    Porkchop

Had been wanting to come here for a while and while it was good... it wasn't as good as I expected. The crab cake was pretty good! The porkchop was tender but as were the steak tips! The service was good.

I went here to celebrate both my birthday and my mom's birthday with the family. This location is pretty popular and always full we did get seated in the back corner which is a perfect spot. Our server Kara was quite knowledgeable with the dishes and very attentive even excited to take photos of the family at the end for the celebration. I ordered conch fritters and lobster bisque as an appetizer which was quite tasty. For my entree I ordered the seafood pescatore with a half a lobster tail. I did have to pull the shell away from the lobster and gave the mussles and clams to my son as I'm not a fan of those but enjoyed the rest of the dish. Everyone's dish was flavorful and I had some to take home. The pricing is a little above average for the plates. The server gave birthday ice cream with a cute happy birthday message on the plate. There is inside and outside seating . The outside seating had lights that made it inviting aside from some smokers that I noticed when I walked into the restaurant, the one reason I personally would not choose to sit outside. They also have a bar inside you can sit at. Reservations are recommended as this place is quite busy. There is ample parking in front and on the side.

Working out of town always gives me a chance to discover new places. I met a few friends for dinner and they suggested Bimini Twist. It was a good choice! We had reservations but I didn't think it was necessary. The parking situation was a bit full, but luckily there was plenty of seating. It was rather noisy inside so we chose the outside seating area. The weather was absolutely beautiful so it was a good decision. We ordered some appetizers to share like the pita and hummus, escargot, and tuna dip. I had the sea bass with asparagus and rice. My friends got fried shrimp, two of them ordered mahi entree. I thought the escargot was flavorful and buttery but didn't love the pastry puff. The appetizers were average but my sea bass was the star of the show. It was really well seasoned and flaky. I'm definitely a big fan of the Miso sea bass but is one was pretty good. My friends all were a little jealous because they were happy with their dishes. The server was knowledgeable and great customer service. He was attentive and so were the support staff. It was one of the better seafood meals I've had and I'd come back to try other items on their menu in the future.

My FAVORITE place to come and I don't even live locally. I travel 3 hours to eat here. The blackened chicken risotto is my favorite thing to get here besides the bread, and any of the homemade sauces ! Or the spicy chicken sandwich! Cannot rate this place high enough. Please open another location in Orlando!!

This place was delicious! I have been here many times in the past but haven't gone back in years. This place takes you to the tropics right as you walk in. We sat outside which was nice but there was a lot of flying bugs which made it a little annoying but other than that great. The service was great and all three dishes were amazing and large portion sizes very shareable. The only thing J would say is that I got the coconut mojito and it was super sweet wasn't a the biggest fan. I would definitions back!

My line sisters and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary together here on a Saturday evening. Our reservation was for 7:15pm and we were promptly seated when we arrived. We were a large party and I believe although the space was tight (really getting into the booth, not necessarily once seated) they did a great job accommodating 20+ people. For $90 we were provided with a three course prefixed dinner menu (to include soft drinks, no alcoholic beverages). Once everyone was seated our waiters began to take our drink orders and appetizers began to flood the table shortly after. We started with bang bang shrimp. Very sweet and slightly spicy. I loved that the shrimp weren't overly breaded. Next came out the spinach and artichoke dip. Quite a few of my line sisters passed on the dish immediately (I can only assume from previous encounters) but I thought the chips were fried nicely and the dip had a nice flavor although there was way too much cheese to really get to it. Last of the appetizers was the calamari which tasted very fresh. I however, wasn't a fan of the dip. By the end of appetizers our entree orders were being taken. I decided on the filet mignon (medium well) and a side of 'loaded' mashed potatoes. Again, too much cheese but good consistency in the mash portion size was big. The steak however tasted ehh. A little burnt and needed steak sauce but I honestly was so full I didn't bother in asking and requested a box instead. We ended the night with a dessert sampler which included a chocolate brownie, chocolate cake, key lime pie, bread pudding and crème brûlée cheesecake. We devoured everything except the bread pudding. The crème brûlée cheesecake and Keylime pie being my favorite tying neck and neck. Everything else also delicious but those two reigned supreme ending the night off wonderfully. Throughout the evening I enjoyed two strawberry margaritas which were refreshing and delicious ($23 in total). I would return.

First time here and honestly have been meaning to come here based on a recommendation. Met Cheryl the GM at the front door. Absolutely welcoming and lovely. We learned of the early bird specials which was an awesome deal!! Our server Connor was over the top amazing as well. But, the food. Fantastic. Started with the onion ring tower. Excellent. Husband had the pork chop and he's still talking about it...I had the chicken sandwich which was incredibly tasty. Sweet potato fries yummm. Other pic is steak tips. A bit fatty but enjoyable. Drinks were flowing and ended on the hot brownie !!! Lastly the interior and exterior is well planned. For a Sunday evening it was packed!!! We are actually already talking about going back!!

