I was not allowed to drink my medical-grade water, which I need for medical reasons. Even after explaining this, the staff refused to accommodate me. On top of that, the manager had an attitude from the moment we arrived and was unprofessional throughout our visit. The restaurant was also extremely dirty, and there were bugs flying around. We had a really good experience at Flanigan's! I ordered the fish tacos and thought they were great. My husband had the ribs and shrimp combo, which our waiter recommended, and he said it was very good. We both also enjoyed our drinks. The highlight of the visit was definitely our waiter -- he had red hair in a ponytail and was incredibly attentive the entire time. You could tell he was working hard and moving almost nonstop, but he stayed so friendly and helpful throughout our meal. He even gave us recommendations for a sweet treat afterward, which was a nice touch. Great service really made the experience stand out! read more

Flanigans in Deerfield Beach is always packed on the weekends and provides a key west style atmosphere. The hostess takes your walk up reservation and alerts your cell phone as the table becomes ready. Only a fifteen minute wait which was not bad. Finally sat at a table near the bar and met with the server, Nicole, who introduced herself, took our order and was attentive and pleasant. The slab of ribs and the side loaded baked potato were ready within ten minutes. The sweet cole slaw was mouth watering. I added the Flanigan's bbq sauce and began a full assault on the ribs, which are consistently fall off the bone tender at every location. My hubby ordered the firecracker shrimp but it wasn't like what we have back home, he didn't rate it as high as the other dishes we tried. I had the blue chip martini and it was yummy. My salmon was dry, and my daughter's chicken tenders was supposed to come with a drink and a special cup that was never offered and her broccoli was doused in butter despite the fact that we informed the waiter that she has a dairy allergy. This is very unusual because the Flanigans in Boca is amazing. And I can't say I've ever had a bad meal at any other Flanigans in South Florida. My mom tried to send the ribs back, but they said she ate too much although I cut the meat off of the bones and there was a full plate of fatty meat. She had only tried a few bites. I have never seen anything like that. We will never go back to the Deerfield location again. I will say that other Flanigan's have some of the best ribs I've ever had. Long time beach favorite! I can eat my dinner in my bathing suit comfortably! All day happy hours and great affordable pricing for rather large portion sizes. Great for families, which you will always see plenty of. Is it gourmet? Nope... but the baby back ribs are always tender and fall off the bone, the burger is huge and the optional toppings are varied enough, their few seafood options are solid, with the tuna being a really decent portion, and never overcooked. Drinks can be weak, but they're also cheap, so add a shot if need be. I love the beach vibe and sitting outdoors in the heat eating a burger with cocktails always feels like vacation. Friendly servers, always a little forgetful but they're also welcome to reminders. Consistent for over a decade I'm never disappointed coming here. It's right across from Deerfield beach so it can get busy, join the waitlist online and get a head start. Can't go wrong with Flanigans! I keep watching the loaded nachos but have yet to try... apparently they're complimentary on Mondays with a beverage pitcher.... Plan to try next visit! read more

I absolutely love this place! Flanigan's is an Irish pub located right across from Deerfield beach. Parking can be a bit of a chore, but the do have valet parking for $8.00. The physical appearance is so casual and inviting. They offer comfortable inside and outside seating as well as a very fun and lively bar. Exactly what you would expect at an Irish Pub. The servers are very friendly and attentive. The food is very good! I've had their burger, their grilled fish options and a few other items. All fantastic with generous portions! It's a wonderfully casual and friendly! There is often a line waiting to get in during the snowbird season, but be patient. It is worth the wait. They do not accept reservations, but take advantage of the call ahead seating. You will receive text messages indicating your wait time and how many customers are ahead of you. If I want bbq ribs Flanigans in my opinion is far better than other restaurants. The sweet tangy sauce and the moist rib meat puts a smile on my face. Had a fifteen minute wait but was sat next to the bar which is much better than the patio at scolding 90 degrees. I have been to several Flanigan's locations in the past and not sure why I haven't written a review. I never leave disappointed. This location is on Deerfield Beach. There are several restaurants nearby and all are usually very busy on a Friday night so we were happy to be seated right away in a booth. The ambiance is always fun and casual. Our server arrived quickly and we were ready to order their famous Baby Back Ribs and a Caesar Salad with grilled tuna. Our meals arrived and we were both very happy with our choices. Parking in the garage down the street was easy. Flanigan's prices are also very good. We will be back again for the ribs and to try other items. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised how much I liked this place. My son played down the place saying it isn't at all foodie oriented and it's very famlly oriented casual. Which is all true = but I loved the down to earth vibe here - very friendly staff - LOTS of choices to choose from from apps, mains, salads etc I ended up eating here 3 times in a week since it was a three minute walk from where I was staying. Prices are so very reasonable and the portions are dang generous. I had the grilled salmon sandwich each time with different sides. Dirty rice could feed 3 people easily lol Downside was the nachos my friend ordered which looks amazingly gigantic was sad. Cold chips with almost no cheese on it whatsoever. She ordered no beans/chili on it - but still very very sad pile of almost naked chips. Service that night was odd - drinks didn't come together - long lag on her wine coming while my frozen margarita melted away Son got the chicken sandwich on visit - was really good - but his fries were all cold. I apologize I don't remember her name but this was on Sunday 5.24.26 in the evening. Made great recommendations; was so on top of all her tables in a huge section; and did it all w a beautiful smile. I'm glad we chose a table instead of the bar w a bartender that never even acknowledged me. But Kass and our server made up for his poor service. Lastly but not least the food was actually really good. We got the Philly; the chipotle chicken sandwich and the appetizer rib bombs (not sure if that's the name) which were all great quality ingredients and yummy.
