One of the outdoor large bar windows was already open and most of the seats were taken, so we asked if they could open one of the side windows too. They said yes immediately, no hesitation, no attitude. I've asked for that kind of thing at other places before and it takes forever to get a straight answer, let alone actually get it done. Here they just pressed a button and this big beautiful window opened up, blending the inside and outside space together. The setup is great, plenty of seating both inside and out, and the bartenders were clearly busy but still on top of everything. We didn't get a picture of the happy hour menu, unfortunately, but it runs every day until 6:30 and has some great app options! We were both in the mood for a meal though. My dining partner got the David Burke aged burger and I went with the steak frites, which I'd actually never ordered before. Steak frites is a classic French bistro dish, essentially just a well cooked steak served with a big side of crispy fries, simple in concept but all about execution. And the execution here was perfect. The steak was super tender, had just the right amount of brown sauce and chimichurri, cooked exactly how I wanted it, and the portion was ideal. I left satisfied, not stuffed, and definitely not still hungry. At $33 on the happy hour menu with more fries than I could finish, it was a steal. I'd actually been to Seahawk Prime the night before for a Yelp Elite event on the Birdie sports bar side, where I tried the maple glazed bacon, the ahi fish tacos, one of the flatbreads, and the chicken wings, all excellent. So going in for the steak frites this time felt like the right call to round things out, and I'm so glad I did. My martini was excellent too, with some of the best blue cheese olives I've had. Huge shoutout to Mike, the manager, who was warm, welcoming, and clearly proud of the place he runs. That kind of hospitality makes a real difference. Highly recommend, I'll absolutely be back!

They serve delicious Peruvian corn at the bar, and the selection of happy hour apps and drinks is outstanding. The atmosphere is great -- it's a lively, fun spot where you can easily meet and chat with other people. The corn was small bud edible. The onion rings, however, were not. They were SO hard that I couldn't bit into them and when I tried to use a fork and knife it ended up just making a mess. We ended up barely making a dent in both the cauliflower and onion rings and when they took our plates we were honest that both dishes were basically inedible. We also ordered the salmon, which unfortunately had that unmistakable metallic, pungent flavor that immediately signals the fish is not fresh and should not be consumed further. We brought the issue to the attention of the manager, who acknowledged it initially but never returned to follow up. To their credit, the salmon was removed from the bill and an alternative dish was offered. However, the overall experience still fell far short of what should be expected at this price point and reputation level. What disappointed me most was not simply the food itself, but the complete lack of genuine hospitality and ownership from management. Strong restaurants understand that service recovery matters just as much as the meal. There's a reason establishments like The Capital Grille or Flagler Steakhouse have earned reputations for professionalism and customer care. Sometimes I genuinely think managers at places like this should spend time training in environments where hospitality is treated as an art form rather than an inconvenience. The following day, I was still disappointed enough to write this review. At a certain point, guests should not have to spend over $200 while simultaneously educating a restaurant on how to deliver proper service and quality control.
