Cigar Lounge We were…read moreout in PBG for dinner and my buddy and I decided we needed a nice cigar to finish out the evening - we did a quick google search and Angry Moon was right down the street so we popped over. Now I've been in and around the PBG area for a long time. I've gone to Angry Moon Café and never, not once, did I notice the cigar lounge located pretty much right behind the café. Go figure. This is an old-school place. Lots of dark: dark wood and dark leather and a dimly lit back bar with just about anything you can thing of up there- exactly what I expect at a cigar lounge. Since this was a snap decision for us, we had to hit the humidor to grab some sticks - humidor was very comprehensive with just about anything you culd wat, and all price points. We found some that worked for us and got them snipped and lit in short order. There are clippers and lighters available at the tiny bar - this is a service bar - not a sitting bar BTW. Young lady working there was very sociable and witty. We grabbed two after-dinner type drinks and found some cozy seats outside. The wonderful thing about this place is that there are a lot of options for seating. Inside / outside / semi-outside - you should be able to fins something that works for you. We chose the semi-outside option where we could look at the boats in the marina. The cigars and cocktails went down smoothly, and a good time was had by all. Prices are what you might expect for PBG / Jupiter. There is a piano and live piano music - just for reference the crowd is definitely on the older side- so not the best place to let it all hang out is my guess. Restrooms are spotless and the place is clean. This one is definitely going on the regular rotation of places to hit when in the area. Parking in front.

The baked garlic butter oysters and Rockefeller oysters were both very good and such a great deal. The deviled eggs and Gumbo Ya Ya were also full of flavor and definitely worth trying. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic happy hour spot with great drinks, tasty food, and a lively vibe. I'll definitely be back!

Our friend wanted to order one more drink while happy hour was still available, but because he was rude she decided not to. Hubs had the fried chicken sandwich which was not hot either, something he would not order again. The side of broccoli rabe was cold. Side of Cesar salad had dressing that was way too salty and not palpable. Luckily I asked for the dressing on the side and could control the amount. On my first visit, I inquired about "the room in the back." Was told that area was for Members Only (there was even a sign) AND was offered information on how to join if I desired. There were nothing but sporty White guys in there so I didn't sign up but passed the info along to some colleagues of mine who "fit in" better with their normal clientele. A few months later, _upon_ entering and offering a cheery hello to a different blonde-babe bartender with far less gravitas and friendliness, she responded with a brusque, "Are you a member?" That's it. No welcome. No offer to join. No upsell. Just a GTFOH vibe emanating from her pores. She added that she was new and they could be fined $3,000 if they let non-members in. Oh, she also attempted to *check* me stating that there are signs on the outside. There are not. The signs declaring privacy refer to the outside seating and the restrooms only. That's it. There's nothing special to offer and any axe to grind. Someone below had the same abrupt service upon entering without this mysterious, EMPTY, members-only bar. It's the standard bar/restaurant selection, Padron, Liga Privada, Cohiba, Arturo Fuente, Acids, Tabac, etc. The humidor seems to be kept and the right humidity. You select your stick and the bartender gets it/them out for you, I imagine this is a good way to keep people out of the humidor that don't need to be in there. The humidity in Florida is so high, I would imagine they also do this to keep RH levels solid. Props to the good ventilation, they were able to leave the front door open, and the smoke eaters do a really good job. All in all, it's a good time, like I said it's a busy bar, so expect some shenanigans, but it's all in good fun. It was a good chance to get out of this wind and smoke a cigar properly. It was a lovely way to spend a couple hours on the water and the all you can drink beers and seltzers didn't hurt, lol! Please note if the tour you've signed up for doesn't have at least six people you will be moved to another tour, which is what happened to us and we didn't realize we were only getting a two hour tour when we had paid for a three hour tour until it had already started. Seems like there was a little bit of disconnect in the information sharing, but we still had an excellent experience and would definitely come again when visiting the area.

The hotel is right across from the stadium with stuff to do within a very short walking distance. Would consider staying here again if I'm back in Jupiter for business.
