We were early for trivia nite but our server was very busy but provided good service even so. I had a beautiful coconut encrusted mahi and it was a generous portion. I also had the broccoli slaw which was FABULOUS! I think if I ever returned I would order it for both my sides! It was fresh and nicely cut and the dressing was fab! I had a Sangria which was not Sangria - what a double disappointment being watery and IN A PLASTIC CUP!!! Yup! Plastic and not fancy plastic. Everyone's cocktails were in cheap plastic cups. On this trip, I wanted to have every meal next to the water if possible and this location fit the bill. Feet in the sand and views of the water with small harbor next-door made for a lively atmosphere and really enhanced our visit. The peel and eat shrimp were excellent, although the presentation could be improved, and the jerk chicken empanadas hit the spot It came as two small-ish sized empanadas, but pack packed full of shredded jerk chicken! Our server was very pleasant and helpful in selecting our menu items. Worst dining experience in my life. four young immature girls were working the hostess desk. They were disorganized, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The tables were full of people who clearly were finished their meal & drinks but continued to sit at the table to listen to the live music while an extended line of potential patrons stood in line at the hostess desk waiting to be seated. This highlighted the restaurant's disorganization and reflected its poor management/oversight. I've been to tiki 52 a few times. The vibes of the place are super nice. You can pull up on your boat or you'd have to valet/pay for parking. The parking lot is very small. But the place is on the water and the prices are pretty good for water front. I always get the shrimp taco bowl which is filling and very good. The service is always on the bad side. I've also been told my friends that their service is not that good. They have a very large selection of drinks at the bar and live music most days of the week. We were able to grab a table however it was a little hot as the overhang does not provide enough shade. My husband enjoyed his brisket panini and my parents also enjoyed the brisket flatbread. Came into town (with no reservation) and although it was an hour wait on a Sunday (this place is popular) we were able to still grab a table and chairs (plenty available) outdoors with our kids and dog. They offered a generous but limited menu for these seats. Beautiful view of the water and boats! But it quickly went beyond small talk; the lead singer made derogatory comments about Hillary Clinton and President Biden. We're a family with a variety of political views, but the remarks crossed into hateful rhetoric that felt wildly inappropriate for a public dining space. When I asked about dock space, he not only completely ignored me, but when I pressed for an answer, he literally told me to "go f*** myself" -- yes, those exact words. I was shocked. His attitude was completely disrespectful and totally uncalled for. Instead of simply saying the docks were full or offering any kind of direction, he chose to be hostile, dismissive, and aggressive. It was the worst treatment I've ever received at a place I used to love.
