Matteo's is one of the best Italian restaurants I've visited. It was my first time dining there, and everything about the experience was exceptional. Upon arrival, I had the opportunity to witness a staff meeting taking place before the restaurant opened for dinner. It was refreshing to see the team preparing and setting intentions for the evening ahead. Matteo's offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and the atmosphere feels open, warm, and inviting. I chose to sit at the bar so I could catch part of the game, and I ordered a cocktail made with pink grapefruit, vodka, and a splash of lime. I can't recall the name, but it was absolutely amazing refreshing and perfectly balanced. For dinner, I ordered the Pizza Parma and added a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, which beautifully accentuated the flavors of the Gorgonzola, fig jam, and arugula. Every bite was delicious. If you're looking for an elegant, elevated dining experience, Matteo's is definitely the place to go.

Really happy to get a reservation since it was the holidays and a lot of people in town. Our reservation was at 8:00 pm and the four of us tried to get seats at the bar which was impossible. Bar is big and looks like a great place to have drinks and dinner which is what we like to do. Our hostess sat us at a table and our server whose name I can't remember came over and took our drink order. The menu is huge and there are so many good choices. Our server was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We ordered a delicious fig salad with crispy prosciutto and cheese over arugula. We also shared a really good tartuffi pizza with truffles and ricotta. For my entree our server told us we could get a smaller sizes of pasta which were still huge and I wound up taking it home. I got the fusilli calabrese which had lamb, sausage and meatballs. It was out of this world! My friend ordered the veal Milanese which the four of us could've shared. Next time we know not to order a lot as the portions on everything were very large. Highly recommend this place there is also an outdoor area with space heaters. Service was great and vibe is dressy casual. Can't wait to go back when season is over and it's less busy!

The drinks were very well made, and I especially enjoyed the Snake Oil Salesman cocktail, it tasted like a delicious spicy margarita. The happy hour food specials were excellent. The baked garlic butter oysters and Rockefeller oysters were both very good and such a great deal. The deviled eggs and Gumbo Ya Ya were also full of flavor and definitely worth trying. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic happy hour spot with great drinks, tasty food, and a lively vibe. I'll definitely be back!

We had the cup of gumbo which was spicy but well liked by our friends, I had the friend oysters fried perfectly and the pear and pecan salad, which was way too sweet and swimming in dressing...order your dressing on the side! The bartender that cashed us out at the bar was rather rude, as we closed out our tabs before heading to our table for dinner. Our friend wanted to order one more drink while happy hour was still available, but because he was rude she decided not to. Friends had the Gumbo, BBQ Shrimp and Shrimp and Grits which was well liked and arrived hot. My Blackened Shrimp PoBoy was terrible, cold roll and cold shrimp...worst sandwich I've ever had! Hubs had the fried chicken sandwich which was not hot either, something he would not order again. The side of broccoli rabe was cold. Side of Cesar salad had dressing that was way too salty and not palpable. Luckily I asked for the dressing on the side and could control the amount. Later that night my husband realized we were overcharged for our drink. They said they will make an adjustment back to our cc. We will be back but stick with the good dishes and check your bill.

Cigar Lounge We were…read moreout in PBG for dinner and my buddy and I decided we needed a nice cigar to finish out the evening - we did a quick google search and Angry Moon was right down the street so we popped over. Now I've been in and around the PBG area for a long time. I've gone to Angry Moon Café and never, not once, did I notice the cigar lounge located pretty much right behind the café. Go figure. This is an old-school place. Lots of dark: dark wood and dark leather and a dimly lit back bar with just about anything you can thing of up there- exactly what I expect at a cigar lounge. Since this was a snap decision for us, we had to hit the humidor to grab some sticks - humidor was very comprehensive with just about anything you culd wat, and all price points. We found some that worked for us and got them snipped and lit in short order. There are clippers and lighters available at the tiny bar - this is a service bar - not a sitting bar BTW. Young lady working there was very sociable and witty. We grabbed two after-dinner type drinks and found some cozy seats outside. The wonderful thing about this place is that there are a lot of options for seating. Inside / outside / semi-outside - you should be able to fins something that works for you. We chose the semi-outside option where we could look at the boats in the marina. The cigars and cocktails went down smoothly, and a good time was had by all. Prices are what you might expect for PBG / Jupiter. There is a piano and live piano music - just for reference the crowd is definitely on the older side- so not the best place to let it all hang out is my guess. Restrooms are spotless and the place is clean. This one is definitely going on the regular rotation of places to hit when in the area. Parking in front.

We drove by and saw the outside seating and said let's give this place a shot. It was one of the best decisions we made that day. The outside seating is at the entrance. Four tables for four on one side and 3 high tables that seat 4 on the other side. When we arrived there were two other people outside having a beer. We had to go in and announce ourselves which was fine. The inside is set up pub style. Once the staff was aware, we were attended to immediately. Our waiter Steve was friendly and gave good suggestions. He checked on us often and was a pleasure. Along with our cold brews we ordered the Works Philly Cheesesteak with both the sweet and hot peppers on the side and coleslaw (for me) and the Draft House Reuben (for my fiancé) with roasted red potatoes. The food was delivered within a reasonable amount of time, hot and delicious! My Philly was great! The bread was fresh and toasted, there was a perfect balance of meat to onions, and mushrooms. Once I tried bith the sweet and hot peppers, I decided to add the sweet peppers to my sandwich. They were a great add! The hot peppers were tasty but they were too hot for me. I'm glad I didnt add them. My fiancé's Reuben was PERFECT! Delicious bread, plentiful corned beef, and just the right amount of Thosand Island dressing. I'm getting that next time I visit this place because there will be a next time! The coleslaw was yummy. Not sweet and had all the coleslaw fixings. My fiancé's roasted potatoes were perfectly cooked. Great restaurant. I definitely recommend you give it a try!

Nice in size and full of conch pieces. We also ordered the grilled fish tacos which came with fries. The Fish Tacos were filled with a housemade sauce and coleslaw, and the Tuna Poke Bowl was the best thing from the menu. It had a very generous amount of fresh chopped sushi grade tuna mixed with cucumbers, avocado and tomatoes on top of seaweed salad. The spicy masago dressing was not spicy at all but very good. It came with tortilla chips which was a little weird and would have been perfect if it had sesame crackers or seaweed chips on the side. Overall I was so happy to have dined here to enjoy some delicious food with great service. I will definitely come back to try some of the other menu items next time.
