There's definitely many reasons why my cousin picked this restaurant to be our stomping grounds…read moretonight with my cousins. I don't have much to say negatively about it to be honest. This place was AMAZING! From the minute we were greeted and asked for our reservation's name to the ending of our experience; it was hands down so great! I had probably one of the best espresso martinis I have ever had. I'm not even joking when I say that. It was delicious. The apps were nothing less than perfect too that we shared for the table. The duck rolls were pretty spot on and that's saying a lot for not being a big fan of duck. We also shared the cauliflower. My main entree was the octopus. I'm glad I asked about spice, because they said it had a kick. So I asked for the sauce to be on the side. Our server, Riley, did it without hesitation for me. The environment was also really pretty for Indian fusion. There was an upside down painting of the Taj Mahal upside down that was sick!

We sat on the patio under an umbrella during dusk time, which was lovely. It wasn't too hot. Aspen was our server and she was extremely accomodating and kind. She provided her recommendations to us about the menu, which I really appreciated. We started with the mocktails "is there a doctor in the house?" And they were AMAZING! Super refreshing. It had pineapple skin, ginger, turmeric, carrot, and citrus. We ordered a bunch of items to share. For appetizers, we ordered the bang bang cauliflower, which had mushroom, paneer, mint and cilantro. This was SO yummy, but extremely spicy! My mouth was actually on fire. We also got the spicy tuna bomb which consistent of semolina puri, spicy soy, green goddess, and avocado. They were shaped like little circles that you could pop in your mouth in one bite. We got the Brussels Caesar which was AWESOME! I loved the shaved Brussels made into a salad. We also ordered the truffle naan with ricotta. This is a MUST! It was delicious. The truffle taste was so potent. And the ricotta paired so well with it. We ordered the ribeye cut medium from the meat menu along with the buttermilk miso. The meat was perfect. It was tender and yummy. We just weren't provided with a knife to cut it and had to ask for it. I gave 4 stars just because of the multiple flies that were surrounding us and our food at one point. We asked for a fly fan, but unfortunately they didn't have one available. Overall, wonderful experience though! Food was very tasty, service was great. I will most definitely return and sit inside on my next occasion!

On our drive home from Miami to Jacksonville, we traded Interstate 95 for the slower, more scenic A1A. It made for beautiful views, but after crawling through one coastal town after another, lunch became a priority. A quick search landed us at Stage Kitchen & Bar on PGA Boulevard, a restaurant I later learned had earned a place in the 2025 Michelin Guide. After one meal, it was easy to understand why. We began with two appetizers that could not have been more different, duck confit egg rolls and a grilled cheese. Calling the grilled cheese "just a grilled cheese" would be unfair. Brie melted between perfectly griddled bread kissed with white truffle oil already sounds luxurious. Pair it with a bright mango jam and suddenly a childhood comfort food becomes something unexpectedly elegant. Richness met sweetness in all the right proportions. The duck confit egg rolls were equally memorable. The duck was deeply seasoned with Middle Eastern spices, giving each bite layers of warm, savory flavor. The accompanying peanut chutney added sweetness, nuttiness, and just enough contrast to keep the dish from becoming too heavy. These egg rolls packed far more personality than their modest appearance suggested. For lunch, my wife ordered the grilled black grouper sandwich. The fish, sourced fresh from local suppliers, was flaky, moist, and clean tasting. Lettuce, tomato, onion, and a malt vinegar aioli gave the sandwich brightness without overwhelming the fish. It was simple, balanced, and exactly what a fresh fish sandwich should be. I chose Stage's signature burger, two Certified Angus Beef patties topped with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, sunflower sprouts, and their house "fancy sauce." This is the kind of burger that reminds you why burgers became America's favorite sandwich in the first place. Cooked to a juicy medium, every bite was rich without becoming heavy. The caramelized onions added sweetness, the white cheddar delivered sharpness, and the sunflower sprouts provided freshness and texture. The fancy sauce contributed just enough heat to keep everything interesting without stealing the spotlight. Dessert continued the restaurant's habit of taking familiar flavors and giving them thoughtful refinement. My sticky rice ice cream, finished with mango sauce and toasted coconut, captured everything I love about mango sticky rice while transforming it into something lighter and more playful. It was creative without feeling gimmicky. My wife ordered three macarons from local pastry maker Macaroner, S'mores, Passion Fruit, and Lime Coconut. Each shell was delicately crisp before giving way to a soft, airy center, exactly as a proper macaron should. Stage Kitchen & Bar takes familiar dishes and quietly elevates them through technique, quality ingredients, and restraint. Nothing feels overcomplicated or designed simply to impress. Every plate feels carefully considered. Sometimes trusting Google is a gamble. This time, it paid off. Great restaurants don't always announce themselves. Sometimes they're simply waiting for hungry travelers willing to take the next exit.

I agreed that sounded like an excellent idea. Patio Tapas and Beer was supposed to have a good happy hour 5pm-7pm so we went with that. Its located in a tough spot to get a parking spot in South Mizner area, but we got lucky and landed a spot right by the front door. They had just moved to this new location from nearby a few months ago. It still felt kinda new inside in a good way. There wasn't many people there when we arrived. We were able to easily get a couple spots at their nice oaken bar. There were a handful of friendly staff there that were quick with some wine and some of their happy hour Montaditos. We tried the sangria as well which they had a large container of on the bar. We tried the potatoes, duck breast, shrimp, and Jamon iberico and manchego. Everything was darn good, the iberico possibly the best. Oh, and the Spanish omelet was a nice bite as well. It was a nice happy hour; much better than going to the gym. We will have to stop in again soon. They had alot of different plates to try.

They still have patio seating, which is smaller but slightly better views. Service is always good, attentive, and helpful. We usually come for happy hour to take advantage of their large menu of montaditos. I think they're all pretty good but our favorites are the piquillo relleno--a small, whole stuffed red pepper with goat cheese, the classic pan con tomate, churrasco, and cordero estofado. I would say those are the most flavorful ones and on our regular rotation. They also have an almond cake we always order that is imported from Spain. Served warm and à la mode, it has a little crusty edge and a very moist, dense crumb. Not too sweet. Sometimes they serve it drizzled with chocolate and I prefer it without.

I liked the overall pace of the service since nobody rushed me to order more once I finished eating. Service was also very slow, even when it wasn't busy. Everything took longer than expected and seemed disorganized. On top of that, the bartender was rude and unwelcoming. I was also charged for another person's drink without being asked or informed; which was unacceptable and felt careless. The staff seemed "blind" to how to properly run a restaurant. For the prices being charged, I expected much better food, service, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
