They have the cutest outdoor patio area and although we couldn't snag a seat there it was nice to hang out and enjoy the vibes while we waited for our table. Really great taco restaurant! We went around 2:30 on a Saturday and still had about a 10min wait because it's so popular. They have a Papi Hour menu with 50% OFF drinks and discounts on some menu items, which was great savings. I ordered the El Dorado margarita that had an incredible blackberry and basil flavor full of fresh fruit pieces. For my meal I tried a combination of 3 tacos. The Gringo Freedom Taco was my favorite with tender ground beef seasoned with a slight spice, fresh pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce on a hard shell. Called in a takeout order and I was hesitant to open the bag because it was difficult to order over the phone with all of the background noise....but I was wrong! They got the order right and I was surprised I enjoyed this meal as much as I did. I think it would have been amazing if we would've sat there and ate because it would've been hot. I got the papi margarita, cauliflower taco, brisket quesadilla (no mayo), chicken quesadilla, pork burrito, and Mexican donuts. Everyone enjoyed their meals but what stood out was the brisket and donuts! I went here for Taco Tuesday happy hour with a couple of friends. The drinks were delicious and were half price which was a great deal. I had the watermelon margarita and the pineapple mojito. Both were excellent and made with real fruit instead of a mix. I also ordered a brisket taco and a chicken taco. Both were really good. We also ordered the yuca fries and queso and chips for appetizers-very tasty. We sat out on the patio and it had a really great laid back atmosphere. After some errands, we decided to go to PapiChulo for some tacos and a drink. Smart move on our part. We were greeted and seated quickly, though it's a small place, you may have to wait. Once seated we found it to be too cold, we were under the Air Con vent and it was blowing! We spoke with the hostess who took it to the manager. He came over, introduced himself, and turned off the air for us. Mind you, the weather was perfect and doors were open so it was still very nice. Excellent customer care right away, nice. We ordered some drinks which were delicious and quick to the table. Next was a round of chips, salsa, and queso. Another good choice. Then we ordered our meals. I had barbacoa tacos by the platter. So three tacos, beans, and rice. The barbacoa was tender, juicy, and flavorful like I've never had barbacoa before. I'd say, it's the best I've tasted. My wife got the gringo tacos which are ground beef, kind of the classic taco we all know. Those were also spot on. Note: I could not eat all three of my barbacoa, they were quite full of meat and filling. Plus I was saving room for dessert. We ordered the doughnuts. Another good choice. They were light with a great crunch of cinnamon sugar and served with a vanilla dipping sauce, as it were. Tasty. It's a great place, with wonderful food, and a super vibe. You know the business has amazing food if the plaza next door has an official sign that says "No PapiChulo parking!" We had a great time dining here last Friday night. A little concerned that it would take a long time because we could already tell how packed the restaurant was getting. We had a hard time finding parking in their lot behind the restaurant but eventually we found one. We chose to sit up at the bar and it was a nice indoor / outdoor breeze. Our bartender served us up a tasty margarita and was always right in front of us for the best service necessary. We ordered some tacos and wow the food hit within 5 minutes! It was also delicious. I have eaten at the Royal Palm location but this was my first time here at the Jupiter location. Same great taste and colorful decor. I can't say enough great things about the Carne Asada tacos. In deciding what to have for dinner, a friend of mine highly recommended PapiChulo's since we were in the area. Our kids were kind of rowdy so she figured the outside atmosphere would be a great place for them to run around, although it was a little stressful with the cars speeding by right there. The service was very slow and at one point the manager was doing his rounds to make sure that everyone had what they needed, which we didn't so he ended up buying us a round of drinks, which was great customer service. Our server was very nice, just seemed very distracted. As far as the food, I was very impressed and I liked how I could order a la carte instead of committing to 2 or 3 of the same taco. The menu explicitly states "no substitutions" but I still asked our server if I could remove anything and add something else, to which she said that's fine, you'll just be charged for anything you add, even if you take something off, which I find cheeky but whatever. It's nice that they have a lot of vegetarian options, just no vegan options so if I wanted to take off the avocado crema, I'd get charged to put a slice of actual avocado on there. If I were the business owner, I'd consider adding a vegan option. Overall, I really enjoyed dinner and it was a wonderful evening. Parking is a bit of a challenge so you might have to park in the plaza next door, which says it's prohibited but our car was fine. The prices here are reasonable but it definitely adds up after ordering a few dishes. We will definitely be back, probably at happy hour next time! read more

We have been going here for a few years on Taco Tuesday. Cute place just over the bridge on US 1 in Tequesta. On Tuesdays they have tacos and street corn for 3.75 each. All drinks are half price. It's a pretty good deal and as you can imagine there is always a wait. They do not take reservations. Food is delicious. I recommend the fried mahi, al pastor and barbacoa tacos. If the weather were better, the outdoors is very cute, and makes you forget about where you are (in a strip mall). We started with the chip trio, and loved the tomatillo (green) salsa. For dinner, I had a blackened fish taco and a coconut shrimp taco. Both were excellent but I preferred the fish one, and it was INCREDIBLE. There was a wonderful balance of flavors. The coconut shrimp was also delicious, and you could taste the fresh coconut on the shrimp. My husband had the fried fish taco and carne asada, and he raved about them. Tacos were super fresh and had such amazing and colorful additions. The flavors were astounding. The enchiladas were creamy and soft and hot and delicious. The bar was a little sticky. Using the Toast App, I ordered take out, at 9pm on a Saturday and everything came out timely & delicious! My two tacos were the coconut shrimp (which was balanced, and flavorful) and the fried Mahi Taco, with some nutty black garlic sauce! Excellent- but the star of the show was definitely the Coconut Flan. Dense but not too sweet- the toasted coconut shavings were a delightful addition to the flan. The place was super cute, I wish I had time to eat in but I was just looking for a quick bite and it was a rainy night. Next time I'll stay for a cocktail or two! read more
