Fast casual restaurant, good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Interior was clean and bright. We ordered at a terminal and didn't have to wait long for our food to be brought to the table. My companions loved the vegetable soup. I had a half sandwich with side salad. It all seemed fresh and I liked the bread. Note: the green goddess salad does not come with green goddess dressing. read more

Ordered food the packaging was terrible. Food broke through the bag fell all over my floor called the store. They were rude to me. They actually accused me of being a fake person. Told me $39 wasn't a lot of money. The person on the phone was extremely rude. It was their fault. They should've sent me a new dinner since their soup broke the bag --not a big deal for them. read more

I've been client from Carrot Express since 2018 when I ate the first time, my favorite is so far Liv Wrap and Paradise Açaí Bowl - it was at the original place in Harding Ave near Bal Harbour Shops - Surfside. Today I came by and ordered a Live Wrap and a Açaí Bowl for my surprise the bowl was half of the container and the fruits?! lol for my surprise the fruits disappear under a lot of coconut flakes... Strawberry tine skinny slices(almost meat in my mouth) the banana that uses to be a whole one now is half, the pineapple almost nothing and the blueberries same! I don't mind pay the price the store charges but pay 15$+ for half ps the portion that uses to be is ridiculous!!! Every time someone ask me for a healthy and fresh food I always recommend the Brand Carrot Express - and always tell people I prefer 10x than Pura Vida, that uses to over charge for tiny portion and not so juicy as The Carrot Express. Like an loyal client - please owners, partner etc don't change things that make your business successful in the past, details count and clients are not idiots!!! read more

This was my second visit to this location, and overall, I'm a fan of what The Carrot Express offers. The menu has a great variety of healthy, fresh options, which isn't always easy to find when you're looking for something quick and nutritious. That said, the pricing is definitely something to be aware of. While the quality of the food is high, this is still a fast-casual concept. It's not the spot to grab a quick lunch if you're trying to stay under $20. Wraps easily exceed that price point. During this visit, I ordered the Skinny Green Smoothie, which was very good but came in at $12. My husband had the Poke Bowl Wrap, priced at $23. It did include a Cilantro sauce that complemented the wrap nicely, but drinks are not included, which pushes the total even higher. Another drawback is the counter-service tipping setup. Suggested gratuities start at 18%, which feels steep for an order-at-the-counter experience, especially when that's typically the baseline for full-service dining. I'm giving this location 4 stars because I truly appreciate having healthy, quality options available. However, the high prices and tipping expectations are what ultimately kept this from earning a fifth star read more

I have been a loyal customer for years until today. Lately there is always an issue from wrong food to undercooked food. But today was the last straw. Not until the sweet potato was hard as rock, not even a spoon will cut through it but it was dirty. Literally soil on it. On top of that the manager Carolina offered cero sympathy, instead she tried to justify the unjustifiable. read more

Updating my review for the Coral Gables location: I placed an order yesterday at the Coral Gables store. I was charged and the order never arrived! The order was for delivery but it was clear that the store's fault and not a delivery issue because I never even received a link that I driver was on the way like I usually do. To add insult to injury: no one picked up the number provided! I even called another location and they could not reach them either. So at 9 pm they closed and we didn't have an order. I waited until today to call again and again nothing! No way to reach them, disorganized and bad attitude from the staff. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

There are so many Carrot Express restaurants, I finally got around to trying. I went for breakfast and got a side of sweet potato fries that came with a side of spicy mayo ( SOOOO GOOD!). I was not too hungry, so I got a Strawberry Passion smoothie with added protein powder. The service was awesome, the server let me now if what I wanted was gluten free or not and the ambiance is great- the Gables must be one of their newer locations. Would definitely recommend- the prices are worth it. read more

delicious. but too expensive. I chose other restaurants sometimes c bc of how expensive it is wanting to eat here

While getting our hair done, we got hungry. We couldn't leave the salon so our stylist recommended getting a delivery by Carrot Express and that their food is really good and healthy. We ordered a Tuna Melt with Yucca Chips and also a Salmon Burger bowl. Both were delicious. Delivery was quick and our energy level was restored. Problem solved. read more

The good food here tastes good, however I am skeptical about coming back because of their cleanliness. While eating we were able to watch the workers making the food and prepping everything. We watched a worker grab a box and pull out a bunch of kale. They then began ripping the leaves off and putting it into a machine to chop it, but she did not wash the kale before hand. I also noticed another worker using a rag/towel to clean the inside of the oven and then immediately put food inside the oven without any sort of tray or paper to prevent direct contact to the oven. I'm not sure if the rag had some sort of food safe cleaner on it, but it was definitely something that made me worry about the cleanliness of my food. read more

