The Parisian Restaurant…read more I recently celebrated my birthday at The Parisian and hadn't been in several years--wow. It absolutely did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who graciously and happily adjusted our reservation so we could sit outdoors. The evening could not have been more perfect--ideal temperature, beautiful ambiance, and that effortless European charm The Parisian does so well. Our server, Barbie, was exceptional. Open, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, she guided us through the menu and wine selections with ease and confidence. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made the entire experience feel celebratory without ever being intrusive. We started with the mussels, served with outstanding crusty bread. The white wine shallot sauce was, without question, the best I've ever had--rich, balanced, and absolutely crave-worthy. For entrées, we chose the filet (perfectly cooked and full of flavor) and the scallops, which were a special that evening. The scallops were cooked to absolute perfection, paired with pasta and a sauce that was beautifully balanced--elegant, refined, and deeply satisfying. And of course, the French fries deserve their own moment: for fine dining, these fries are legendary and truly a must-order. Dessert was the crème brûlée, and once again--pure perfection. Silky custard, perfectly caramelized top, and the ideal finish to a flawless meal. The Parisian is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why classic, well-executed cuisine never goes out of style. From the hospitality to the food to the ambiance, every detail was thoughtful and polished. I'll absolutely be back--and not waiting several years next time.

Everything was crafted with care and attention to detail. Chef Jam, once again, out does herself. What I love most about Rembar is the sense of warmth and community that permeates the atmosphere. For my main, pork tenderloin au piorve with augratin potatoes and roasted cauliflower. The meat itself was non-descript. It was okay, a bit bland & needed to b seasoned a bit more all round, the sauce was a bit thin and I didn't see any hint of peppercorn. Highlights: -Whipped feta app was 10/10, homemade pita was incredible. Such a cool creative dish and perfectly executed. -Greek salad was amazing, tomatoes were some of the best I have ever had, meant to ask where they came from but forgot -Chicken souvlaki and lamb chops very good -Service was amazing- our server had a bunch of tables but handled it like a pro - she was super friendly and attentive. Owner was working the host stand and keeping an eye on everything which is never a bad thing! -Prices felt about right for the overall high quality of the food, portions, and experience A few things they could dial in, understandably they just opened. Server kept asking for completely honest feedback which we loved - seems like they are really committed to excellence: -Patio is still not open, will open up the space alot when it does- pretty lound in there right now with all the people clustered in (but fun atmosphere). It has always been a GREAT patio, can't wait for this. -Ongoing issue with this space has always been warm/room temp wine. Josco and NIMO had the same issue - smart wine list with 2 interesting Greek reds but I can't understand how any resturant can charge $16-$20 for a glass of warm wine with a straight face. This should be F&B 101! -Lamb chops very good but small portion for the price, 3 thin chops -Baklava cheesecake dessert was REALLY good but uncessecarily huge portion and presentation could be cleaned up a bit - has the potential to be an all-time dessert with a little refinement

We are regulars here and one of the reasons we keep coming back is simply how we are treated. Luis and his wife Jenn, the owners, are incredibly gracious hosts and have always made us feel more like family than customers. They also really know their wine, and that has become one of our favorite parts of going to The Grove. From our very first visits, they somehow remembered what we liked. We've gotten to the point where we don't even ask for a wine list anymore. We just tell them to choose for us, and they hit a home run every single time. This particular night was extra special because our friends drove almost an hour to join us for the birthday celebration and had never been to The Grove before. Of course, when you rave about a restaurant and convince friends to drive that far, you're secretly hoping it lives up to everything you've told them. It absolutely did. We started by sharing several appetizers, including the calamari and mozzarella bread, and then everyone went in different directions for dinner. We had veal Marsala, veal Parmesan, a shrimp Caesar salad and mushroom risotto for our vegetarian friend. Every single person at the table loved their meal. Then came dessert, which may have been my favorite part of the entire night. Along with a variety of desserts, we had these wonderful little Italian pastries, and Luis and Jenn suggested a particular dessert wine and told us to dip the pastries into it. I would NEVER have thought to do that. It sounded a little unusual, but we trusted them -- and it ended up being the surprise star of the night. Absolutely delicious. We finished with espresso, more wine and great conversation with Luis, Jenn and their wonderful team. Nobody was rushing us out the door. We were simply able to sit, laugh and enjoy the end of a really special birthday evening. Best of all, our friends were incredibly impressed and completely understood why we love this place so much. Five stars all day, every day from us. The Grove has never disappointed us, and there is something pretty special about having a restaurant where you walk through the door and genuinely feel like they're happy to see you.
