I've been to Square grouper a couple times with my group of friends this particular night we went to Square grouper after getting dinner in the area. The parking situation is always very hectic, but luckily there's a parking lot where lucky shack and topside is. We got there around 9 PM and I wasn't super packed yet. There was plenty of tables and chairs available to sit down at and the bar service was also pretty quick. Our drinks tasted great and we were able to get them pretty quickly from the bartenders. The music that was playing from the live band was great and upbeat and we all had a great time together that night. If you're visiting the Jupiter area, this is definitely one of the places to stop by! read more

I wouldn't call this a tiki bar, there was one building that had a tiki design. The rest was a regular sports bar. So don't expect any special cocktails or drinks here. Nice atmosphere by the water, live band on a Thursday night. Wasn't too crowded so got drinks fast. Nothing special but a good sports bar/chill spot. read more

After a late-morning scuba diving trip with Kyalami Dive Charters (love those guys!) my wife and I found ourselves in a familiar situation: salty, hungry, thirsty, and in need of a little post-dive recovery. Fortunately, the Square Grouper Tiki Bar was just a few steps away from where we boarded the boat. We split an order of coconut shrimp with sweet-and-sour sauce, along with a "Chubby Cuban" sandwich (I can relate ). The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the Cuban was well made and satisfying. The fresh-hot fries were crispy and a perfect pairing with a tasty post-dive meal. To complete the recovery process, we washed it all down with a couple of ice-cold bottled beers while soaking up the laid-back waterfront atmosphere and some live music. Friendly service, good food, cold drinks, and an ideal location for divers, anglers, and anyone looking to enjoy a little slice of Jupiter. A friend recommended so we decided to visit. Located on the water near the inlet. The atmosphere was amazing. All the tables, bar and high tops are located outside. The weather was warm but it had a nice ocean breeze. No table service. You go up to the bar and order food and drinks. They give you a pager. When food is ready they notify you and you go pick it up. It's definitely a laid back atmosphere. They did have a pretty good live band playing as well. We ordered drinks, as well as coconut shrimp which were cooked to perfection, chili nachos tasty and very cheesy and a Cuban sandwich which was also delicious. What a great day. Very cool spot on the Jupiter Inlet with great view of the lighthouse across the inlet! The food was very good as I had the Mahi sandwich with a side salad. The piece of fish they use was bigger than the bun and the blackened flavor was spot on. My wife had the Grouper fingers which were cooked just right and an ample portion to boot! FYI, plenty of seating but you do all your ordering at the bar area for beverages and food. They will give you a pager type device that will tell you when your food is ready and you pick up at a designated space near the bar. My friends and I came out for a fun night at the Square Grouper Tiki bar. The entrance is fun and inviting. I love the way it's lit up. It would not have hurt my feelings to have been carded. . The boys at the front would have scored brownie points for that! We were able to walk over by the water and take some beautiful pictures of the lighthouse. The favorite drink of our group was the Inlet Breeze. Scott was a great bartender! We came to see my friend's band, Miss Dympsey's Class, perform. We found a table close to the stage and had room to dance as well. They played mostly rock, including Lynyrd Skynyrd. The great seemed to be having a blast as well. The weather was great and the breeze felt nice. We will definitely go back again. read more

This chicken sandwich was FIREEE. Best thing I ate during the whole trip. It was really to die for I will tell ya! The chicken was so juicy and the Brie was soooo good with the sauce. We came to watch the Eagles beat the Chiefs. Brianna took excellent care of us at the smaller bar area. It is a great location to hang out for drinks and bar food. There's a parking lot. It's mostly outside. When we arrived there was live music. Once they finished, there was great yacht rock and classic rock music. I love it here. read more

