Met a friend and his wife here for lunch. We were greeted by Lea the hostess and asked to sit outside so we could enjoy the view of the light house and marina. Ann Marie was our server and very friendly. We ordered the lobster artichoke dip with tortillas as an appetizer to share which came out right away...so good! For food: *Cobb salad with grilled chicken & chipotle lime vinaigrette - huge, fresh and delicious *Triple Tail blackened fish with wild rice, mango salsa & broccoli rabe - also excellent *Mahi sandwich grilled w/fries - delicious All servings are pretty big / we all had doggie bags when we left. *The inside is spacious with a bar in the middle. High ceilings. *Parking - valet or self park near by and walk over. ~ and that's all I have to say about that...
The restaurant is very pretty and the service was great. I had the mussels and added pasta and it was amazing. The smoked wings had a very good smoky flavor with a soft and juicy interior. The fried oysters I wasn't really a fan of, the sauce was great but the oysters were small and over fried in my opinion. We also had the burger which was a great portion and very juicy.
Happy Hour was great but I'm not sold on coming here for full price. Especially the drinks. I started with an Espresso Martini, which I didn't want to send back so I just mentioned how watered down it was when I finished it and the server gave to us for free, so that was cool. The food was good but portions were pretty small (except for the new sticky fingers shrimp, I feel like that was an adequate portion for $15 - and I didn't snap a pic). But overall, I would totally come back for happy hour, I would just stick to food and maybe and old fashioned or Aperol spritz. Definitely a great time though and the staff was 100%, so friendly and great with my kids!
Excellent service, great views and outstanding food. I call that a winner! That's what you get at the Lucky Shuck. My first time. My server recommended the Pecan Macadamia nut crusted Barrel fish. I said sure , the fish was grilled and served over Carolina stone-ground grits with lobster cognac sauce. The best fish dish I could honestly say get an order in and spoil yourself. That good! A Rich and creamy dish. A great choice. Fresh fish. My grandson got the Lobster Mac & Cheese and loved it. Said it was excellent. Creamy and loaded with Lobster. MP. My Granddaughter got the SOUTHERN CHOPPED COBB shaved romaine lettuce, bacon, egg, tomatoes, pepper jack cheese, charred peppers, avocado, roasted corn, fried tortillas, chipotle lime vinaigrette. She said it was excellent. A huge salad & Pretty dish. I Should have taken a picture . She cleaned the plate. She loves salads and said this one was a great one. The Steamed Clams were award winning. Prepared with andouille sausage, garlic confit, heirloom tomatoes, scallions, white wine, creole butter. I asked my grandson if it was salty and he said no, it tasted great. I had a dozen Raw Cape Cod oysters served fresh, and easy to eat. Top rated oysters. Excellent! The oysters slipped out of the shells like water dripping out of a glass. They trimmed the oysters well away from the shell. Easy eating! Great prep work. Nice job! Come on down and check them out. I'll be back for sure.
My favorite spot from our staycation in Jupiter was definitely Lucky Shuck. I honestly can't decide what was better, our bartender Val or the food. Everything hit the mark from the drinks to every course we ordered. We started with the smoked chicken wings, and they were so good I already know I need to order them again next time. Then we split the ribs with homemade kettle chips, which were absolutely delicious. We finished with a light tiramisu cheesecake that was the perfect ending to the meal. Between the amazing food, great drinks, and Val's awesome service, this is definitely a must visit whenever you're in Jupiter.
We got seated fairly quickly since it was only a party if 2 which was nice The food here is always good- although the prices could be cheaper for what the food is- I feel like they try to present it as something fancy when it simply is seafood- I think the prices only reflect on the ambiance inside, there is better places to go if you want this kind of food and don't want to spend a arm and a leg- that's just my honest opinion but if you want the vibe and that's your thing go for it! The gumbo was great! And I think the shrimp were cooked perfectly And mahi was so-so it needed more flavor somewhere- the salsa was good but they only give you the tiniest amount- I think the plate looked sad and I didn't like how all of my food was just stacked on top of each other the plate looked empty THE RICE- was undercooked and had hard pieces in it- I got rice in the gumbo and on my plate that was really disappointing they were both like that - if you charge prices like that the food should be up to par.. the asparagus was cooked well and had a great flavor! The staff is always nice and on top of it! Hostess crew is always on top of it too!! It would be nice if they had lunch and dinner specials
This was our first time coming to Jupiter and dining here. We live 1hr 45 away. It's conveniently located next to the beach which is why we decided to come. Its a casual spot with a hefty price which we didn't expect. Food was great but service could have been a little better. We did have to wait a while in between drinks and our final check. We ordered 2 shrimp po boy as our main and 1 lobster dynamite as a starter and 1 lemonade. We left with an $80 tab so definitely not just any casual lunch spot! Overall, the food is good and we could consider coming back
Everything was delicious. I had the blackened mahi mahi sandwich with a side salad. It was so fresh and so delicious. My husband had the burger with fries and loved his burger also. We are definitely returning.
Fancier dinner place great view of the inlet. No Dogs allowed. Went in for dinner, service was slow but food was really good. I had the poke bowl it had a lot of flavor- didn't care for the pineapple on it. My husband had the oysters- he said they were good but small.
Visited this area and was recommended to try this restaurant. So glad we did. The view is great, the weather was warm so we sat outside. The service was excellent. We ordered some apps, Grilled Oysters, Mexican street corn fritters, Ahi Tuna poke Tacos, Lobster Dy no mite. All delicious! Then we all chose the Catch of the day. Two Mahi Mahi, one snapper and one swordfish. The sauce had a little kick but delicious and tasty. Key lime pie and Tiramisu cheesecake was shared and delicious. Totally recommend this restaurant when you are in the area
This place is a must every single time I travel down to South Florida! From the welcoming staff to the delicious food and amazing views! This place is a perfect place! I try and eat something new each time! This visit I did the Mahi sandwich and hands down was the best I've ever had! We did the firecracker shrimp and they were so flavorful and spicy! And we also did the blackened wahoo over rice pilaf with their amazing tropical salsa! I always love coming back here!
