We discovered this gem on our latest trip to Florida. It's located in the corner of a strip mall in tequesta both outdoor and indoor seating lunch and diner offerings The busy bar is a local favorite highlighting the skills Robert the awesome bartender. We were politely greeted and seated in a comfortable table outside. We were greeted by our waitress promptly , who outlined the specials I chose the Italian seafood featured in the ample menu offering burgers, sandwiches and dinner items. The food was at our table quickly and as ordered. The new owner Jorden introduced himself checked that we were satisfied. The atmosphere was casual laid back Florida vibe Friendly atmosphere and staff. Food quality was excellent better than some restaurants costing twice as much Buco is a great place for a casually elegant dining experience. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and were sat down instantly. The server was very kind and went over the menu with us and answered our questions happily. We ordered the calamari and it was very crispy and well cooked, it came with a side of marinara that was amazing as well. We got the meatball sub and it was very well cooked and perfectly put together, the cheese was melty and the sauce was the same served with calamari. Meatballs made in house and were awesome. Food was Delicious!! Have been there twice under the new ownership. If the food was tasty, why the two stars? The servers would rather talk to other staff than engage with customers. This was true both at the bar and at tables. A restaurant is more than just food. Based on our experiences, and wonderful restaurants in the area, it's unlikely we will return. read more

The ambience was great and you felt like you were coming home to a great home-cooked meal as soon as you walk through the door. The aroma in the air was very inviting. The service was top-notch and the food was over the top delicious! We had cocktails to start and wine with our meals. Our friends ordered pasta dishes, I ordered the sole entrée and my husband ordered steak and we all shared a bit of our choice with each other and loved it. The desserts were also very delicious and a great ending to the meal. The atmosphere was cheerful in the restaurant, but not loud even though we were sitting inside and every table was full. They have a lovely outdoor covered area with seating as well, which looked very inviting. We may just try that next time and we are definitely coming back! read more

Experienced a wonderful HH at Buco last evening. Robert provided service with charm and style. He suggested a few appetizers ( meatballs, bruschetta and the Drunken Mussels), which were all fantastic. He also made some serious cocktails: a tequila Cosmo for my wife and I enjoyed a paloma. We drove up to Tequesta to eat at Hog Snappers, but there was an hour wait so we went to Buco. It is located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking with no wait. It has a small indoor area and a large covered outdoor patio. The noise level was a bit high but that was probably due to everyone enjoying the happy hour food and drink prices. The food was excellent. We had the Red Snapper special and a grilled Mahi sandwich with fresh greens on the side. Our server Bobby was tremendous, giving us food recommendations and stopping by the table to make sure we were happy. We will be back! read more

Nice like Italian American Bistro. Originally came to try their cheeseburger but tonight was $5 off pasta dishes so I decided to have the Fettuccine Genovese with shrimp and scallops. First, the we started with fresh bread and cheese sticks. Both were really good! The bread came with an olive oil dip which worked well with the bread and the marinara sauce for the cheese sticks tasted freshly made. The Fettuccine Genovese was awesome! It came out nice and hot with jumbo shrimps and nice sized cut scallops. Overall, the meal was very good and service was excellent. I also got a cheeseburger to go for lunch the next day, since I'm working out of a hotel. We are looking forward to our next trip down and stopping in at Buco's. read more

Honestly just good food. Service was great, food was insane and the ambience was good for loud or quiet. We sat inside - not huge - but a large party would be fine in the outside patio area. We had: Burrata as an app, which was delicious. I had the eggplant and I love that you can order it by itself with no pasta (or you can make it a full entree with pasta). I added a beet salad and it was perfect. Husband had the best burger he's had in years. But the star of the show... the limencello cake. I mean, no words. Just the best I've ever had. I was craving a burger. I researched bear burgers close to where I was and this place came up. I took a chance and went. I asked the waitress what she recommended. I saw $40 fish dishes on the specials board and was surprised when she said "our burgers" Well she was not wrong! I got the burger with Swiss cheese mushrooms and sautéed onions over lettuce. I didn't even need ketchup, the flavor was amazing. It was perfectly cooked to my request of medium rare I also ordered the garlic fries. Again amazing and the amount garlic was perfect ! What a great new spot in tequesta! For starters, they have a large patio with total coverage from the sun so it doesn't eat too hot. There are also fans outside to keep the environment pleasurable. Our waitress was very attentive and had such a nice personality. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. I was so happy with my panini. And the fries are that perfect crunchy type! The menu itself is a little confusing. When you look at it, it seems like the restaurant is having an identity crisis. Almost like one side of the menu is lunch and the other side is dinner. Went to Buco this past Monday with friends and everything was delicious, so much so that we went back the following 2 days. We enjoyed everything we had.
