Wow, what a gem we found.. This restaurant is located in a gated neighborhood so if you'd like to go you need to make a reservation so your name can be given to the front gate for entry. It is part of a yacht club setting. There were four in our party and when we arrived around 5:00pm there weren't too many guests but the scenery overlooking the water was what I was hoping for after doing my research on Yelp. The sign said seat yourself so we spoke to one of the staff and were told take any table without menus on it. If there are menus on the table it's reserved. We saw a table with 4 menus and said that must be ours as we made a reservation and we all laughed.. We were given two menus each (early bird & regular each had nice choices. For the table we order the Fried Zucchini as an appetizer and it was perfect. For dinner one in our party ordered the Chicken Piccata off the early bird, another the Mahi Mahi off the regular menu. My wife and I each had the Penni Ali vodka from the regular menu.. when our dinners arrived the portions were of good size and hot. Each of us were extremely happy with our choices. Despite our different suggestions (due to our last bad experience), we ended up meeting our friends at this restaurant again: it was "prime rib night" and they assured us that this time we wouldn't be disappointed. I wasn't sure I wanted to have prime rib, so I looked at their online menu while driving up there and decided to order a pasta with clams instead. This entrée, however, wasn't offered on their menu at the restaurant: it appears that they don't update their online menu (including the prices). So my friend and I shared a "queen cut" rare prime rib. It came with a very small portion of mashed potatoes and green beans, which were just ok. The meat was good instead, but at $40 it seems a little bit overpriced to me. My husband tried the short ribs again, and found them better than last time! I'm therefore adding a star to my updated review; however, next time we will still insist with our friends to meet at another place: the ratio food quality / service / price is still off. read more

Delicious food at the To Go truck! We love this location and food. They were quick, friendly and the food was delicious. You place your order at the window and they give you a number to place on your table. There is a woman delivering food to the tables, when your order is ready. We went on a Friday evening, and they had live music and outdoor games (cornhole). This is a great place to bring out of town friends and kids, since it's right on the water. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was the perfect amount of spice. The fries were served perfectly crispy and seasoned. The Philly was very flavorful! I'm looking forward to our next visit. read more

Good food, less than stellar service. It could have been that our waitress was underage or hadn't been trained properly but she didn't know cocktail protocols or certain information about drinks (like a martini or cosmo). The food came out quickly and overall was good. Here's the run down - Wings (we got BBQ) - not crispy, super fatty (more than normal, BBQ sauce had a great flavor Calamari - perfect crispness but definitely not enough sauce to dip for the amount they give you Burger - well cooked and good flavor Fish N Chips - two solid pieces of thick fish which was great (more fish than batter yay!) however both the fish and batter had no flavor North Palm Beach Salad - avocado, sunflower seeds, corn, crab and shrimp were a great combination, but overall the dressing and the dish had zero flavor. Really a bummer because this could have been great. Only true benefit is you have a nice view of the boats and the marina. read more

I live nearby and am part of a group of friends who eat at Belle's Bar & Grill once every week. Belle's at Safe Harbor Marina, North Palm Beach, has always had a great location on Lake Worth Lagoon. Now, because it is under new management as of November 2024, it also has delicious food with a friendly atmosphere and great service. All the servers are quick, knowledgeable and friendly, especially Erin. Scott and Susie also do a great job behind the bar serving tasty drinks. The new Manager, Brian, new Director of Food & Beverage Keith Lyons and their new fabulous, creative, experienced chef, Chef Moe have made such a difference! Everything Chef Mohammed makes is delicious! Belle's also now has a new terrific "Early Bird Menu" (order before 6:00) that is the best in town with a salad, great meal options and dessert for $20! The weekly Thursday Prime Rib night is very popular. When eating there, I suggest starting with one of their many tasty flatbreads. Everything on the menu is great! Some of my favorites are: Wagu Beef Sliders, Cheeseburger, Fried Shrimp Platter, Chicken Cobb Salad, Caprese Salad, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Maple Glazed Salmon and last but not least, Oven Baked Cookie! Private Club type restaurant. There is a guard station to allow you in the property. Outstanding views of Old Port Cove. Food options are basic and pricey. Palm Beach salad is recommended. After a rocky start since the infamous and fabled Covid days, Belles has ironed out just about all kinks and has regained the stellar reputation that it enjoyed in its former life as the Sandpiper. The food which was a little rocky a year ago has improved substantially back to a five star level level. Belles seafood selections and presentations are outstanding. Hosts Scott, Susi and Tonya continue their warm, friendly, and most attentive service. All very comfortable and very much appreciated. Belles entertainment venues have also been well received, especially trivia night on Monday. I am starting to get hungry so I think I'm gonna head over there in a little bit for their weekend brunch served with savory vegetables in the form of tasty bloody Marys. read more

Belle's use to be Sandpiper a destination restaurant. Someone at Safe Harbor corporate made the decision to turn it into Belle's in Newport R.I.(Florida isn't New England or Rhode Island.) In so doing they turned what was once a beautiful destination restaurant into an ugly bar and grill with a floor that will always look dirty. Now they are trying to improve the decor and bring back the most popular events. (Trivia and Live Music.) The food is excellent and the staff is outstanding. Same staff as when it was Sandpiper. Alan the new manager is trying to bring it back and is open to suggestions. Terrific guy. Actually they are turning in into what it used to be but not near as beautiful. read more

How I miss the old Sandpipers Restaurant. Ever since Safe Harbor bought out the previous owners of the Old Port Cove Marina and restaurant, the only positive improvement has been the marina. They upgraded the restaurant by changing the decor,which is now more modern, some of the staff are still the same,Scott & Suzie are wonderful...now,let's talk about the food & menu. There use to be previously a staff of 8 in the kitchen,a chef,souse chef,preps,waitress and restaurant manager Now there is 2 in the kitchen, the souse chef is now the chef & restaurant manager and who also serves tables and 1 other kitchen person. The food has gone downhill where in the past it was awesome. The restaurant lacks guests,is it due-to the food and limited menu,I'm not sure. The past visits led my husband and I very disappointed and will probably only return for drinks. I wish Safe Harbor would of spent more time in finding the best fit to uphold their upstanding reputation in their restaurant. read more
