Ugh we had a really disappointing experience here. We flew into FL from out of state and arrived hungry for some real food. It was late and there weren't many places open, this was one of the few - it's open until 2am. We decided to check it out. We arrived around 1:20am, late at night, and asked to be seated. We were a group of 5. It was surprisingly busy here, fun ambiance, and lots of filled tables. A young 20-something crowd was primarily dining or drinking here. After asking to be seated, the hostess - Addison - looked a little stressed and said it will be a minute until she could clear a table for us. We said no problem. She told us, you'll need to put in your food orders within 10 minutes / 1:30am bc the kitchen will be closing and they're very strict with timing. We said ok and I asked to see a menu, that way we can place our order immediately upon seating. She handed us all late night menus. After about a minute, she said, unfortunately the kitchen will be closing at 1:30am, so you won't be able to order any food. We expressed our confusion based on what she told us just a minute prior, and based on the fact that she just handed us menus to look at, and she said there's nothing she can do, we won't be able to order food at the table, but she said we could order food at the bar by 1:30. But by this point, she was talking to us with such a sassy and condescending tone. I'm talking: YOU. CAN. ORDER. AT. THE. BAR. With glaring eyes. Wow. Okay. So we went to the bar to quickly put in our food order. After a few minutes, our family member went to check with the same hostess to see if our table was ready and she said she was clearing one off for us. After a few more mins, we went back to the hostess, hoping our table was ready after eyeing that the one she was clearing off was ready and clean. Hilariously, she told us with such a stern tone, unfortunately I'm unable to seat you because we don't seat anyone past 1:30am and it is now 1:38. We all were incredulous and flabbergasted. We reminded her of the facts... we came to her at 1:20, she told us to order at the bar so we did so, and now she's saying we can't be sat?! She said she thought we were going to sit at the bar. We continued to remind her of the facts, and the fact that she herself told us she was getting a table ready for us, and at this point asked to speak to a manager. The manager came and we explained to him what took place. While explaining what happened, he remained completely flat in expression (perhaps he was thinking what did we do?!) and while he apologized, his apology felt more like a "by the way" or an afterthought apology instead of truly and genuinely apologizing for the insanity of what took place and the outright horrific customer service we experienced from the hostess. He sat us at a table and a waiter helped us from that point on. From the receipt, I believe his name is Barry. Barry was actually great and frankly I thought he was better at customer service and had a more genuine apology for what happened than the manager. He's the reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one. So now the food. We got chips and guac. These were okay, the guac was a little too creamy but the chips were crispy so it was a fine starter. We got all 3 late night tacos. $3 each. Tinga de pollo, carnitas, and beef. They come on flour tortillas. They're all pretty mid and coming from LA where you can find $1 tacos from a taco truck that will blow your mind they're so good, these didn't hold up. Their ground beef one especially is the worst of the bunch, it feels very basic and like something someone could easily make at home. The carnitas was the only one I somewhat enjoyed. And I didn't like the flavor of the tinga de pollo at all. We got a guava habanero margarita, $6 on their late night happy hour. It was pretty good and had a nice presentation and color. I was surprised and frankly a little disappointed that the manager didn't take a single thing off our check. We only got two drinks amongst our whole group - one glass of wine and one margarita. And they were happy hour pricing. It would have been a kind gesture and would have gone a long way to have at least comped us those two items. Even if all of us got drinks, it would be the right thing to do to comp us something. I was expecting more. Clearly this place is still thriving based on its popularity when we were there, my guess is it's because it's one of the only places that stay open and serve food late. And the ambiance is quite nice. But the customer service we experienced, disappointing. The drinks are good, but the food is subpar and I wouldn't pay regular price for their food given its quality, I would only come during happy hour pricing. Though I was curious to check out more of their margarita flavors, the customer service soured my/our experience to the point where we certainly won't be back.

This was my first time in el Camino in Boca , and compare to the one in Fort Lauderdale it's bigger with plenty of seating , but its lacks on customer service and friendliness from the servers. It was four people in our table and I ask for simple water with lemon to start, and the whole time I was there I never received a cup of water until I had to get up a get it at the bar when asked for the server name after they realized they messed up they refused to give me a name .. my food a quesadilla took two hours to come out and it was 30 mins after everyone's food . And the receipt for sever name show : zCatering ... I wanted to like it .. but customer server was just a bit disappointing.

Richard Was an excellent bartender. He offered us excellent happy hour food items and told us when happy hour would begin. He offered us great service and big pours during happy hour specials!