I went here last night with some friends to celebrate, and was having a great time, but one of the bartenders completely ruined my evening. We were standing on the side of the bar for hours, and my tab was at $200 at the end of the night. We were drinking and dancing, and nobody said a word to us the whole night. Then, when it started getting busy, this extremely rude, low life bartender (white male, 40-50 yrs old) kept telling me to move down the bar for some reason, with no explanation. We didn't understand why as I've worked in food and beverage before, and that place only has bartenders, no servers. If I was blocking a bunch of servers getting their drinks from the service bar or something I'd understand, but that was not the case at all. Then, I asked this lowlife bartender if he had a problem with me, and he responded that he did. Again, not sure why. Then, the moron called security over to which I told them the exact thing I'm telling here. This short little manager walked over with two security guys, basically for no reason. I guess they were all mad I was having a good time with friends, and standing on the side of the bar is taboo. The place was packed at that point, not sure where they wanted me to go. And nobody said anything to my two other friends, just me. I paid the tab, and left. Not sure why the idiot bartender had such an issue with me personally, must be mad for being a loser at 45-50 years old, and working behind a bar, who knows. Can't give it the five stars. Been coming here for 20 years. Love this place. This weekend was my first uncomfortable experience. Bartender named Becca. I had not intended to close my tab, but she had closed it for me. She says it's typical to close after ordering one drink. people pay as they go. I was irritated with that response. But it is what it is. As I walked away, I heard her say "you can always go someplace else." oOuch. I might've expressed frustration, but I didn't really deserve that. Chill tiki bar with a live band, 21+ crowd only which ranged heavily from age groups (I saw early 20s to even senior citizens here!) It's on the pier with views of the docks, lighthouse, and small islands. You can walk on the dock with your drinks, too, though you may be at risk of falling into the water. There are no fences whatsoever. The food was casual bar foods, the slushie drinks were the best (I didn't enjoy the lighthouse drink that much), lots of fried finger food options we tried the conch but wasn't a fan of the texture. I went here last night I got a Pina colada and some wings, the inside had a really good vibe and was gorgeous, the servers were very nice as well The wings were pretty good! They fell right off of the bone and were moist, a little fatty though and the drinks were good as well! Had a great experience at Square Grouper in Jupiter. Received a warm greeting from Kim tho it was already getting busy. After taking our order Rebecca came by to check on us and promptly got our team on the TV for Sunday football. Then Ashley came by to give us extra napkins and some ice water to go with my salad. By the way the lime vinaigrette they have is excellent. I first had it at Square Grouper in Ft Pierce recommended by Douglas there and it's one of the reasons I went to Jupiter as well as to visit that location. Now I have 3 great reasons to visit in Kim, Rebecca and Ashley who worked hard to serve the bar, walkups and diners despite the dance floor rocking and the games all starting at the same time. 21+ !!!! Such a fun little spot tucked away in Jupiter on the water. Stopped in here for lunch after a day at the beach. You have to be 21 to get in here, you will get ID'd at the front by bouncers (if you look young). You go up to the bar and order food from there and get a buzzer that will tell you when it's ready to be picked up. Lots of nice seating with shade from palm trees. Monday - $4 beers and $6 onion rings We ordered the hangover burger, onion rings, fries, and conch fritters. Everything was great, good bar food. read more

Loved this tiki bar! It's more than a bar -- it's an entire experience! When you arrive, you go through tiki torches to an outdoor venue along the water, with live music and several bars with thatched roofs. I got a strawberry daiquiri, which tasted like a strawberry purée smoothie!! You can take your drinks on the little boardwalk past fishing boats and can hangout on the water. What a place! I started off with a John Daly as any like mind would, and it was a good balance of Daly and Palmer. Decided to order some fish and chips made with local caught grouper, what a dish! Fish was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the portion was more than enough! Had a few more drinks inspired by the bartenders who were wonderful. Great conversations and a good atmosphere to relax! Impersonal place and the 2 "bouncers " at the entrance weren't friendly and didn't offer menus, we had to ask them but the place was dead. The food is pretty basic. We did love the smoked fish dip. My fish and chips were pretty much what I'd expect at a Dennys. Nothing special, mostly dry breading and a little bit of fish. My husband wasn't impressed with his mahi-mahi sandwich nor my FIL with his bbq sandwich. My drink was great. I think our impression is this is a bar that serves food but not a place you'd go to enjoy food. read more

Having visited the Square Grouper Tiki Bar Jupiter Inlet a number of times over the past three years and within the past week, I continue to highly endorse that venue for the ocean front setting, the atmosphere, the entertainment, the adult beverage offerings, and, particularly, the excellent, friendly, and attentive bar servers. Of note during the visits on the recent trip were the servers, Sierra and Bri! Servers don't get better than those two. I'll look forward to the next travel visit. read more
