Outdoor has a cute game area and a tiki bar with tvs. This location is a bit connected to a residential area so residents have the ability to slide right in from their connecting space. FIRST OFF, they have happy hour everyday Ok, now service was also super fast. I was skeptical but they served for real because every dish was pretty good! Here's what we enjoyed: 1ST COURSE Fried Oysters: Crispy, golden oysters served on the half shell, topped with a very enjoyable seaweed salad, a drizzle of Sriracha, and a bit of sour cream. An absolute flavor explosion--so unique, I could've had a dozen! Twisted Calamari: Perfectly crispy calamari tossed with hot and sweet peppers in a white wine garlic butter sauce. The crispy coating and tender calamari paired with that flavor-popping sauce made this the best calamari I've ever had. 2ND COURSE Twisted Sushi Platter: A filling feast of veggie rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and their signature Tuna Rita on a bed of fresh seaweed salad. The food's not good by any self-respecting person standards. Everything appears to be reheated certainly not scratch kitchen. The location gives Chuck E. Cheese meets Guy Harvey. However there IS a beautiful view of a condo community in the distance. The two times that I dined there the service was noticeably poor. Was wanting nice seafood without a huge wait. Place across the street, not mentioning names (Bive Dar) had a 45 min wait, so we decided to try Twisted Tuna, again. I have been there several times in the past and was less than impressed. We entered and were greeted nicely, and taken to a table outside, which we asked for. Fans were on and keeping the patio nicely breezy. Patio was not too crowded, and a woman came in with a puppy, which she kept in her cross body sling thing, no worries. I didn't know until after we ate that there was a large golden type lab at the next table from us. You will see why this is important later on. I like dogs and am ok with restaurants allowing them outside although I didn't know this until midway through the meal. OK, enough harping on dogs. We had a hard time ordering as there are so so so many items on the menu. I wanted oysters or sushi but one of our dining companions cannot have raw fish so I decided to not eat that in front of him. Two of us settled on the Captains Platter, a mix of 3 fried shrimp, 2 fish, a bunch of clams, 3 conch fritters and fries. The fish was delightful, clams were crisp and tasty, shrimp was good too. The conch fritters had a little bite once you chewed on it, and nice seasoning. Fries were huge and interesting, hot, crisp outside, soft inside. This also came with a plethora of sauces: cocktail, tarter and tropical salsa. Husbands chicken shrimp dinner also came with honey mustard and a horseradish sauce as well. Overall, the amount and quality of food was in line with the price. Two people could easily share this meal. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the server (a very nice young lady) was attentive and did check on us shortly after serving. Overall, nice experience. Is it the best fried seafood I have ever had, ?, but it was good. Beverages were also served quickly. Now the issue, and don't get me wrong, I like dogs, however, while sitting eating, some stray hairs came wafting up, and I was wondering what this was. I put two and two together after I saw the dog walk by leaving. OK, no, I didn't eat any dog hair, but also didn't appreciate it either. What a great place, this was my first time and from the moment we got there it was a fun time. We went to watch the basketball game and meet my son. The decor is so cute, Sydney was our server and she was fantastic and we had her laughing with my husband's dad jokes all night long. I started with New England clam chowder, now I'm from Boston. The flavor was not the usual and that's why I loved it. The smokiness was really well played and delicious. My friend had the grilled mahi mahi sandwich that's was cooked perfection and at every bite with a burst of flavor. My husband had the stuff scallops omg amazing that I tried and we're freaking fantastic! I had the seafood con salad with crab meat, shrimp and mahi, now the Mahi was not very tasty in the salad but the salad was delicious! We were staying in the area and wanted a quick dinner on Wednesday night so we decided to stop in here. We had the lobster bisque, which was fabulous. We also ordered the wings not the regular ones but the specially seasoned ones and for the life of me I can't remember what they're called. They did not look very appetizing when they came out. They looked like they just came out of the crockpot, and they honestly had no flavor and a very odd consistency. Our waitress was very nice, took them back and asked if we wanted a different appetizer and we honestly didn't, the soup was enough. My friend had the fried grouper fingers and he really enjoyed it. My mahi was bland and blah had no flavor whatsoever. The waitress asked if I liked it and when I said not really, she took it back and asked if there was anything else she could bring me and I declined. I ordered the seafood quesadilla, which was stuffed so full of seafood that it was falling apart and difficult to hold, especially since the tortilla was limp and not crispy. The accompanying guacamole was starting to brown, the salsa was unimpressive, and the accompanying black beans and rice were bland. My wife was similarly unimpressed with her pizza which was very doughy. My coworker and I have been going to this location for lunch on a very regular basis for many months. The service and food has always been fantastic. The quality of the meals is always incredible and all the wait staff bartenders and Management are super friendly and engaging. Recently, we booked the private room on the second floor to have a celebration of life ceremony for a family member and everyone really went above and beyond to make our day incredible. I tried to eat my twisted sub. The odds were not in my favor the grouper was over fried and tasted like the fish was old and not cleaned. The potatoes fries were very thick seasoned well. I figured her grouper was cooked differently, I should have trusted her judgment because not only was the fish disgusting the salsa was mushy and unpleasant. Shout to Veronica on the tiki bar outside. We have been here 20-25 times for happy hour and it's great and consistent. The service has always been sub par but the food has been good. This was our first time meeting Veronica and she went above and beyond. She would come out to our table, made sure everything was taken care of, didn't miss any of our items. The mahi sandwich was said to be good by my friend . The service was ok, not great they were understaffed as we waited for our entries for quite a while. I do recommend making sure you are not pressed for time if you opt to eat here. The sushi and both soups were absolutely delicious and filling! I had ordered the twisted grouper sub and was underwhelmed with the decision. The fish was over cooked so I ended up just eating the slaw off the top. Excellent and very friendly service. My husband had the clam chowder which he said was good. (It was a little thin for my taste.) He also had the Chicken Caesar wrap which was very good, and some of the best fries he's ever had! I had the grouper taco's. They were good, but the mango salsa put them over the top delicious! Our daughter had the Mahi tacos which she said were good, but she liked the grouper taco's better and especially the mango salsa. We both had black beans and rice with our tacos, which were tasty, but cold (not even lukewarm) when they came out. There is a Pool outside that is not apart of the restaurant, nice outdoor seating and a fun little spot where the kids can play Jenga. We were starving so we decided to start of our meals with the edamame and fish dip. The edamame was as ok, but on the cold side. The fish dip is a towering site with enough for four or five people. The fish dip was lacking a lot of flavor. The kids had a mahi sandwich that was as hard as a rock , I had the Tuna Taki sandwich and the tuna was so hard to bite into . My husband said his was ok but his fish just had these giant potatoes on the plate that really didn't make sense. My husband I took my in-laws and two young kids (1 and 4 year old) for dinner on a Saturday night. The wait was only 15 minutes and we sat outside. The little waiting area is nice with some games to keep the kids occupied. Service: the host was very nice, but our waitress was quite negligent. The coating was so thick and overcooked that you couldn't taste the shrimp, clams, or fish on my platter. I couldn't separate the coating from clams.
