Really enjoyed this restaurant! It was a five minute walk from our hotel and had the best setting of any restaurant I visited on this vacation. If the sun is hot or it's raining, there's a giant tiki roof with seating underneath and a quirky swimming pool in the middle. My favorite section is all the sand seating along the edges and out to the point offering a 270° view of the water. We enjoyed our food, the Poke nachos were fairly average but good quality tuna on them and the oysters Rockefeller were fantastic with generous portions of cheese on top. Our server was very helpful with advice on selecting drinks and food and we were very satisfied with our visit. I would definitely come back here to watch the sunset and enjoy a few of their happy hour cocktails. As I have mentioned many times before, I'm worried that this place might become a hidden gem no more, as more people from outside the area start to discover it, and it gets crowded. We love dining at Blue Pointe. It is hands down the best place to cook your fresh catch in the Jupiter/Tequesta area. The rest of the menu is also very good. The service is always on point but Gina is our favorite server. She always has a smile on her face and attends to our needs. This visit we had the mixed grilled trio (new on the menu) and a baked scallop lunch special - both were excellent. We also had our fresh catch Wahoo cooked two ways - blackened and fried - yum! ordered a burger rare to medium came out well done, place was real windy today so we sat near bar. Our server was wonderful. Yuca fries were so unseasoned they were like eating wood!!! Since it was after peak lunch time, burger came out quickly and we were so hungry I ate my burger. Been here a few times, this time was not up to par. I had a Mahi Reuben which was near cold, bread hardly toasted, fries were excellent. The cocktails were surprisingly weak, lacking any detectable alcohol at all. Best place if you want to feel like you're on vacation! The view is beautiful, the food is good, and the service was so friendly. We came around opening time on the weekend and were seated immediately; but within 30 minutes, the restaurant was packed. For food, we split the order of the lobster roll (that already comes split in 2 buns!) The lobster was so refreshing on a hot spring day. The fries were well-seasoned and crispy on the outside. We took a road trip to Blue Pointe Bar and Grill. It's family owned and operated with a 270 degree views of the Intracoastal Waterway. The area is surrounded by palm trees and adirondack chairs on the beach area. This place has great food and drinks poolside. We had the pink lemonade punch bucket, Poke Tuna and blacken chicken tacos. There is a pool that's heated at 86 degrees and family friendly. Guests can take a dip in the pool or chill out at the bar. They have live music and DJ's 7 days a week. As well as 5 boat slips. read more

My friend and I felt like we were in the Keys with how peaceful and laid back this place was. Loved the live music, the pool in the middle is so fun, and great water views. The ambiance was amazing! You are surrounded by water - intracoastal as well as a pool. A steel drum solo artist was playing which added to the laid back feel of the outside restaurant. Parking was plentiful and there is a driver who can transport you from the parking lot to/from the restaurant in a golf cart. We started with a fish dip which was delicious, however our meals were not that tasty. The ice cream cookie sandwich had 2 hard cookies. I preferred to have it soft and warm, but it looked good in the picture.. Our waitress was nice, but seemed in a rush. This little gem is awesome! I almost hate to share! Beautiful location tucked away on the water behind Jupiter Club and Marina. The service is awesome - shout out to LOGAN! Perfect amount of attention. And the food was amazing. We shared the spinach crab dip and roasted garlic shrimp flatbread. VERY yummy and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them both. We are camping at Johnathan Dickinson SP and we wanted to go somewhere close and on Hobe Sound. This was a great choice with a perfect view. We were seated immediately and the staff very pleasant. I had a margarita and hubby has a beer. We ordered smoked fish appetizer which hubby said was good ( I don't eat fish) I had the classic cheese flatbread and hubby had the blackened mahi fish wrap with fries. Well the evening started with a bird taking a dump which landed on my arm. But you know they say that is a good omen. And it was. This place is a find. Excellent, laid back venue right on the Intracoastal Waterway. Our waiter, Logan was excellent. All his recommendations were spot on. The hubs had a 32 Oz Captain Morgan's Punch. He loved it. I had the rose and raspberry spritz. No lack of alcohol in either cocktail. We started with a 1/2 dozen oysters. They were fresh & came with cocktail sauce, horseradish & and red onion mignonette. We ordered a mahi wrap & lobster grilled cheese. Both came with crispy fries which were delicious. The hubs loved the mahi wrap & ate every bite. My grilled cheese was chock full of lobster meat. I took home 1/2 of my sandwich. We will definitely be back & asking for Logan. read more

