Outstanding service! Even with specific request for how sweet my wife's drink needs to be! Great happy animal details, and fun festive atmosphere. Happy hour is 7 days, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

A couple of had Mahi sandwich which were very good. One of us had fish n chips which had too much fried dough and not enough fish. One us had a burger. Ask for medium and rare. Service was great but was told was her last week. Ambiance one of kind and I would go back again.

This is a great corner restaurant with plenty of seating indoors and out. We sat outside and quickly got water and had a drink order taken. I was just getting over the flu and wanted something comforting and easy on the stomach so I settled on chicken quesadillas. The menu is extensive but these looked the perfect fit. They arrived looking good, but first bite told me I ordered the wrong thing. The chicken was spicy and I was afraid I would upset my stomach worse so didn't eat more than one bite. So disappointing as I hadn't eaten in 3 days and wanted something good. I double checked the menu and it did not mention spices in the chicken. The server never questioned why I hadn't touched my food when he took it away

Great ribs, beach‑bar vibes, and a shark judging every bite. We're gonna need a bigger plate... maybe a bigger boat.

Jonnny Longboat is a cool nautical pirate themed kind of place. I love the decor and I love the food. Tonight they had oysters on the half shell and I split an order of nachos with my wife. Everything is great from the rum buckets that we ordered to the service that we received and of course the atmosphere of the place. I just love it. They've got my vote for one of my favorite kind of places, can't wait to go back and eat again.

What a treat that Johnny's has partnered with Wok by the Beach next door: Sushi at the shore! Several servers scrambled to take our orders, and the soccer/weekend crowd was laidback and loving it!

Receipt.

Rudest server at bar. Confusion with order asked for items forgotten and confusion. "I'm not a mind reader". Just offer to fix the problem. No need for snarky comments. Just get it right ask and clarify.

I'm giving Johnny Longboats a 3.7. Not quite a 4, but also not quite a 3. If you are going there it's because you're at the beach and want a fun atmosphere. The food is typical dive bar food. My husband had the special: lobster roll. It wasn't great. Lots of mayo. I had the Cabo wabo burger. That was pretty good. Just lacked salt. We sat at the bar. The service was decent. Again, don't come here thinking you're getting top of the line food. You're going for the atmosphere and the beach.

Shrimp quesadilla

I was in Riviera Beach to do some SCUBA, so my group and I decided to come here for dinner after a long day of dives! There's plenty of parking and the restaurant is super spacious and ideal for large groups. Our waitress was a little spacey, but it was towards the end of the night and the place was still packed. She was kind enough to go back and replace an order she got wrong. I ordered a margarita and a shrimp quesadilla for my meal. The drink was pretty standard, not super heavy on alcohol. The quesadilla was delicious - a little oily, but loved the peppers, onions, and melty cheese inside! Overall. touristy place but decently prices and great menu options and accommodations for a large group.

We decide to check these guys out for dinner & drinks since they happen to also be one of the few places that's open a bit later. Drinks we had the Frozen mojitos, nice & refreshing good taste. Appetizers the Rib tips were very good, nice tasting sauce, really good garlic knots, buttery & good garlic taste. Food comes with A little side Salad was not bad, decent with the dressing. Main dishes I had the Shrimp scampi this was very good, good shrimp & pasta nice big dish. Hubby had the Mahi Mahi tacos w Mac & cheese, also good. This was way too much food made for great left overs the next day for lunch. Big place, fun decor our waitress was very nice & attentive, price wise reasonable & they give u good size food portions we enjoyed our drinks, food & time here.

Did they have grouper in a bag?

Yes, it's been awhile since I've been there, but I remember that being on the menu.

The best part of the meal was the bread and olive oil they gave us in the beginning of the meal. Bread was warm, crackly crust. We sat in the inside but the windows were open to the outside so you still feel like you're part of the life happening outdoors. I'm also a really big fan of their bar area. There partial indoor/outdoor seating. The inside has a real cute rustic Italian vibe. Our waitress Summer was amazing! Since it was our first time she helped guide us through the menu and made some great recommendations. She informed us that it is a scratch kitchen so I was excited to taste some fresh food. We started off with her recommendation of the house baked artisan bread. It does change, but it was absolutely delicious! My favorite was the sesame sourdough. For entree we got the Caesar salad which I loved. It was perfectly dressed with just the right amount of dressing and the dressing had a great balance of zest. The croutons were also crunchy and fresh. We also got the Piccante pizza which was so yummy! It has spicy salami and peppadews. I personally didn't find the pizza to be spicy but I am definitely not "Spicy Sensitive". I absolutely loved the little peppadews. They were like little bursts of flavor when you would bite into one. For dessert we got Summer's recommendation of the raspberry lemon bombolini as she told us the chef was testing out the flavors. It was so so good!! The bombolini itself was not greasy at all and was stuffed with a bunch of the raspberry cream. The lemon icing on top was nice and tart and made your mouth water with every bite! Definitely a great place to hang out.

We made a 8pm reservation and arrived a few minutes early, so we grabbed some wine and headed outside. For some reason, the bartender wasn't friendly at all towards our group, but I'm letting that slide. Anyway, when we sat down, they immediately brought us a bread basket that included their homemade focaccia bread and butter, which was wonderful. For appetizers, we split their meatballs and their zucchini fritters. The fritters were incredible. The dishes looked huge, so we split two dishes between the four of us. The chicken francese had a ton of flavor, it did taste like an old school NY/NJ spot. It was 100% on point. After our meal, they gave us a bit of lemoncello and homemade Italian cookies, which were fabulous! Service was good too. (Please note, it's beer and wine only). Also, there isn't much of a bar, (we weren't sure before we arrived). Had a great experience though!

We ordered calamari and meatballs as our app and neither knocked our socks off. The meatballs needed more sauce / flavor. The calamari does come with peppers. We got the branzino special and that was the only thing special about it. Our waiter was amazing and very friendly. The best thing we had all night were the cookies. This is not an old school red sauce Italian type place if that is what you are looking for. Overall I'm not sure we would return because it's not our style.

Several semi booths surround the restaurant with very plush seating and chairs facing the other way. Several full tables in the center of the restaurant and a large bar in the back. My only complaint about the seating is that it makes you quite a bit lower than the table. I'm 6 foot 3 and my head was just barely above the table. The menu was small, but that's OK. I like a small menu. The hot rolls they begin with were fresh and warm. They could've used a little butter, but other than that they were quite tasty. The clam appetizer that we got was amazing. piled high with clams in the shell and topped with a large amount of chopped clams served in a white wine, buttery, garlicky sauce. My lobster raviolis were tender, full and covered in a delicious sauce. My brother's rigatoni Bolognese was perfectly al dente and covered with plenty of wonderful meat sauce. For dessert, I had a luxurious piece of chocolate upon chocolate cake while my brother enjoyed a raspberry cheesecake. Our server was quite attentive and very friendly. I am happy to say that during the course of our dinner more people did come into the restaurant and by the time we were finishing and were ready to leave there were maybe five or six groups of people eating. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and I would be happy to go there again.
