We returned here with out of town family who we brought in the Spring. My kids ran around the park area, and we even let them walk around the closest docks by themselves. The adults chatted and dines overlooking the river while my kids have freedom to run around. Plentiful parking, not crowded in any way, and the fast casual nature of Pura Vida let us have our own mini feast on the outside area. The kids menu is not readily available- we had to ask for what the options were- but I think this is something they should be advertising, with one of the healthiest kids menus around. Most of us chose the same items we had last time, minus the lettuce ha, and once again we bought most of the pastries they had on hand. The pistachio match cookie is so good! Great little place we found looking for a healthy lunch alternative in Jupiter! So I had never been to a Pura Vida before, and didn't want a heavy lunch as the days are so hot lately: this small self-serve cafe just hit the right spot! Located just across the The Woods restaurant and the Wyndham Hotel in a small but lively mall with waterside access (you can drive or boat there!) they also had indoor seating which suited us just fine. The food was prepared as soon as we placed our order at the cash register, and brought to our table. Our lunch bowls looked as good as they tasted! We both had the chicken bowl and I have to say that the rice was absolutely delicious! I also liked that the chicken was not cold, but warm, as well as the sweet peppers: this added a delicious touch to my lunch. Then we had some dessert balls... they were so good that we went back for more and even took some home to share! Hands down one of my favorite healthy food spots in Palm beach county! This particular is beautifully set against the water near the amphitheater in Harbourside so you can easily walk around before and after. There's some street parking options by the restaurant or also a paid parking garage right nearby. We went early in the morning for their breakfast offering so we got a spot on the street. I ordered for pick up on the app since I know they tend to be busier on the weekends and boy was I glad I did that since when I walked in there was barely space inside since it was packed. I think this shows how high in demand this place is! Luckily the worker noticed me and immediately asked if I was picking and quickly handed my food and offered if I needed anything else. My latte was absolutely divine and had the right color and mix of milk with matcha. I did a deconstructed perfect egg sandwich which was so delicious and hit the spot! I love the healthy alternatives they have with egg whites and putting certain sauces on the side which is how I modified my meal. I will admit it's on the pricier side but well worth it! read more

This is the last time I order from here. I always ask for extra dressing because they are stingy with it. I pay for it which I do not think you should have to pay for extra dressing for a huge salad. It's a very nice place and atmosphere. The walk up counter service was fine. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich that laughably came with maybe 6 chips on the side. The sandwich itself was close to $20. I would rate the sandwich as roughly the same size and quality as a pre-fab sandwich you can pick up at an airport kiosk for like $6. I guess the air conditioning was having an issue because it was hotter inside than outside on a 90 degree day. My wife had the Avocado Toast with over easy eggs and she loved it. Looked like art and the taste was great. My egg wrap was a different story. It was not well thought out texturally as the sweet potato and avocado were all warm but large chunks of mush and the broken up medium hard eggs just kinda added to the large warm chunk madness. Flavors could not work in balance but singular items overwhelmed the portion. Ordered whole wheat wrap and received spinach wrap. Beautifully designed interior. Really pretty place to hang out and get some healthy food. Loved the atmosphere and after ordering my lunch to go kind of wished I'd sat down to eat and enjoy the place. Anyhow I got the egg sandwhich and a cold brew and went to the beach. The sandwich was fresh, well made and tasted good, but was pretty basic. The sauce it comes with was good too but not crave-worthy. I don't see myself needing to eat it here again. Thing is, while there's nothing wrong with the food, the way they charge the customers is really weird and for me, it messes up what would otherwise be a nice experience. Theres a 5% service fee just for ordering plus an extra 10% if you dine in. So a 15% tip is mandatory, despite the fact that you stand in line and order at a counter. Then this fee was also applied to my already $7 cold brew, even tho it comes in a bottle and I had to pick up out of a case and pour for myself. Then they also charged me an extra $1.25 for a splash of milk in it. Not even a special milk, just plain old cows milk. So nearly $9 total for a good, but not at all special, cup of iced coffee. Obviously a few extra dollars here and there isn't going to financially ruin anyone, but having all these sneaky extra charges doesn't make me feel good about going there. Instead of feeling welcomed and valued as a customer it makes me feel like they're out to get me. If you want 5% more for the food, just price it that way on the menu. If not wanting to drink black coffee means a big upgrade, tell me. There are plenty of other small businesses in the area offering food that's just as good, without the tricks and personally, I'd prefer to support them. read more