The food was great, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. The young guy who took my order was super nice and friendly. I ordered a chicken salad in a wrap, but it came in a ciabatta. No big deal, I just asked the waitress for the chicken salad to be put in a wrap instead. The waitress apologized, but when she came back to my table with another staff member they insisted that wasn't an option, despite the menu stating otherwise. To avoid a scene, I ended up taking the sandwich apart and eating it with my salad. For a $26 lunch (thank god I had a coupon lol) that consisted of a smoothie, half salad, and what should have been a half wrap, this was frustrating and unnecessary, especially since my request was reasonable and in line with the menu. read more

I was really excited to try this place for a while however my experience was not good.... I wanted to try the tuna wrap i was handed a menu by a young gentleman took 5 min in that time i told him i wanted a wrap .... He said no wraps...... suggested ciabatta.. i declined... i ordered an ceasar salad and my hubby ordered a wrap after he told me no wrap.....idk if there was a language barrier. Then are oder took forever bc there were three females on the line gossiping without changing their gloves in between touching dirty rags chairs and surfaces. The one makimg my order had the audacity while i was watching her to sit at the counter with her gloves as she finished with our order. Very dissapointed and please if you read this review please be aware how they handle ur food. read more

Carrot Express has become my new favorite place to grab lunch. I love that they offer so many options to pick from all keeping healthy in mind. My go-to orders include: Avocado Toast with the Chicken Salad and Sweet Potato Fries OR Baked Sweet Potato topped with Chicken Salad. However, the food is delicious. read more

Nourishing Miami's inner health but since 1993, this local franchise has kept it real in more ways than one...real fresh that is! You know that mood when you're not really hungry but still convince yourself that another meal would be a responsible choice? Yeah well, that was us. We wanted something light yet vibrant. We just walked in expecting a simple wrap but honestly received that and much more. The menu displayed at the entrance immediately summoned our appetites as we started making strategic menu decisions with add-one galore. We split the Kale Caesar Wrap with a side of Falafel initially. Afterwards, we shared the Tuna Poke Wrap with Kale and Quinoa for the binding factor. At the checkout, I added a bag of yucca chips which went heavenly with the cilantro lime sauce even though Cristina preferred the spicy mayo sauce on the crunchy goods. We grabbed two waters to accompany our meal and immediately noticed the top notch service we were receiving. From the moment we ordered to our table side service and including the "would you like extra sauce" comment that made our visit here the first of many to come. They packaged our leftovers in a very secure and sanitary way which made us even more grateful. Right when I walked out, I noticed I had left my water behind at the table and rushed back in to get it. The staff had already cleared the table but even offered me another bottle of water. I can assure you their hospitality is what sets the standard quite high here and I can't wait to return. I'm really glad I found this spot! read more

This place was great, in a really nice elite neighbor. The inside was very modern contemporary style. The pick up process was super easy, we ordered online and it was there waiting when we arrived. They did make the smoothie when I arrived, which was nice because the smoothie wasn't melted. Parking is super tight, in my opinion it would be best to ride your bike or walk here. Giving it four stars because the mahi mahi wrap could've used more flavor, the sauces did add a little flavor. The Thai noodle salad was nice and fresh, just in cost versus flavor Im giving it a four star. read more

TLDR: great, healthy lunch spot on Miracle Mile. ___ I dropped in for a quick lunch while visiting my mom who lives pretty close. I wanted something healthy and found Carrot Express on Yelp. I got the Poke bowl. Half quinoa half brown rice. Delicious chunks of tuna. This was a nice size bowl and filled me up without leaving me sluggish. Mom got Thai noodle bowl. Also a large bowl. She loved it. The staff was nice. Like super nice. The space has a high ceiling and large windows so it's very bright and open. I sat at the "bar" which was convenient but they also have plenty of tables inside and outside. read more

Carrot Express opened recently on the Mile and it's the perfect healthy, fast casual spot! They work together with my faves at Orange Theory Coral Gables and so you can order from their app and have your food ready after class - amazing! Recently, I won a raffle where I got a gift certificate. My gym friends and I decided to stop in for lunch. We got two poke bowls with tuna and a Brussels sprout salad with mahi. You can get the poke with salmon or tuna, and I was really happy with the tuna. Of the two dishes, the poke was my favorite. The other salad was good, but it comes dressed already with a thing of dressing on the side. I used the side of dressing on the salad before I knew it was already dressed, which was a mistake. It still tasted good - but just wayyy too much dressing. They have salads, bowls, wraps, and veggie burgers. Will definitely be back to try more! read more

