Happy hour specials

I had a great time at Voodoo Bayou for happy hour. The bar…read morearea is a nice size with both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a fun and comfortable atmosphere. The drinks were very well made, and I especially enjoyed the Snake Oil Salesman cocktail, it tasted like a delicious spicy margarita. The happy hour food specials were excellent. The baked garlic butter oysters and Rockefeller oysters were both very good and such a great deal. The deviled eggs and Gumbo Ya Ya were also full of flavor and definitely worth trying. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic happy hour spot with great drinks, tasty food, and a lively vibe. I'll definitely be back!

Hint of Smoke and juicy!!! Deviled eggs w Caviar and Black Truffle are not what they are cracked up to be. Just a basic deviled egg taste. Couldnt taste and truffle or caviar. Good but Not worth the price point. Grilled Cheese Oysters were delicious!!! Came out piping hot and when eaten, the are between raw and cooked. So tender and sweet w a parm cheese crust!!! Definitely would buy again! Gumbo- was waaaaay over peppered. The flavor was good w perfectly cooked shrimp but the black pepper was overwhelming the dish. Past experiences, the Gumbo has been one of the best, but not tonight. Now the main reason to visit Voodoo. The beignets- 5 per serving, comes out piping hot covered in powder sugar!!! So light and puffy and each bite melts in your mouth. If I didnt know, I would think there was some type of creme inside! These are NOT like the donut style most places serve. These are pillows of goodness that melts in your mouth. Tip: You must eat them hot!!! If you want very good Cajun food, try Voodoo Bayou!

Cigar Lounge We were…read moreout in PBG for dinner and my buddy and I decided we needed a nice cigar to finish out the evening - we did a quick google search and Angry Moon was right down the street so we popped over. Now I've been in and around the PBG area for a long time. I've gone to Angry Moon Café and never, not once, did I notice the cigar lounge located pretty much right behind the café. Go figure. This is an old-school place. Lots of dark: dark wood and dark leather and a dimly lit back bar with just about anything you can thing of up there- exactly what I expect at a cigar lounge. Since this was a snap decision for us, we had to hit the humidor to grab some sticks - humidor was very comprehensive with just about anything you culd wat, and all price points. We found some that worked for us and got them snipped and lit in short order. There are clippers and lighters available at the tiny bar - this is a service bar - not a sitting bar BTW. Young lady working there was very sociable and witty. We grabbed two after-dinner type drinks and found some cozy seats outside. The wonderful thing about this place is that there are a lot of options for seating. Inside / outside / semi-outside - you should be able to fins something that works for you. We chose the semi-outside option where we could look at the boats in the marina. The cigars and cocktails went down smoothly, and a good time was had by all. Prices are what you might expect for PBG / Jupiter. There is a piano and live piano music - just for reference the crowd is definitely on the older side- so not the best place to let it all hang out is my guess. Restrooms are spotless and the place is clean. This one is definitely going on the regular rotation of places to hit when in the area. Parking in front.

We drove by and saw the outside seating and said let's give this place a shot. It was one of the best decisions we made that day. The outside seating is at the entrance. Four tables for four on one side and 3 high tables that seat 4 on the other side. When we arrived there were two other people outside having a beer. We had to go in and announce ourselves which was fine. The inside is set up pub style. Once the staff was aware, we were attended to immediately. Our waiter Steve was friendly and gave good suggestions. He checked on us often and was a pleasure. Along with our cold brews we ordered the Works Philly Cheesesteak with both the sweet and hot peppers on the side and coleslaw (for me) and the Draft House Reuben (for my fiancé) with roasted red potatoes. The food was delivered within a reasonable amount of time, hot and delicious! My Philly was great! The bread was fresh and toasted, there was a perfect balance of meat to onions, and mushrooms. Once I tried bith the sweet and hot peppers, I decided to add the sweet peppers to my sandwich. They were a great add! The hot peppers were tasty but they were too hot for me. I'm glad I didnt add them. My fiancé's Reuben was PERFECT! Delicious bread, plentiful corned beef, and just the right amount of Thosand Island dressing. I'm getting that next time I visit this place because there will be a next time! The coleslaw was yummy. Not sweet and had all the coleslaw fixings. My fiancé's roasted potatoes were perfectly cooked. Great restaurant. I definitely recommend you give it a try!

Just simple key west pastel decor with a plentiful amount of nautical items including a very large taxidermy sailfish at the entrance. There is plenty of inside and outside seating and an outside bar as well as a covered outside dining area for group gatherings for special occasions. The reservation system is very simple for table booking. and we were promptly seated outside under a well shaded umbrella. The specials menu was very nice and we started with the conch fritters. Nice in size and full of conch pieces. We also ordered the grilled fish tacos which came with fries. The Fish Tacos were filled with a housemade sauce and coleslaw, and the Tuna Poke Bowl was the best thing from the menu. It had a very generous amount of fresh chopped sushi grade tuna mixed with cucumbers, avocado and tomatoes on top of seaweed salad. The spicy masago dressing was not spicy at all but very good. It came with tortilla chips which was a little weird and would have been perfect if it had sesame crackers or seaweed chips on the side. Overall I was so happy to have dined here to enjoy some delicious food with great service. I will definitely come back to try some of the other menu items next time.