One of the best meal I have had in years! I ordered the Mahi sandwich blackened and it was absolutely delicious. Their fries are insane! My husband had the poke bowl and said it was great The table ordered the oysters Dirty rice Poke tacos Benets It was freezing in there! I know it's unusually cold there right now but when I asked why it was so cold I was told "we do not have heat" It was a beautiful restaurant. Service was okay but the food was insane! Came here with my bf while we were visiting the area. The restaurant is really big and there were a lot of empty tables but we still had about an hour wait on a Saturday afternoon. When our table was ready our server was Angelica and she was great. She was attentive and helped us with recommendations on late night spots in the area to try. To drink I had the lychee lagoon (like a lychee martini) and it was delicious. To eat we ordered the deviled eggs, the half loaded Caesar salad, and then the tuna tacos and the salmon tacos. The food was good but not really great. Nothing stood out to us. Everything came out quickly though so that was nice.
My friend and i went there for Flavor South Florida. We came from west palm which is a drive but honestly so worth it. Ambiance: We did a reservation and were seated pretty quickly so we loved it. It was packed and busy. Music was great. Our waiter was very nice and I'm so sad i didn't get her name. Food: In the Flavor South Florida menu, we did the conch fritter and the fish dip. I'm not a big conch fritter person but this one was very tasty and crispy. The fish dip surprised us if you try it with just the crackers it won't be as good as adding all condiments it comes with like the pickled onions, the pickles and the peppers. It was delicious!!!! My snapper was good! It lacked flavor a little but once i added some salt and pepper to it. It was way better. The salad on top added some acidity to it and it came together really nicely. Drinks: I got the lychee lagoon. And it was soooo goooood! Def getting that again. Price: My total was $71 and price was great! !Updated review! Service, food, and ambiance are excellent! They have tables, bar seating and seafood bar seating indoors, as well as outside with the views of Jupiter inlet! Catherine, our server, was so welcoming, as well as the other staff who stopped by our table while we dined. Came here for lunch with my aunts, and we started with prosecco and a dozen Bluepoint oysters, plus half a dozen from Prince Edward Island (forgot the exact name, but we went with what Catherine recommended). The PEI oysters were on the small side but delicious, and the Blue Points never disappoint! We then ordered the paella to share, which was packed with seafood -- more like a risotto in texture, but still so tasty! We also ordered the steak frites and the ceviche tostadas to share. The ceviche tostadas (three to an order) were loaded with fish, and the tostada itself was nice and crisp! The steak was fantastic -- so tender and flavorful (we ordered it medium and it was cooked perfectly), topped with a delicious chimichurri. The frites were perfectly crispy and salty on the outside, soft on the inside! Besides the oysters, the steak frites was our favorite! We finished with coffee and dessert, ordering the tiramisu (more like a tiramisu cheesecake) and the pavlova -- both fantastic and were thoroughly enjoyed. The pavlova was so tasty, with perfectly sweet berries and a meringue shell, and the presentation was lovely too! We love Lucky Shuck and will continue to come back. Visiting Jupiter, FL, we decided to stop by Lucky Shuck for some oysters! They offer a variety of oysters from different states based on size and flavor profile, and we chose the Massachusetts oysters. They were incredibly fresh, a great size, and delicious. We ordered those to start as well as the Nawlins-Style "BBQ" Shrimp served with grilled bread, along with the mussels special in a white wine sauce. Both appetizers were packed with flavor and generously garnished. For entrees, we ordered the Broadway Burger with bacon, the Shrimp Po' Boy, and the fresh catch of the day (a blackened tripletail) and every dish was excellent. The fish was perfectly cooked, the po' boy was loaded with shrimp, and the burger was juicy and flavorful. On top of the great food, our waiter provided excellent service, patiently answering our questions and offering recommendations to help us decide. Overall, we loved our dining experience and would recommend Lucky Shuck to anyone visiting Jupiter! read more
I don't hand out 5 stars regularly but lucky shuck knocked it out of the park. Service was 10/10. The food came out faster than we could order it. The scenery here is flat out incredible. Talk about a gem of a spot in Jupiter Florida. If I lived in Florida, this would be an every weekend type of spot. Bring this bad boy to Southern California! The food was incredible every last dish. WOULD GO BACK JUST FOR THE TIRAMISU CHEESECAKE!! Went with my husband for a wedding anniversary. It's pretty causal so we were a lil overdressed lol. We sat inside, would have liked to be outside but the wait for outside was long, as they are right on the water but we still had a pretty view of the water and lighthouse from inside. We got the ahi tuna tacos as an appetizer, yummy! My husband got the steak frites (said it was very salty) but the fries were very crispy. I got the lyonnaise potato crusted mahi with the corn and bean succotash. Both meals were yummy but we both agreed if we came back we probably wouldn't get either entree again. The menu is big so we would want to try other things, like the poke bowl or salmon bowl. The real reason we went was for the dessert! We saw a picture of the tiramisu cheesecake online and it looked amazing. It tasted just as I imagined. Could have eaten two or three of them. I would go back just for the tiramisu cheesecake!! read more
Our plans were to go to Square Grouper for a quick dinner but they didn't allow people under 21 and our 15 year old son was with us. I saw Lucky Shuck right next to it and I've heard great things about this spot. They were nice and seated us right away. We chose outside. The vibe was very nice and we were close to the water. We ordered drinks apps and entrees: spicy margaritas , oysters, loaded cornbread, catch of the day meal, burger and ahi tacos. Everyone agreed that everything was delicious. I took a few pics but was didn't get pics of everything. We were all starving. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. One thing is that they are pricey, but who isn't these days? At least the quality of the food was worth the price. read more