Pleasure dining at Bimini twist last night! Got lucky with bar area seats on a busy Saturday night around 7p, highly recommend reservations. It's an American seafood fare focused eatery offering grill items such as various steak cuts. Cocktails are pretty classic. Not upscale per se but quite nice and existing over 20 years they are doing things right! Inside is kitschy and clean with a partially open kitchen. Skip was the kindest most on point server and Sharon offer A+ hospitality as well. We had the spicy calamari (sauce on the side to keep it crispy per Skip's rec) it was perfectly crispy with tender squid inside, it worked surprisingly well with the blue cheese also. The Mahi Mahi with added bernaise was lightly seasoned to accentuate the freshness, delicious alongside the Spinach Maria and homemade sweet potatoes fries with a superb sweet cinnamon sauce. My BOB bubbles cocktail was strong and delightful, the pear martini was nice but not my fave with the aftertaste. Tasted my friend's bimini shrimp it was fresh but just ok. Had plenty of leftovers for the next day that reheated deliciously. I would certainly go back when I visit WPB again!

Ask the Community - Bimini Twist

Need to make a dinner reservation. I tried calling but couldn't get an answer?

They open at 5PM and they utilize Open Table; therefore, you don't need to call. I hope this is helpful. ;)

    Do they have happy hour?

No, but they do offer an early bird menu.

Has anyone had the king crab legs? Are they boiled or broiled?

Steamed. But understand King Crab is not a local seafood!!!

    Is the outdoor patio dog-friendly?

Yes it is dog friendly there is access to the patio from the parking lot. If needed they will also bring your dog a bowl of water.

Is eating dinner at the bar permissible?

Yes! It is a bit crowded and noisy during the rush hours, but it is often the fastest way to eat. For a quieter seat, ask for an outside table, still cool enough in the evening and good service there too.

We went for an early dinner, and parking was easy with plenty of spaces available. One downside before even getting there was the road leading into the restaurant, lots of potholes and gravel made it feel a little rough getting in. Service started a bit slow as it took some time before we were greeted, but once our server came over, she immediately brought water and was very friendly throughout the meal. The menu was a little confusing and felt all over the place. The "appetizers" were mostly fried foods that honestly seemed more like à la carte meal items. Along with that, they offered low country boil bags, fried rice dishes, and Asian noodle options, just an unusual combination overall. We ordered one of the boil bags along with a few appetizer items. Everything tasted good, and there really wasn't anything bad about the food. The crab legs were definitely the highlight of the meal. That said, nothing really stood out enough to make it memorable, especially for the price point. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it's probably a one-and-done visit for us. Glad we tried it, but not somewhere we'd likely return to.

We walked in without a reservation since our original restaurant in plan was closed. We found parking easily and were seated at our table immediately. We got very lucky that there were barely any customers at 3pm on a Friday! We ordered 12 steamed oysters with the house blend spices and they were delicious!! Mild spice from the Cajun, buttery, sadly just a touch over cooked, but the flavor more than made up for it. We also ordered buffalo wings with onion rings, a dirty martini and a down beat mule (Moscow mule). I wish I had space for a boil! Now I just have a reason to come back. Definitely a must try! Service was prompt, restaurant was clean, no frills.

We didn't have a very good meal here at all. They feature "Cajun" food per their signage, but what we ordered was quite under seasoned and blah. I didn't feel like getting messy, so ordered off their non-seafood boil portion of their menu. I started with a half dozen steamed oysters. I chose garlic butter as my topping. The oysters were okay, but were minuscule and topped with faience (fake melted "butter") and a ton of chopped garlic. In fact, there was more garlic than oyster in each shell! After the oysters, I had their seafood gumbo. It was supposed to have shrimp and calamari, chicken and sausage and okra, et al. Instead it was like a rice gruel in a brown colored base. The only seafood were 4 teeny tiny bits of shrimp. And none of the other things indicated on the menu were there either. The broth was totally tasteless. I tried unsuccessfully to "doctor" it with Tabasco and lemon and salt. When asked about it by the waitress, I told her it was awful. She didn't do anything about it. My husband got their fried oyster basket. His oysters were institutionalized premade little heavily breaded squares. Strange, since they have fresh oysters in house. And the fries that came along side were coated -- not his favorite. I'm of the opinion that if something is listed on a menu, it should be as good as all their other food. Or they shouldn't offer it. If this experience is any indication of their kitchen"s abilities, I'd skip the extremely expensive seafood boils here, as well. When the best item we had was their saltine crackers, you know we won't be returning...
