We had a choice of soup and went with the sweet potato pear. The tiers include delicious sandwiches (tuna, cucumber, egg, turkey), desserts, and scones. The table is very elegantly set. Our server did an amazing job. He continually checked on us and kept our water glasses full. There is parking in the attached lot. I've been to many high teas and this is the BEST in South Florida. You can order A-la carte or do the 3-tier tea.

Serenity exceeded our expectations so much that my sisters and I returned for a farewell get together for my sister about six weeks later. The house that Serenity occupies was built in 1916 and definitely adds to the charm of the experience. The decor is quaint and 'girly' with large hats and tea pots scattered around the shelves and walls. Many tea cups, saucers, and plates are displayed throughout the shop. I was so happy that Serenity offers a gluten free menu. The first course for me consisted of a delicious sweet potato soup. I wished I could have eaten more but there was plenty more food to come. The gluten free finger sandwiches were also tasty. The chocolate covered strawberry, macaron, and brownie (all gf) finished up a filling tea service. The desserts were store bought and tasted good but they were obviously store bought and were a minor let down. We ended up boxing up some of our sandwiches and desserts to take home to enjoy later! Each of us were given our own large pot of tea to go along with our lunch. Our first visit, I chose Peach Black Tea while one of my sisters tried the Chai Black Tea. We both bought the same teas from the store in the tea house to take home with us as we enjoyed them so much. The individual tea pots are quite large, The tea pots are wrapped in large, colorful cozies to stay warm throughout our visit. My sisters and I sampled each others' tea, of course. Each of us also drank a glass of champagne. The service is attentive, friendly, and efficient. I wish I could remember the name our server as he took care of our table both times we visited. He really helped make our visits to Serenity special and relaxing. The owner and the staff really work together to make a visit to Serenity Garden Tea House & Cafe a fantastic experience for their guests. We'll be back!!

The barista/manager Courtney took us on an unexpected guided tour of the hotel. This was customer service at it's best. Did not even have to think twice about giving this café a strong five stars.

The hotel is always spotless, and everyone I've interacted with has been welcoming and genuinely friendly. There's a lovely café and restaurant on the property, perfect for a coffee break or a meal. If you visit during the holidays, don't miss their Christmas decorations. The pink-themed Christmas tree is stunning and fits the hotel's style perfectly. I also love that if you're celebrating a birthday, the café can write a personalized birthday message right on top of your drink--such a thoughtful little touch. The Colony has its own unique style and atmosphere. Whether you're staying here or just stopping in for coffee, it's definitely worth a visit.

They have a variety of board games too and different areas to chill at. We sat at the high top table and enjoyed the long body mirror behind (great for pictures). The employee guided us with which Kava was best suited for beginners and I enjoyed the ability to mix and match the flavors. My first drink was strawberry kiwi (a bit strong at first), while my second drink was more easily digestible since I picked the passion fruit & pineapple flavor. They also have sugar free options if you're trying to watch your calories! Their bathrooms were clean and the overall area seemed quite organized. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely return to try their jolly rancher flavor!

You order at a tiny window, and a few minutes later you're holding something wrapped in paper that you'll be thinking about for weeks. Paper-thin, silky beef carpaccio is piled high on a perfectly airy baguette with Peppery arugula and shaved parmesan. Then come the onions, both crispy and balsamic. The crunch against that tender, buttery beef is unreal, and the sweet, jammy balsamic onions tie everything together. Every layer is intentional. Nothing is soggy or overdone, and nothing is missing. At $17.25 it's an absolute steal for something this good and worth every penny. Order at the window, grab a few extra napkins, and take it somewhere pretty to eat it. Do NOT share. 10/10, five stars, I'd fly back for this sandwich.

On top of that, the service was quite slow, which made the overall experience feel even more underwhelming. If you're going for drinks, music, and ambiance, it may be worth a visit. This location has an unnecessary rule that you can't use the bathroom unless you have paid for your drink first. If someone is clearly in line waiting to order the drink, I don't understand why the other person shouldn't be able to use the restroom. They have a code to use the restroom on the receipt, which seems unnecessary. If you don't want caffeine or anything with Tea, the options are pretty limited. Everything else is basically mango flavored or red bean flavored. And if you ask for a replacement for the tea, it will just be water. They also charge extra if you want to replace the milk powder in any of the Milk teas with lactaid, oat milk, or soy milk. When they are already charging $8+ for a medium sized drink, it seems kind of crazy to charge extra for even regular milk instead of dehydrated milk. It feels like there are way better boba places that charge a more reasonable price and are more flexible with their options.

Unfortunately most of my guests got caught up in the torrential downpour and were running behind. The waiter assured me that we were quite alright to wait if we preferred. I decided to start with a cocktail. The testa Rossa was recommended. I ended up giving it to my husband as it was rather strong and I did not taste watermelon nor coconut. I went with the second recommendation of the strawberry bliss. Another strong drink which the gin overpowered the other flavors. I may skip the cocktails if I come back as I did not fancy either of the ones I tasted. I tried some of Lisa's sunflower seed toast which came with the cutest set up of butter and delicious apricot and strawberry jam. For my lunch I decided on the Cacio de Pepe which was cheesily delicious and transported me back to Rome.
