Weak kava, plus they only serve you half a cup. Definitely not worth the money, because there are much better Kava places around.

When we walked in we discovered one of the most Relaxing inviting atmospheres that we had ever been in. The lighting was soft the furniture was comfortable and soothing, the bartender Colton was extremely knowledgeable about the drinks and the differences between Kava and Kratom. We opted for the three strain kratom drink mine was some type of berry and was beyond delicious. We had some shots can't remember what they were we left it up to Colton and they too were delicious. We had a couple of vegan cheeseburgers and even though you picked them from the refrigerator and they warm them up they were still delicious! The lounge is pet friendly and the perfect place to go if you just want to decompress, maybe get some work done in a quiet place, read a book, or just connect with that someone special. I highly recommend this place, especially considering the alternative across the street is not very friendly and not very excepting of Certain types of people especially LGBTQ. I love this place and will be back probably later on today! Great experience! Update! I went back the next afternoon and again with my husband later on that night! Love this place!

Mystic Roots Kava Bar in Lake Worth Beach has absolutely leveled up lately. The vibe was always…read moregood, but the recent kava-tender changes have taken the whole experience to another level. You can feel the difference the moment you walk in -- the energy is smoother, the service is sharper, and the team clearly takes pride in what they're doing. The new management style deserves real credit. They've made thoughtful staff changes that immediately improved the atmosphere and consistency. Everyone behind the bar is friendly, attentive, and actually seems happy to be there, which makes a huge impact when you're trying to unwind with a shell or settle in for a relaxing night. Mystic Roots has become one of those spots where you feel genuinely welcomed every time. Clean space, great drinks, and a team that gets it -- exactly what a kava bar should be. If you haven't been in a while, go back. If you're new to kava or kratom, this is absolutely the place to start. Mystic Roots is running better than ever.

Mystic Roots was clean & Noah greeted us immediately upon entry and gave us a run down of the menu. If you're new here and don't know what kava is, here's the deal. Kava is a root from the South Pacific that's brewed into a tea like substance. It's known for being upbeat, social, anti-anxiety, and relaxation. Kava tastes like dirt. Period. You don't drink it for the taste; you're drinking it for the effects. Mystic Roots has a friendly cheers like vibe where the patrons all know each other's names. Would be a great place to meet other sober people, have a new experience or do some work during the day. Super chill vibes & Noah was a gem. Thanks for the amazing experience & the tasty drinks. Will be back!

Don't sleep on Boynton Beach - cocktail bar vibe, hiding in plain site in a strip mall... this gem is chef inspired and simply amazing. We tried the wood fired asparagus served on toast with a gooey egg and then the pork belly grilled baby bok choy and both had me in the happy chair dance. Although steak definitely makes sense with a wood fire concept, instead we tried the lamb rack served with a mint sauce combo that has you cleaning the plate and local pompano served curry lite with wild mushroom (delish)! If you are a foodie make your way here. This was a spot where one (or is it just me) considers maybe we order everything to try? And we left the fun for another time. I have my eye on their spiced lamb bolognese and another amazing cocktail. The cocktails are mostly milk fat clarified which adds yet another fun twist to a new fav spot! Make a reservation and if you are in the area during the day it is a solid cafe. This is how I found it to begin with! Nom nom nom - enjoy

Location was easy to find and parking was even easier. Walking up there were bright lights and music was blasting. But at 10pm the inside was near empty. Beautiful flooring for dancing but the few people lining the walls or in VIP area were smoking hookah and/or throwing back drinks. I make my way around to the outside lounge where more people chat away and smoke under the stars. Lounge area is pretty chill under good weather. Servers circle around if you take a table so no need to go back and forth for the bar. Thursday's are a bag a skittles; anything/everything. Sometimes it's a drag show, sometimes it's karaoke, sometime it's some random theme party. (Karaoke Session - yeah I walked out with what seemed like 1/2 the crowd.) Don't know if this was the first night doing this but it definitely wasn't advertised properly. There is very rarely someone at the door on Thursdays. Latin Fridays - Call me a hater - but I don't understand letting 18 years into a bar. Music and drinks were still very nice. And the dance floor is great to show off your bachata.

When we left at about 7:15 all spots were filled and valet was packed as well. I made a last minute reservation through open table and glad I did because most people had to wait 30 min to an hour for a table. The atmosphere is very lively and loud. It's casual. the bars inside and outside were packed. It was a lovely night, not too humid or hot. We sat outside on the deck and had a nice view of the intracoastal. They also decorated for Halloween which added a nice touch. The server was super friendly and attentive. I ordered the fish and chips and loved it. Perfectly fried and not greasy. Not bland at all. Very fresh and not fishy. The tartar sauce it came with was great as well. Lots of French fries too. My dad got the ribs and they were way too smoky. Someone went too heavy with the liquid smoke. But they were cooked right, juicy and fell off the bone. The ribs just came on the plate, should have put a garnish or broccoli or something to make the presentation nicer. My mom loved her mahi fish. The tap water here is not filtered, it's not good at all. We had to get sodas. Also not crazy that they give you a glass with a straw that doesn't have paper on it. Seems not very sanitary. We went on a night of king tide and when we left a bunch of cars parked closer to the water side and front of parking lot were flooded. The restaurant across the way was even partially flooded and people eating at flooded tables, but no one seemed to care.

We had a choice of soup and went with the sweet potato pear. The tiers include delicious sandwiches (tuna, cucumber, egg, turkey), desserts, and scones. The table is very elegantly set. Our server did an amazing job. He continually checked on us and kept our water glasses full. There is parking in the attached lot. Serenity exceeded our expectations so much that my sisters and I returned for a farewell get together for my sister about six weeks later. The house that Serenity occupies was built in 1916 and definitely adds to the charm of the experience. The decor is quaint and 'girly' with large hats and tea pots scattered around the shelves and walls. Many tea cups, saucers, and plates are displayed throughout the shop. I was so happy that Serenity offers a gluten free menu. The first course for me consisted of a delicious sweet potato soup. I wished I could have eaten more but there was plenty more food to come. The gluten free finger sandwiches were also tasty. The chocolate covered strawberry, macaron, and brownie (all gf) finished up a filling tea service. The desserts were store bought and tasted good but they were obviously store bought and were a minor let down. We ended up boxing up some of our sandwiches and desserts to take home to enjoy later! Each of us were given our own large pot of tea to go along with our lunch. Our first visit, I chose Peach Black Tea while one of my sisters tried the Chai Black Tea. We both bought the same teas from the store in the tea house to take home with us as we enjoyed them so much. The individual tea pots are quite large, The tea pots are wrapped in large, colorful cozies to stay warm throughout our visit. My sisters and I sampled each others' tea, of course. Each of us also drank a glass of champagne. The service is attentive, friendly, and efficient. I wish I could remember the name our server as he took care of our table both times we visited. He really helped make our visits to Serenity special and relaxing. The owner and the staff really work together to make a visit to Serenity Garden Tea House & Cafe a fantastic experience for their guests. We'll be back!!