Full portion of the chicken quesadilla is large enough to share as an app with others. Also pictured is their smoked pineapple margarita it was very heavy on the smoke side so if you're not into smoke opted for the pineapple coconut.

I am the biggest el Camino advocate!!! My favorite Mexican restaurant chain in south Florida. Each el Camino location varies slightly in ambiance but without a doubt the Boca raton location is my favorite! The outside bar attached to the happy hour area is incredible. And the happy hour and late night happy hour is the best that I've ever been to. For the price point and amount of food and drinks you get, it's so worth it. Even when not on happy hour, el Caminos prices are extremely reasonable. My favorite is the carnitas and barbacoa tacos. I also loveeee getting the brisket nachos for the table. That is so much food that alone could fill 3 people. The drinks are amazing! My go to is a spicy watermelon margarita with tajin on the rim. Half priced drinks for happy hours, can't beat it. El Camino will always be a staple when I come to visit Boca.

My dad is a regular here with his wife. I have visited the other location years ago and while in town my dad brought me here. The vibe was good, the restaurant itself is gorgeous. We arrived during happy hour and everything was reasonably priced, I was able to have a few things and was full. The guacamole was my favorite. The margaritas were top both! I understand why this is my dad's favorite restaurant! Great Mexican food and this is coming from someone who lives in SOCAL. I will be back!

We came with friends for happy hour and have been to this location before. Our servers, Maria and Melanie, were both very sweet and clearly working hard. They seemed a bit understaffed this evening, as it took about 25 minutes for my drink to arrive after we sat down. We started with chips and salsa. When we asked the manager for more salsa verde, he seemed a bit preoccupied and didn't really engage with us. On the positive side, you really can't beat the happy hour prices! My classic margarita was tasty, though my friend found her blood orange margarita a bit too sweet. We'd love to see the pineapple coconut margarita added to the happy hour menu--it's a favorite! For food, we ordered the carnitas tacos, kale salad, fish tacos, and brisket quesadillas. My carnitas tacos were flavorful and filling, with a nice touch of spice, though I wish they had more toppings. My friend felt the same. The brisket quesadillas were a hit--melty, rich, and delicious. Another friend enjoyed his fish tacos, although one taco had a noticeably smaller piece of fish than the other. He also loved the kale salad, which he said was perfectly dressed with pumpkin seeds, lemon dressing, and a standout cornmeal crouton. Overall, a mixed experience.

Commercialized Mexican eatery on Restaurant Row in Boca Raton specializing in tequila and street tacos. The mixed trio street tacos were decent sized but the pork belly were visually amazing and full of flavor. I dribbled the tacos in the El Camino hot sauce - no label on the bottle. The chips and salsa were a good appetizer before demolishing the tacos. The gender assigned bathroom was clean with a Mexican floor tiles and a rustic comunal sink held secured to the wall by large chains.

El Camino absolutely delivers for happy hour! I went with a group of women on a Friday, and it was the perfect way to kick off the evening. We got there early and snagged a great table outside by the fire--so worth it. Sitting in the sunshine, drinks in hand, laughing and catching up made for an ideal start to the night. I ordered a Tito's and club soda with lime, which was crisp and refreshing. We shared the brisket nachos loaded with cheese, and they were a huge hit--gone in no time and loved by everyone at the table. We ended up staying for quite a while just enjoying the atmosphere. The place was packed, buzzing, and full of energy, which made the experience even better. It felt lively and fun without being overwhelming. One quick tip: parking can be a bit of a challenge, so give yourself extra time. Overall, El Camino is a fantastic go-to for happy hour, great food, strong drinks, and an upbeat Friday night scene. Definitely coming back! And please remember my tips! the happy hour drink prices are not to be beat!

I've been here a few times (Boca location) for happy hour. They really have a great happy hour. (4:30-7pm) The drinks for HH include margaritas, espresso martini, and more. Food items available include tacos (chicken, fish, brisket), kale salad, quesadillas, and more. I love their watermelon jalapeno margarita. Their food is very good too.

Great place and it's always busy especially during happy hour. The food was great had several types of tacos fish, gringo and chicken. My favorite was the fish. I also ate their chips and salsa which was really inexpensive. I also drank their el Camino ipa which was good too and their ice tea. The bartender was nice while they were busy he was able to accommodate everyone. If you're really hungry I would recommend their nachos is on of the best and the portion is a lot so you won't be disappointed.

