Our waitress was great! We enjoyed the food. The Spicy Kat roll was definitely spicy but we loved it! The pompano special was good but saying it's served with a side of asparagus might be an overstatement when you only get 4 twigs. Maybe list as a garnish.
05/20/25 We came here after our son's high school graduation since he requested seafood. We started with the hogfish roll and spicy tuna roll. I don't really do sushi, but the hogfish roll was delicious. The spicy tuna roll tasted like cold mush with an unpleasant taste and consistency. My husband and son sort of liked it, but I'm not sure they would order it again. The snapper sandwich was good, but the fries on the side of mine were quite disappointing. I realize the star of the show is the sandwich and not the fries, but most of the fries were very small remnants of fries and seemed like what was left at the bottom of the bag. While the sandwich was tasty, I would have expected slightly better pieces of fries for the price. My husband enjoyed his swordfish sandwich and sweet potato fries and our younger son enjoyed his fish and chips. We finished lunch off with a zert roll which was both interesting and delicious. I would definitely get it again. All in all, we look forward to visiting again, but will stay away from French fries and the spicy tuna roll.

We ordered a pan fried hogfish, a much smaller piece. The service is good. The restaurant gets full really quickly during the dinner time. One thing I really don't like the restaurant is the oily smell lingering on the cloth for a long time.
Where do I even begin with Hog Snappers? As a Fort Lauderdale local, I willingly drive nearly an hour just to dine here--and if that doesn't say something, I don't know what does. The service is always exceptional, the seafood is consistently fresh, and the quality never misses. Yes, there may be a wait during peak hours, but trust me it's worth every minute. My regular order starts with the lobster bisque (rich, creamy, and comforting), followed by the spicy tuna poke bowl--my personal favorite. I always customize it with strawberries and mango for a sweet, tropical twist that pairs perfectly with the heat. I've also had the crab-stuffed snapper, which came atop velvety mashed potatoes and was packed with flavor. The portion was incredibly generous easily enough for two and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The lobster & tuna tartare is another standout. It's light, fresh, and ideal as a shared starter or a satisfying solo dish if you're in the mood for something on the lighter side. My dad, who lives nearby, is loyal to the VOT roll and often joins me for lunch at the bar, where Shelby always takes great care of us. She knows his order by heart and adds a personal touch that keeps us coming back. Now let's talk dessert. You must try the sushi dessert roll. strawberry ice cream wrapped in dark chocolate, drizzled with caramel, and topped with whipped cream. It's decadent, unforgettable, and--as my dad puts it--"better than sex." The atmosphere is relaxed and coastal casual, and the prices are fair given the quality and portion sizes. Hog Snappers is hands-down worth the drive, whether you're a local or just passing through. Don't sleep on this gem.
This was a really cute place on the inside. It looks so cute and coastal. I could not get over the interior decor. The service was really fast and friendly. We sat down. We had some drinks and then we ordered entrées and appetizers. Everything that we ate was so delicious. We got the calamari to start, and that was the best calamari. I think I've had. It was so well cooked because it was perfectly tender on the inside and crispy on the outside and the sauce that came with it was delicious. Then I got the salmon poke bowl, and that was also delicious. The salmon was so soft and fresh and all the other ingredients were also really flavorful and yummy.
It was our first time there. Our friends recommended we go there to try the crab cake. The crab cake was delicious, as was everything else I photographed: sushi roll, oysters, nigiri & sweet roll. The service was great. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very special, the kind of atmosphere you only find in Jupiter. I highly recommend it!