This is an awesome spot right on the waterway with with a great view. It was pretty packed for lunch on Saturday but we didn't have to wait since there's a lot of seating. There's parking out front and you have to walk a bit of ways to get back to the water but they have a golf cart that will transport you back! Staff was nice and the food was delicious. I tried the lobster grilled cheese for $34, a little pricey but it's lobster and was really tasty. Our party also got the veggie burger which tasted like a real burger and the grilled tropical chicken sandwich which he really liked. Ate here last night with 2 other couples. Parking is a short walk away and they have golf carts to transport you if you don't want to walk. Outdoor/Open air Tiki hut seating. The views are 5 star. With started out with some shrimp ceviche that was very good. The menu is limited with a combination of appetizers, sandwiches, and a choice of about 8 mains. Two of got the Mixed Grill Trio, which comes with a piece of mahi, a piece of chicken , and a piece of steak with grilled veggies and a side. It was good , but lacked seasoning. Two got the burger and said it was good. My wife got the baked salmon Oscar and said it was very good. They had live entertainment. The food was decent, not great, but the location on the intercostal is amazing and the prices are reasonable. They also have a pool right in the middle of the Tiki Hut, so if bringing the kids pack a bathing suit. Service was terrific as well. read more

One Star We had lunch today at Blue Point Bar and Grill with a group of 12 people. It's a cozy, beachside spot with a local, laid-back vibe. The service was good--the waitress was attentive, friendly, and did her job well. For large groups, gratuity is automatically included, which doesn't leave much flexibility in what you can tip. That said, the waitress absolutely deserved the gratuity--our issue was not with the service. We ordered calamari, oysters, and nachos as appetizers. The oysters were good, but the calamari was very disappointing. We ordered two dozen calamari, but what arrived was mostly greasy bread crumbs with barely any calamari. It was overly greasy, overly spicy, and tasted far from fresh. Definitely not fresh calamari. The nachos were also undesirable--very salty, and it wasn't clear what exactly was on them. They definitely need improvement. the dish was very disappointing. Overall, the food was overpriced and lacked flavor. For the prices being charged--especially for a large group--the quality and freshness should be much better. The chef really needs to revisit the menu and make some serious adjustments. I wouldn't recommend this place for food at all. Maybe it's fine for drinks or live entertainment, but if you're coming to eat, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Very dissatisfied. read more

Usually the Sandbar Salad comes with Blackened Mahi, but I asked if I could get it with grilled chicken and they were happy to accommodate....and that is on a Bed of Arugula With Avocado, Crumbled Bacon, Feta Cheese, Plantains, Mango Salsa, and a Signature Key Lime Dressing. Very good. It is always so nice to sit and enjoy a meal in this little slice of paradise. I met 2 friends for lunch and we were all happy with our meals and the service. Blue Pointe Bar and Grill is one of the southernmost bars in Martin County. Located on the Intracoastal, you can find it behind the Jupiter Pointe Club and Marina near Jonathan Dickinson State Park. You have to pay $5 to park but you can have it taken off the check when you purchase food and drink. From the parking lot it is a short walk to the bar or you can hop on the golf carts that you will take you right over. Blue Pointe Bar and Grille looks like the kind of place you would find in the Keys. It is open air and seating is arranged with a view to the beautiful intracoastal and the pool. I loved the laid back beach vibe. There was live music and everyone in the pool looked like they were having a great time. I found a seat at the bar where I ordered a pina colada and an order of pina colada shrimp, a half dozen coconut shrimp served with a pineapple dipping sauce made with shredded toasted coconut, vanilla, and citrus. The dipping sauce was delicious but my drink had zero alcohol and the shrimp were burned to a crisp. I was so disappointed that I decided to just get out of there. The view is five stars but their food and drinks, at least what was served to me, was a no star. read more

I love this place, but and a big "But" the make-shift bathrooms are disgusting. I mean most of the time, they don't flush or overflowing. Every time I've been there, the bathrooms are terrible. I have a lot of friends visiting, I don't take them here because of the bathrooms. My friends won't go here with me because of the bathrooms. I go in hopes that they've cleaned up there act. Both were good- I would suggest to order the tacos lightly blackened as the seasoning is a bit salty. My hubby ordered a rum runner - it was very good. The drinks are served in plastic glasses . While eating we had amazing views of the inner coastal waterway. There was a nice breeze so you do not feel like you are sitting in 80 plus degree weather . This place wins for atmosphere. It's right on the water and has a pool at the center of the outdoor dining area. We were having a family reunion of sorts, so it was nice that people of all ages were welcome (children were swimming in the pool while the parents sipped on their drinks). Our party went on a Thursday evening. The staff was accommodating to my large family and service was fast given how big our table was- and kept growing! We all loved what we ordered- I'd recommend the sandbar salad- blackened mahi served with arugula, avocado, bacon, feta, plantains, mango salsa, and key lime dressing- YUM. This is such a great location! It's on the water and they have two stages for live music. The menu is vast and has some great options. One of my favorites is the lobster flatbread.
