantastic and so patient with my 101 questions. We will ask for her the next time we go. Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Prezzo. Located in a plaza off of Military Trl, this spot is a nice Italian treat! When you are sat down, you are asked if you'd like bread and butter. They bring you fresh baked rosemary bread, almost like a focaccia texture, a bulb head of roasted garlic, and butter. I loved the garlic. It's so good because it's caramelized so it has a lot of depth and richness. We ordered the french fries, margarita pizza, and the crispy chicken cesar salad. I loved the Cesar salad with the crispy chicken. The chicken is well seasoned and perfectly cooked. It was not overly fried or greasy. Two weeks ago, my wife went with friends and her Chicken Marsala was extremely salty and others at the table had similar complaints. We gave the place another chance last night, but the Shrimp Francese was far too salty to eat. I sent it back, and the replacement was just as bad. By the time the replacement arrived, everyone else at the table had finished, so I didn't want to send it back again and ended up eating only part of it. To make matters worse, we were charged for two orders of Shrimp Francese, which is simple careless. Our server disappeared for over 10 minutes when we were trying to address the bill, so I asked for the manager. A young thin manager came over but never returned to follow up. Based on this experience, I would expect these issues to be addressed quickly, or I don't see the restaurant lasting. I had heard negative feedback from friends at Boca West but didn't listen and today when I shared our experience with people in my own community, they were also sharing their similar feedback and saying the quality has declined and they don't go anymore. Furthermore, charging for bread that's just average, and not even proper Italian bread, is another questionable choice. Neither the server nor the manager showed much concern or offered an apology. I was leas than happy with our service this time. We had a server that it was basically her 1st or 2nd day on the floor. We had a omkeep reminding her we want the garlic with the bread. They basically brought our appetizers (caesar salad, calamari) and then a minute later brought out the main entrees of italian sausage pizza and chicken milanese. We had to send the entrees back so we could eat our appetizers in peace. The timing was off and we then explained to the waitress that it made no sense to have to all come out at the same time! I took my restaurant group of 8 people to Prezzo on Sunday night at 5:30 to enjoy happy hour bites and drinks. My intention was to start with happy hour and then have dinner. The restaurant wants you to either sit at the bar -inside or out- or at the high top tables. I requested a regular table outside because of a handicapped person and with a little persuasion they agreed to help us. The round table was perfect for our group to meet and get to know each other. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and did a great job accommodating us. Over the time we were there , more people arrived and it was quite noisy. Many had cocktails and wine with burgers, fries, pizza etc at discounted prices. I enjoyed a poached pear salad with a grilled salmon on top for my dinner. I try to eat on the healthy side. Paul had a chicken Marsala entree. I felt there could have had more food choices. But we loved the setting and service. They moved us to a new location where there was a little breeze There was a set menu and we were just waiting for the weather to change, but it didn't feel good the service staff was very nice with us but nowhere near the ambience which was expected. For example in the past the restaurant would have had a flower for the women there was no one to talk about the food but they would have been very nice to take our food orders. I was just there yesterday with two friends. They changed the menu and lunch specials. I used to order the Milanese chicken and salad and my lunch was under 18 with a drink plus taxes. Now the same plate would be 8 dollars more without the drink. We ended up having the special of the day which is a burger. I asked the server if they had any healthy options or if I could replace the fries with the salad. She did not know. The place was kind of empty. Ordered Uber Eats and got the spicy rigatoni vodka. The pasta and sauce themselves were really tasty. I'm a stickler when it comes to vodka sauce because I have my own recipe I prefer, I just wasn't in the mood to cook tonight. The issue was that the pasta was so dry - they hardly used any sauce. Like the takeout container had simply no sauce at the bottom so most of your bites only tasted like the noodle and no actual vodka sauce. It was really strange and such a shame because otherwise this would have been my new favorite vodka sauce in the area. We had a wonderful Sunday dinner tonight. Wonderful ambiance, food and service. We sat on the patio area and it was absolutely beautiful. Great ambiance and a fun vibe and loved that the patio was covered in case of inclement weather. Our server Dominic was wonderful and gave great service. We loved the bread served with a whole head of delicious roasted garlic. In addition the chicken meatballs with Pomodoro and whipped ricotta were delicious a total must try! I loved the 368 miles to cuba drink which is a traditional daquiri. For our meals we got the shrimp picatta special, chicken Marsala, and the pollo balsámico. We absolutely loved everything!
