From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, creating a great dining experience. The chicken and waffles were, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. Came here late at night after a concert at the Fillmore and I hadn't been here since I was a kid and let me just say it's nothing like I remembered it being: Food was super expensive like extremely overpriced, $16 milk shakes and $26 dollar sliders just for the sliders to be way overcooked, hard and the buns stale. The mozzarella sticks were hard and cold in the middle the cheese was borderline still rock solid. The loaded fries were actually pretty yummy it had cheese and bacon, even the fountain drinks tasted super funky like the syrup went bad in the machine or something but all the sodas had this same weird aftertaste, everything else was atrocious.. My barber told me that I must visit Big Pink while on vacation. I am glad that I did. Parking was a pain. Plus we were short on time. So we got our orders to go. Our server was nice and attentive. I was able to take in the decor (which was cool) while we waited. The variety of the menu items was impressive including all-day breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised by the large portions. Visiting Miami for F1 race weekend and my girl recommended this spot Big Pink. When you enter the restaurant the staff was very friendly the interior decor was laid back with an industrial vibe. I got The Pink Daddy Mack Burger with bacon and french fries with a fountain soda. When the food came out the size of the burger took me by surprise but the food smelled delicious and the taste was to match. We visited here on a Friday late morning and it was packed. There is street parking but it is competitive. There was a paid lot just a few steps away that was $30. We went ahead and parked there for the convenience. Although it was packed, we were seated right away. The menu has tons of selections and the portions are HUGE. I came to big pink with my brother and our bfs after a concert and it was good for what youd expect at 11:30 at night but man was it pricey. I ordered the oreo milkshake, it was a great size, they gave me a full shake and in the metal cup they had like half of it with more. It was good but a bit litquidy and not much oreo. The unfortunate thing is that the shake comes out to almost $16 which is an insane price for a milkshake. We also paid $6 for sodas that tasted pretty bad. The sprite was a bit sour and the coke was very syrupy. We ordered the kobe sliders to share, they were good, a bit dry but still a good hit for almost midnight. We switched the regular fries for the loaded fries and they were delicious!! I think we were missing some toppings tho (sour cream & chives) Also what isn't pictured is the order of mozzarella sticks we got and MANN those were the best mozz sticks ive had in a whilee. Came here with my husband. I ordered a burger which was ok, neither fab or bad My husband ordered a meat pizza. It was terrible. The dough was inedible. Thin ,soggy and chewy in the middle. He had to scrap the eat off to be able to eat it. My husband said it was like eating a leather shoe. It was also very salty. Big Pink was great and I will definitely be back when I visit Miami again! The pancakes were delicious and my friend and I shared this giant margarita! We went here because my favorite color is pink and this place was recommended by a local and we ended up really loving it! It has a diner feel and it felt like a cozy restaurant. The service was amazing and they even have an atm inside if you need to grab cash. We went here before we went on our boat ride for the day and we were nice and full! One thing is due to the popularity of the restaurant, the seating is pretty close to others, so it is something to consider. I've heard they're owned by the Prime Restaurant Group -- and if you know anything about Miami dining, Prime Steakhouse and Prime 112 are two incredible (and very pricey) restaurants just down the street. That close relationship really elevates the food here. For breakfast, I usually go for an omelette, but the chicken and waffles are truly legendary. Most concerning is the noticeable lack of cleanliness; the restaurant felt worn, sticky, and poorly maintained, which ruined the atmosphere entirely. It is a diner feel and the menu reflects that. they even do "TV dinners" specials. I ordered the chicken Parmesan sub, and it came with house chips. The portion was enormous, and the meal was delicious. I loved the house chips. They were super fresh. On a side note, I also ordered a soda, it came as can soda, which is fine but, it was the most expensive soda I have paid for. Honestly, for that price I would've gone with a beer. I've been coming here for years, but my recent visit was by far the worst. It's obvious the business is struggling, and the quality has dropped across the board. I ordered the corned beef hash--nothing like it used to be. My eggs with mushrooms and jalapeños came with pickled jalapeños instead of fresh. The kids' pancakes were three oversized, awful tasting discs that tasted nothing like the fluffy ones they used to serve. Even the cappuccino was disappointing--they're now using KIMBO, which is a very low-quality, watery espresso. The manager walked around without checking on tables or guest satisfaction, looking like she'd just rolled out of bed--overall a very unprofessional presence. She also had her breast on display which is just trashy for any kind of day work outside of prostitution. The only bright spot was the host, Rosa. If you're hung over , this is your place ! The food comes in huge portions, and the menu is so extensive, you can literally find anything you feel like eating ! So many great choices. I ordered the Carnegie deli Reuben but subbed turkey and my husband ordered it as is. The problem with both of our sandwiches is that the meat was extremely dry . It was so dry that dumping thousand Island dressing all over it, did not even help ‍! Very disappointing, as it's owned by Miles Prime who owns 1 of our favorite restaurants with great quality food! ( prime 112.) The sandwiches are served with chips and neither of us felt like that do we upgraded to onion rings and the shoe string fries. Unfortunately, neither of these had any flavor at all to them . I can't believe onion rings didn't don't have any flavor , but they didn't. The fries were a miss , also, as they were not skinny shoe string fries as advertised! They were thinner than big steak fries or potato wedges, but they were not shoe string fries. Our server was great! The ambiance is what you would expect from a deli. Today was particularly fun , as it was Myles birthday and all of the employees were singing to him when he came in to get a sandwich. This shows what a good person and obviously a great employer he is to be treated so well by his employees! I prefer fine dining , so I'll stick to his more ups ale restaurants, but if you like deli food and big portions, great choices , etc. Give their breakfast items or other sandwiches a try.