I love Carrot Express! I frequently visit the Midtown and Miami Shores location. While on a little day trip to Coral Gables I stopped at their location on Miracle Mile, and would NOT recommend. I don't think I'll ever be coming back. The tables were dirty when we first walked in, which typically doesn't bother me but there was no one in the restaurant. When my food came (I love Mario's Favorite with chicken) it came in a plastic bowl (?!? they usually come in nice plates when you eat in) it barely had any chicken, and the chicken it did have was in tiny little squares. It was mostly rice... mind you this meal was $20 with tip. So disappointed. Carrot Express is off my radar now for go to quick healthy eats. Pro tip: STAY AWAY read more

Recently started picking up lunch from this place and I definitely love it and will be returning! The food is really fresh and simple yet delicious and healthy! The portion sizes are very generous and they really pack up the bowls and wraps with protein. Some places often skimp on the goods like the raw fish but Carrot Express is definitely not one of those. The staff is also really nice and welcoming :). The place IS pricey, not going to lie, but you're definitely getting really good quality, healthy food and generously sized portions. My only I guess you could call complaint is the fact that it's very hard to find parking given that it's on Miracle Mile. Especially if you're picking up (best to go with someone else so they can jump out). I wish they would allow people to pickup at the back of the restaurant. That would definitely make life easier :). read more

I have mixed feelings about this... the one thing that should have been the star of the order, was scorched beyond recognition, while everything else was excellent. Now, before we start, a note: I don't like to waste food, so, I don't send back an order unless 1) it has "added ingredients" such as bags, hairs, insects, etc., or two 2) looks, smells or tastes spoiled and/or unhealthy in some way. So, yes, I ate the whole thing and now I'm reviewing the dissatisfaction. This is the second time me and my coworker come to carrot express. The first time we attempted to order, but upon the third item on the menu we asked for and they didn't have available, we left the first time and ate somewhere else. This was already in COVID season so we are not holding it against the place. The second time, my coworker got an impossible burger and I ordered a salmon burger. This is over 16 each burger plus tax and tip. I was going to order coconut water, but what usually is a $3 bottle was over $9, so I settler for regular water. I point this out just to leave clear the it is not a cheap place to eat, so there's a minimum quality level you expect. As for safety measures go, both servers we interacted to kept their masks on at all times, a prudential distance and a friendly attitude so service could pretty much be rated 4 and a 1/2 stars. The burgers come with one side, we both chose the Green Goddess Salad. I loved it. Tasted fresh, and tasted delicious, the dressing was also very nice. I tend to finish my salad before going for the burger. My coworker eats them together, so I already knew the Impossible burger was a bit overcooked and dry, but overall was a good burger. But when I finally took a bite of my salmon burger... nothing could have prepared me to the level of...scorching... that poor salmon gave its life for. To be clear: the bread, sauces, and veggies of the burger were fresh and tasty... but that salmon patty felt and tasted as if someone tried and succeeded to overcook it in a microwave after someone had already burned it on a griddle. If you have ever reheated anything in a microwave for two minutes over what was needed to burn it, you know what I'm talking about. It sounds like a joke, but I guarantee you I'm not laughing: it was an otherwise excellent burger, would have probably worth the $16+ that costs, but what is supposed to be the star of a burger (i.e.: the patty) was so bad, that I don't think I'll give Carrot Express a second chance. Again: no. I don't send food back, even as bad as this was, it was still borderline edible. Now the good thing is that the dessert took out the awful experience from my taste buds. I had the Tierra cheesecake and my coworker had the strawberry one. I tasted both. Say what you will. Both cheesecakes are vegan, but both are good. And we chose well, too. My coworker liked the strawberry one better, not being a coffee lover, while I enjoyed the Tierra (which is coffee and chocolate) so much, I almost forget to curse them for the salmon patty. Almost. read more

*Review based solely on FOOD* Presentation: 4.5 Texture: 3 Taste: 4 Would return? Yes Very nice place! Good food with large range of options. To define this as "healthy food" I think they do q really good job. The flavor on the poke/tostones dish was really good. I had some issues with the texture of the plantain base because it wasn't crispy enough. I also think the sweet sauce on the bottom was too much and overwhelms the plate. However, very original and definitely delicious!! Worth to try. The salad was also really good although not as original. I added chicken which I thought would combine well but the seasoning on the chicken did not match with the rest of the salad. I guess other proteins would work best. Overall the food is good, I'd come back to try some other menu items. Non-food Bonus: Expensive in my opinion! This is suppose to be a fast-casual type of place and they definitely charge on the high end of that. The attention was good. read more