Good modern Mexican food in a hip environment. Good music, friendly staff, cool vibe. Food arrived quickly and hot. Everyone was very pleased with their meals. Would definitely like to come back to try some of the other dishes as well. The drink menu looks great, just wasnt able to try any this visit. Indoor and outdoor seating options available.

This place is awesome. I've been a few times with friends and it's always a good time. The bartenders are always attentive, the drinks are good and food is amazing. I love the view and that it's partially outside. Definitely suggest checking it out but also maybe reservations. It's always busy.

We were sharing both and started with the Octopus. It was so tender and served on top of crispy potato and with a green apple nuoc cham - a vibrant tart dipping sauce. They had me here, it was so good. The the Chicken Masala came out. This was one of the best Chicken Tikka dishes, I've had. Not too spicy and so flavorful. I was so impressed. Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. Also loved the atmosphere once again, it's just a very nice, open place to enjoy a meal and have a drink. We got a bunch of appetizers to start. The house made Ricotta with cracked pepper and olive oil was very delicious. I also loved the crispy zucchini slices, which were topped with peppadew peppers and a chili vinaigrette. Outstanding stuff. The seared ahi tuna was next level. The fish was fresh and beautifully seated and the mix of cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro and wasabi cream was sensational. One of the best dishes they make at Sixty Vines. The absolute best of the bunch was the truffle fries! They were amazing. They are basically crispy layered potatoes, almost like stacks of filo dough, fried and topped with pecorino, chives and lemon truffle cream. They were so good we ordered a second one! Considering how wonderful everything was to this point, we were expecting nothing but great things for the next course. However they completely dropped the ball and basically ruined our meal with lackluster entrees. Our party ordered the steak fries with chimichurri sauce, the double cabrenet burger, and several filet mignons. The amount of time it took to get the food was unreasonable. Once the appetizers were finished we had to wait somewhere around 20 to 25 minutes to get our mains, and the place was not that busy. I assume that the waitress just forgot or was busy with something else. As for the food, the quality of the steaks was not good all around. Everybody who got the filet mignon commented that the texture was chalky and weird. They were also all overcooked. And oddly, they decided to slice the steak before serving it, so it was very dry. Why would you pre slice a steak, all that's going to do is let the juices seep out and make the temperature drop. I honestly don't get it. The steak that came with the steak fries, I think it was a skirt steak, was also not the best cut. It was super fatty and a little chewy. The fries were good though but the meat was terrible. Finally the burger was completely overdone despite the person ordering it medium rare. Overall, not the best ending to a meal that started with such amazing dishes. Really striking contrast. And actually it made me think that I probably will not go back to Sixty Vines anytime soon. For a $350 meal they have to be doing a lot better. Dried out, overcooked steaks and burgers isn't going to cut it.

Maybe it's quieter outside but those tables are right next to the street. We had to yell to hear each other. Our server Sebastian was so pushy and constantly upselling us. As soon as we sat down, he asked whether we wanted still or sparkling water, but that question should always have 3 options: still, sparkling, or tap? He then recommended the signature omakase, the most expensive thing on the menu. When he came back to take our order, he made a big pitch of today's rib special. When my husband ordered the 8-piece nigiri, he pushed us to upgrade to the 12-piece option. As we were eating, he asked us what else we wanted to order. We ordered $130 of food for 2 people...seriously? We hadn't even finished yet to gauge if we were still hungry. I know that tips are a percentage of the bill, but you would've thought this kid was getting a commission on top of his tip or something. It rubbed us the wrong way. The tuna crispy rice was $5 per piece and the rice was weirdly chewy. Wouldn't order it again. The nigiri were the highlight of the meal. Each piece felt balanced and the sushi rice was good. We ordered 3 rolls: toro toro, scallop, and yellowtail. All were forgettable and expensive for what they were. The yellowtail roll was bland, which is probably why there's a chili ponzu sauce to go with it because otherwise all you can taste is pear, which isn't a flavor I'm looking for in sushi. We ended our meal with scallop tacos, which were good but microscopic and pricey ($17 for 2 tacos). Each one is a bite and a half. It took a while to flag down Sebastian for the bill, so we were stuck in the din of the restaurant for longer than we liked. If the restaurant's filling up, wouldn't you want to turn our table and seat new guests? My husband made a note on the res that it was my birthday, but it was ignored. Maybe we would've had a better experience with a different waiter, but this was a disappointing meal and service.