Went for dinner we enjoyed. We started with tuna salsa, the blend of flavors really worked (nice large dice tuna with strawberries, avocado, and more tastebuds danced. Sadly the house made wontons were so stale, replacements were just as stale/sad. Dinner I had the hog snapper dinner, perfectly cooked fish, the sautéed veggies were beautifully cooked, coconut rice. Husb had sushi and a crispy tuna roll which was so delicious. Lizzy our server did an incredible job, she was sweet, efficient and fantastic. We had the coconut cream pie too. The place is beachy cute, nice and cold inside.
Honestly, one of the best seafood meals we had on the Treasure Coast. The Columbian Seafood Gumbo was delicious and the server allowed us to split it, and we got a small bowl. The Shack-Shack platter was a fried to perfection feast of shrimp, clams, fish, squid and scallops. Fries and slaw came as a side. Portions were generous and we took some home. The fried fish sandwich was equally fresh and yummy.
Been about two years since my last review just came again and absolutely delicious this time I got the chicken lettuce wraps! Talk about complete combustion of flavors, melting down your throat lol no seriously absolutely delicious! There was enough to eat as well as take home! One of the best lunches I've had in a while! Service was superior as Shelby was extremely friendly, helpful, and cute! The ambiance is perfect as I don't like to be in bright lights personally. Thank yall once again. Highly Recommending and will be back !

My girlfriend and I stopped in and snagged two great seats at the bar. The vibe there is awesome, small but mighty, and such a fun spot to sit and eat. They have a great happy hour with discounted sushi rolls and drinks, and the happy hour appetizers looked incredible too. We were in the mood for a full dinner though, so we skipped the apps this time. My girlfriend got the hogfish sushi roll with cream cheese, jalapeño, and beet tempura flakes, and it looked amazing. I went with the hogfish fresh catch, which comes with a choice of sautéed or stir fry veggies and coconut or saffron rice. I chose the coconut rice with stir fry veggies, broccoli and green beans that day, and it was so good. Hogfish is honestly my favorite meal here and I've had it several times. It's always incredibly fresh. I like mine pan seared with butter, no oil, and it never disappoints. Great food, great vibe, and a bar seat is the way to go. Can't wait to come back. read more

Amazing seafood. The crab cakes and ceviche are delightful and fresh, the sushi is also incredibly fresh and tasty. If you have any non seafood lovers with you- they also have a really good burger/fries and a good selection of other non seafood options. Great per usual. Crab cake was delicious and plenty of food (even tho it's an appetizer). If you haven't ordered the drums.... Get them. Massive, flavorful, crispy, and perfectly cooked. Service is also good. Get there early on weekends, it gets crowded quick. Good vibes. read more

Great location, open parking with outside and inside seating. Nice relaxing casual atmosphere. Awesome service from C J - promptly seated, drink orders provided, specials and suggestions were given. Snappy hour till 5:45 had sushi roll and house special called you gotta try this - all very good. Dinner - seafood gumbo soup/meal hot and fresh as each soup hand prepared. Will be back. read more

Very happy to try Hog Snappers last night for the first time. This is a very lively neighborhood restaurant with a fun interior, focusing on seafood, including sushi, sashimi, and other dishes. I tried a tuna poke bowl and must say that it was possibly the best version of this I've had. My dining partner tried the fish and chips and was very impressed. Service was very friendly and quick. Hog snappers is such a Jupiter hidden gem. It's genuinely mostly know to locals and has a very beachy vibe but is by far one of my favorite restaurants. The Crab dip au gratin appetizer dip is absolutely to die for. All their sushi rolls and drinks are also so delicious, such as the s'mores Expresso martini. They are known for their spicy infused tequila, and when I was sitting at the bar once and asked what it was, the bartender was super kind and gave me a complimentary sample! My favorite roll that I got recently was the wild Shelby. It has strawberries on top which sounds weird but was so so delicious! Highly recommend!! read more

So glad I tried Hog Snappers. I joined the waitlist and when I arrived 20 minutes later was seated right away. Place was very busy but has a great vibe. Excellent menu hard to decide what to get. Hailey was a great waitress. Loved her recommendations. Had the tuna salsa, the ceviche and a sushi roll. Never had sushi with strawberries but it was delicious. Enjoyed everything will definitely be back. read more

With soooo many great options in Jupiter Its hard to say which place is number one but Hog Snappers is in my personal top three. The energy in this place is positive/vibrant with a lot of moving parts. Great service at the tables but the bar is probably a touch better with so much interaction. Second visit we went with all sushi and it was some of the best we've had anywhere. They have a bacon cheeseburger on the menu- suggestion to anyone ordering this... you really need to stop taking up space a Hog Snappers! read more
