When one of my besties told me that she and her hubby were moving to West Palm Beach to escape the winters of PA, I was so surprised. My grandparents moved to WPB in the 1920s. I have so many great memories of WPB because we lived with them for a while. I even started kindergarten in WPB. So visiting my friend is like visiting home. Good friends are the family that you choose. Filled with love and special memories. So nice to be able to celebrate life with my bestie at a Royal Holiday Tea on a sunny Monday in West Palm Beach. Just off Dixie Highway, Serenity Garden Tea House & Cafe is so charming. The historic 1919 cottage reminds me of my grandparents' Florida home, a small cottage on Dixie Highway with a garden filled with fruit trees. The cute dining rooms are filled with vintage furniture and china donated by patrons. They even have an iconic British red telephone booth. So warm and cozy. Lots of parking available. The Royal Holiday Tea was perfect. A pot of Earl Gray. Champagne or sparkling cider. A sweet potato and pear bisque to start. Next the tower of tea treats. Scones with clotted cream, lemon curd and homemade strawberry jam. Brings me back to my Liverpool roots. Tea sandwiches. Cucumber, egg salad, tuna and turkey. Topped with a selection of sweet treats-chocolate brownies, cream puffs and chocolate dipped strawberries. A perfect afternoon with a bestie. Sharing memories while celebrating life. L'chaim. Cheers to a beautiful new year. Celebrating 2026. #1

I didn't know what to expect but I was really impressed from the service to the quality of the tea and food. The cafe is in a little strip mall off A1A. Parking is okay considering there are other businesses next door. I loved seeing the cardboard cut out of Queen Elizabeth in the window. As someone that loves the Royal family and all things London, this place was a dream. They had lots of pictures of Princess Diana, Princess Kate, etc. It really makes you feel royal yourself! My advice: MAKE A RESERVATION if you plan on coming. They recommend it as well. It can get busy however when I went there was only one or two others who came which was nice we got to experience the cafe without it being crowded. I had the kindest, most accommodating server! I wish I remembered her name. It was such a treat having her wait on us today. So polite called me 'ma'am' and was so respectful and helpful. I ordered the club sandwich, champagne, and the lemon nectarine cake. So delicious! When I ordered my food I made her aware of my nut allergy as some things have nuts. She was super kind and when she brought my food out she even mentioned that it had no nuts. I really appreciate that! I ordered the 'Magic Butterfly' tea. (Decaf) I'm not kidding when I say this is THE BEST TEA I have ever had in my life. It was a mix of apple, pea flower, lavender, and a few other things. They have two options when ordering tea. A full pot at $7 or a half of pot at $5. We went with the half of pot which is for two people. It was enough for us both. If you come with any more than two people than get the full pot for only two dollars more. I thought the prices were good. They also have high tea options such as The Diana, The Kate, The Elizabeth, and The Charlotte (which is for kids 10 and under) these are priced per person at a bit of a higher cost but you get multiple things included in each one. I will list the menus down below. We were checked in on a lot and made sure we were content. The service was phenomenal I can't stress that enough! They also have little gifts to purchase around the store. I had the best time today. It was such a treat! Next time I come to Florida I'll definitely be visiting again. Thank you ladies!

I'm so happy to start the new month of February being able to share the great experience I had at…read moreTea Time in Sunrise. Located in a pretty nondescript strip mall, once you walk inside you'll immediately feel as if you're part of an English tea experience. The owner Brian is such a nice man and he'll make sure your experience is nothing but positive. I went with a friend who is vegetarian and he made sure her food was within the confines of what she could eat. For high tea they have The Royal Madison which offers you choice of tea, pastries, homemade scones with lemon curd and clotted cream, assorted finger sandwiches and fresh fruit. For $10 more you can get Megan's High Tea which also includes a slice of quiche, a cup of soup and champagne, a mimosa or fruit juice. We opted for the Megan's High Tea and I'm so glad we did. The spinach/feta quiche and the carrot ginger soup were both very good. My mimosa was perfect and was the perfect accompaniment for the finger sandwiches. The scones were warm right out of the oven and were so delicious that I'm still thinking about them a day later. I really enjoyed all the finger sandwiches with their different fillings, it's hard to pick a favorite. The tea was perfect the hardest part was picking one from the vast array of choices. They also have a cute little gift shop area that's worth checking out. Among the things they sell are a nice selection of assorted teas. I can't recommend this place enough and like I said, Brian will do whatever it takes to make sure you have a memorable experience.

It is a small place but the 11 of us had fun. There are so many teas to choose from my favorite was a caramel apple (I think). Their chai tea is also really good. The little tea sandwiches were delicious. To add to the theme you could wear hats or even buy hats when first walking in. We all had a blast and will probably find an excuse to go back.

We were still charged for her tea since the food was already prepared. Our young server brought the food out before offering water or taking our tea order. She didn't seem well trained. We had to ask what teas were available and how many flavors we were allowed to order. Two tea pots were allowed for our party of six. My favorite was the ginger peach spice. We also had the crème brulee. I prefer when each person is allowed to pick their own tea flavor and receives their own teapot. We were served a very small mixed green salad to start. It was made with fresh ingredients. Then we received the 3 tier platter with delicious egg sandwiches, cucumber, and chicken salad croissants. The scones were delicious and served with clotted cream and jam. There were macaroons, chocolates, and some berries on the bottom tier. There are many racks of hats you may choose to wear. There is parking in the attached lot. Overall the food was good, but the service needs to be improved.

I go there with my daughter, and it's perfect for kids. I love that it has plenty of parking, a small restaurant, and reasonable ticket prices. We came here on Mother's Day -- a Sunday in May. As you can imagine, it was quite busy. So busy, in…read morefact, that we only saw a peak at the inside museum and a quick visit to the gift shop. We spent our time visiting the Japanese gardens. It was excruciatingly hot the day we visited. We were glad for the frequent benches to stop and rest. We enjoyed the beauty of the various gardens. Especially liked the bamboo grove as my husband got to explain to a few folks a bit about bamboo and the ingenuity of his grandfather using bamboo on his farm in Georgia as irrigation conduits. The sign saying don't carve the bamboo next to a carved stalk was ironic... In addition to the various plant gardens, there were the rock gardens, the waterfalls, and the pine forest. Liked seeing the koi fish and turtles. Another highlight was the bonsai exhibit. Throughout the winding path, there were stone lanterns and small wooden huts. At the entrance to the area with the original 1977 museum is a laughing Buddha statue of Hotei, the god of happiness. Smaller than expected, you might miss it the first time you pass by. As a caveat, prepare for lots of walking. Wear comfortable shoes, a hat or carry a parasol, sunglasses. They have a couple areas with steps, but there is an alternative "easier" path for strollers or handicapped. And if possible, come when it's cooler. I'm glad we walked the entire perimeter. But for someone very much out of shape, I know I'll be feeling my achy muscles. I'm glad we got this brief glimpse into the history and culture of the Japanese in South Florida. It's one of the most distinctive tourist attractions in our area.
