We came here for brunch on a Sunday after a long paddle, starving and thirsty, and the outdoor seating did not disappoint. We snagged a big round table outside and it was surprisingly quiet for 11:30 on a Sunday, especially given how popular their brunch menu is. Honestly, the menu might be the best part of this place. Its VERY varied! The scrambled egg, bacon, bread, and potato breakfast bowl is only $10 and comes with thick rye toast and really good potatoes. I always go for the breakfast burger though, 1/2 lb angus with bacon, cheese, and a fried egg for $17, and you can swap the breakfast potatoes for their wedge fries, which are unique and delicious. My burger came out more medium well than medium, no pink at all, so it was a little dry, but still tasty overall. Everyone else at the table was happy with their food. They also do 20% off sushi on Sundays, which is a nice touch even if it makes you wonder a little about freshness. Service was the weak point. Our waiter was friendly but pretty scattered & disorganized. He handed out waters & took our orders out of table order and nearly skipped someone entirely; It was a little stressful lol.... When the checks came, he merged mine with my neighbor's and added an iced tea neither of us ordered. Not a big deal, he fixed it, but he also offered us a $5 gift card for the mix up and then never brought it. Small thing, but it left an off note. Still, we love this spot. We went really late at night (after 9:30) as it's one of the places that was still open. It was also Sunday so we got 20% off sushi! Even it being so late the food was good! It wasn't amazing but it was good! I was impressed by all the real lobster stuffed into the lobster roll, it was delicious. The sushi had good flavor and texture, but I really wish they had more menu options with fresh non-spicy salmon. Our server was kind but seemed a bit out of it and checked in on us a bit too frequently, might have been because it was so late and they wanted us out. Lots of hung over and drunk folk on their way out, but besides that it's a solid pick for late night food and one of the only good places still open! Came to Twisted Tuna on a recommendation from a friend. Very cool spot with a nice energy. Definitely the happy hour from 3:30 - 6:30PM lends more to the retirement age crowd but all seem to have a great time. The food was very good. My wife & I had the peel & eat shrimp, Cali Roll, pretzel bites & edamame w/garlic & sea salt. All good! The service was excellent as we never had a beer run dry! I brought my mom here for Mother's Day yesterday after seeing a post on FB. We both loved the buffet options and left stuffed. The prices were $42.99 for adults and $19.99 for children over 3. We did the 2:30 seating so we came hungry. The buffet charges a mandatory 20% tip, and I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly all of the staff was. They were super helpful and attentive. After our late lunch my mom and I hung out downstairs so my kids could play a bit and I realized ever though it was si day, they have Happy Hour 7 days a week from 3-6. Absolutely delicious. We love this place. Sat outside so our daughter could play with the big Jenga and connect 4. The food was so good, I forgot to take pictures of it. Twisted Tuna is close to where we live, so we frequent the place . Great happy hour everyday. Daily food specials . Last night was buck a shuck oyster night. Went with another couple. My buddy and I each ate two dozen oysters. Girls had different fish dishes. We also had garlic edamame( fantastic) and a Sexy Yellowtail Roll ( also amazing) . In addition they gave us an order of garlic knots on the house. Everything was delicious and our server Sam was terrific. You can't go wrong stopping here for a bite. My receipt showed a $3 charge labeled "Rocks." I asked some friends at the bar why I was being charged for what I thought was ice. One friend and I then asked the bartender, Lacey, why there was a charge for ice. Lacey replied that it was a "rocks pour" and immediately walked away. I asked, "So the ice is charged separately?" At that point, Lacey and the other bartender responded very loudly that it was a rocks pour. Lacey went on to explain that she had been to Colorado and other states and that this was how it was done there. Instead of simply explaining the charge, I felt like I was being lectured in front of the entire bar. I have lived and traveled in many states and had never encountered a separate "rocks" charge before. I have also been a regular customer at Twisted Tuna and have seen guests order wine and ask for glasses of ice without being charged a "rocks" fee, which added to my confusion. After the exchange, I understood that a "rocks pour" is not a charge for the ice itself but for a larger pour of liquor served over ice. I appreciate the explanation, but as someone who is new to Florida and unfamiliar with this terminology, I believe a calm, respectful explanation would have been much more appropriate than a loud, demeaning lecture in front of other customers. My boyfriend and I got the seafood artichoke dip, it was really good. Then, we got the gator bites to try them out, they were super