Celebrated my birthday at Lucky Shuck. Location and outdoor space was great. Started with lucky shuck salad, which was great. Got the onion crusted catch of the day, with the shrimp fried dirty rice, which was real nice. Service was great, with a slice of chocolate cake for the birthday dessert. Would go back. read more

Met a long time friend in Jupiter for lunch. We decided on Lucky Shuck for its location and views. We sat outside, on a very hot day. The fans were wonderful, and the breeze was apparent on the water side. A storm rolled in and the screens rolled down so we were able to continue enjoying the fish tacos (amazing) and the blueberry cake either ice cream (OMG!)...without getting wet...waitstaff fabulous! It was a perfect place to meet up! read more

I keep coming back for the Vegan Tempura Beech Mushroom Bowl! Crunchy mushrooms coated in an addictive sauce with fresh veggies, spicy peppers, and a peanut furikake nori granola over sticky white rice makes for a texture and flavor explosion I dream about! The gorgeous view of the Jupiter lighthouse and clear blue water don't hurt either. read more

Lovely location with Lighthouse Views! Stopped in for happy hour so I can only comment on oysters and wine which were great! I like smaller oysters and the Blue Point variety were delicious! The house pinot complimented the oysters perfectly. Nice lively bar with friendly, attentive bartenders made dining at the bar a great experience. read more

Went to lucky Shucks last night absolutely fantastic we started with drinks white sand beach , lychee lagoons do good we ended up with two more then the starters . Deviled Eggs , smoked Salmon carpaccio and brisket loaded cornbread. Fantastic I definitely recommend any or all three starters plenty for four people . Then we went to our main dish I had the nut crusted triple tail with an asparagus side . Bobby had the mahi fish sandwich, and the girls had the grilled oysters on the half shell . All absolutely fantastic meals . Sitting right on the water overlooking the intercostal and light house great views . And the service was outstanding. My water glass never was empty as the waiter assistants were filling them constantly and taking the empty plates away as soon as we finished. They were very kind and always asked before they took something away . Chancellor was or main waiter and he was fantastic. He also had help from another waitress which helped out if he got busy . We didn't have desert although the menu selection looked fantastic as we had a big birthday cake waiting at home . Otherwise we would have gone crazy on the deserts !!! Next time in the very shot future . Great place we highly recommend it ! read more

Had a nice lunch today. The view from the restaurant is incredible, open waterway and Jupiter lighthouse. Had the triple fin fish which was grilled over rice. Also tried the fish dip. Both delicious. The service was fair, could have been better but overall got the job done. read more

Left previous review was correcting the stars on the rating system But while I'm here food was great seriously everything nice menu Excellent service and a sense of humor. Appetizers went from great oysters to gumbo w/ andouille sausages and shrimp tuna tacos Dinner just got better oh don't forget the corn Shrimp Dumplings real winner. There's plenty of parking in the lot as well as valet parking. We had 6pm dinner reservations. We were offered the option of inside or under the covered patio outside. We chose outside with a great view of the Jupiter Lighthouse. They were featuring happy hour all day. Although we chose not to drink, we did order some appetizers from that menu. The pretzels and cheese, brisket cornbread, and deviled eggs were great. We also had the Cubano sandwich and half rack of ribs. We ordered a side of Smoked Southern Street Corn which was delicious and on the cob. Lauren B was friendly and attentive. She kept our water glasses full with a smile. We look forward to going to Lucky Shucks again. read more
