From the start, the bartender (Olivia) came across very cold--no smile, no welcoming energy, just going through the motions. Service felt flat the entire time. I specifically asked for very light ice in my drink and even said I didn't care if the glass wasn't full. The drink still came out packed with ice, and I had to ask for a separate cup and spoon to fix it myself--which shouldn't happen. What really stood out was the lack of attention. We were there for about 35 minutes, and not once did she come back to check on us--no "How is everything?" and no offer for another drink. Meanwhile, she spent more time in the back talking with a coworker than actually servicing her customers. There was also confusion when we asked for the check, which just added to the overall disorganization. There are like three different fish to choose from for the local catch, I believe it was tripletail, snapper and something else. We were able to make a reservation right on Yelp. The portions are HUGE. You are better off sharing a few plates of sushi or their sushi dogs. We easily could get "hooked" on Hooked On Jupiter. Everything was outstanding. The menu is eclectic and creative. We ordered (and split) one appetizer and one main - and were full. Portions are generous. The Hurricane Tower was exceptional - the mix of sushi rice topped with grilled shrimp, ahi tuna, avocado, wasabi cream cheese, cilantro and more, held together by a wasabi sauce and eel sauce was simply amazing. My party couldn't keep up with how fast the person was walking and she sort of just pointed to the table. Our waitress was very pleasant but perhaps had too many tables. My daughter came to town and was begging for a seafood quesadilla. She looked at the menu and decided we would come here. I have been to happy hour at the bar in the past but have not had an actual meal. I ordered the lunch special - Crab & Lobster Bisque and 2 shrimp tacos. We drove down to Jupiter to meet up with friends at the Dive bar who ended up cancelling last minute. I'm not a fan of the place and started looking on Yelp for a different options near by. We tried the lobster taco, tuna taco and the coconut roll off the happy hour menu. 10 out of 10. The regular menu I honestly wanted everything. We ordered the crabcakes which was phenomenal and definitely a different way of representing the dish. It was sitting on a bed of coleslaw. Which sounds strange to me and I'm not much of a coleslaw fan, but this definitely worked. According to the bartender, they've only been open for a year and I guess the word hasn't gotten around that this place needs to be checked out as soon as possible. We ordered some happy hour drinks but ended up venturing onto the regular price drinks. I saw the nighty night drink. That needs to be ordered immediately if you like bourbon.