good, and it was my first time trying gator, they really did taste like chicken! We also got the hamachi sashimi, really good!! We came in after a show at the Maltz Jupiter Theater. The food is pretty average. The restaurant is themed around fish and water. The server was polite, but didn't come back to check on us. I ordered the meatball Stromboli. It was okay, filled with lots of meat and cheese. I had high hopes for a place with tuna in their name. My tuna nachos were very bland and the tuna tasted like nothing. The fries were good. The edamame I had with garlic and balsamic were good but very heavy-handed on the garlic, which was not ideal so I couldn't finish them, but they were tasty, the ones I had. The margarita pizza was a bit bland, not a lot of basil flavor on that and it was watery because of the slices of tomato on it so I would not get that pizza selection again. read more

Had high hopes when we saw the tiki bar outside, but it went down hill from here. We ordered the artichoke seafood dip, it was dry and the melted cheese on top was hard as a rock. We sent back the lobster Mac and cheese because it has a weird choline taste. Lastly a member of our party got a burger which made a reappearance a few hours later. The seafood artichoke was tasteless goo. Then the entrees came lukewarm--that was a warning. The "Sushi Grade Tuna" was a pale pink, not the bright cherry red it should have been-another warning. It was tough, dry and bland. The accompanying rice noodles were stuck together. The blackened salmon was only slightly better. I suspect the food was precooked, frozen, and then thawed. Loved this lunch spot right near the beach. We were here right as they opened before going to the beach and it was great. We opted to sit outside in their covered porch that has ample airflow and fans for the hotter days. We started off with a round of drinks. The piña colada and rum rummer are a must try here. Next we ordered an oyster Rockefeller appetizer to start. The sushi here was well priced and delicious. My boyfriend ordered a California roll that came with limp crab meat rather than imitation crab. The black dragon roll was delicious, and even had a kick of spice. The coconut shrimp platter I highly recommend as it is a large portion of shrimp and fries. Our server was great and made sure we constantly had refreshed beverages. I don't know how to start this exactly. My daughter and I were visiting a friend this week and she highly recommended the twisted tuna. She is a local and frequents here often. Drinks came out. Orders taken. All seemed to be going very smooth. We started with the tuna nachos. This was not nachos. Just be careful when you order it. Should be more of a tuna toast. We mentioned it to our server who in turn sent a manager over. I can appreciate this as policy, but it wasn't asked for. We then proceeded to wait 30 minutes for our food. My daughter was able to create an artistic masterpiece on the child's menu is the time we spent waiting. When our food finally came out, no apology was given for the wait and my friend insisted this is not common. She didn't know why it took so long. This place is always prompt. I ordered a sushi roll and it also was just ok. Nothing was knock your socks off. My husband is active duty military and I always ask if an establishment offers a military discount. Most due. Twisted tuna was no different. However, they said they only will give the discount if we are in uniform. What ?? Typically it's a yes or no unless it's fleet week. Again, a manager was called over. He explained the nearest military establishment is an hour away. Umm. Ok. I guess nobody would ever think of commuting an hour to get to work ? (I do daily ). Anyway, it was an odd policy. After all was said and done, they did make it right sorta speak and comped the tuna nachos (that are nothing more than tuna crackers with some seaweed salad ). We are back home in nj now. The other reviewer Dave G is correct when he says Garrett creates a warm and inviting dining experience. It is reflected in all of his staff who are warm and personable as well. We visit once or twice a year when we are in town from Michigan visiting family. We go to multiple venues from North Palm Beach to the Gardens to Jupiter and Juno Beach because there are places everywhere however the twisted tuna is the venue that we repeat the most during our 7 days in Florida each trip. The food is incredible The prices are reasonable in the atmosphere is warm and inviting complimented by the staff and managements attention to their guests. Plenty of outdoor seating as well. Although we prefer their delicious tropical drinks some we've never heard of before you can also get a hot cup of "Hot and Boozy" spiked espresso. Its off the hook, off the chain, and off anything that Guy Fieri could come up with. We have never had a meal here that we did not like. We enjoy sporting their apparel up here in Michigan as well. Put on a blindfold throw your finger onto the menu and then take the blindfold off and see what you've selected.... it will definitely be delicious. When I tell you my family loves this restaurant we always try and pop in right after a day at the beach.
