A very local vibe, far from the main visitor areas. It was buzzing, even late on a school night. While the pizza menu is somewhat straightforward, they do have a lot of yummy starters to choose from. Baked Clams: This felt like old school Italian-American luxury. Clams jazzed up with buttery breadcrumbs and herbs. Every bite had a nice contrast of chewy clam and crunchy topping. I especially liked trying to scoop up some of the juices on the platter before eating the clam. Pepperoni Chips : Instead of getting pepperoni on the pizza, I decided to get it as a side. Crispy and delicious, like those prime pepperonis that cup upwards on a pizza, except a whole plate of it. There was some honey to dip in, but I didn't need it. Plain Pie: Had to try their famous pie, unblemished by toppings. Really loved the very tomato-y tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella. The covered part of the pizza was a little floppy while the uncovered crust was dry and shattered upon biting. They seemed to have an odd amount of crust and on Yelp I've seen several photos of people eating the yummy middle but leaving the crust. Not wanting to waste it, I ordered a side of sauce. Sauce Side: I was expecting a little dipping ramekin, but it turned out to be like a bowl of soup size. This is perfect for moistening and livening up all that extra crust. All of a sudden leftover crust became delicious breadsticks.

Maybe the best place for Pizza in Florida. For sure the best in Miami. You decide your tops on the pizza. For me the magic is a mix of prosciutto and arugula. The lemonade is homemade and that for me is big times happiness.we are celebrating my grandson's birthday, what a new Yorker way to celebrate in Miami, thanks cousin Mark!

Can you take an NYC legendary mainstay, and transport it to Miami Beach? No way! It turns out, you can! Pizza, pasta, cocktails, brick oven, great staff. It's all here. Even a kids' menu for picky eaters. Indoor or outdoor dining. This is more of an "I can't adequately explain it" type of place. Pretty poor for a reviewer, I admit; however, in town three days...went here three times. Downsides: pricy, but it's Miami Beach. And, be forewarned, pasta dishes come out well before your fresh made pizza (yes, dough rolled with a wine bottle). So, either ask that the dinners come out with the pie, or order pepperoni chips, and don't be a pain. Eat up!

Amazing meatballs and pizza. Will definitely go back. Very fast service, no wait during weekday lunch. Easy to walk in. Resy showed no reservations until later in the afternoon, but the place was empty around noon.

Lucali -- NY Pizza Vibes in Miami Beach Lucali brings true New York-style pizza to Miami Beach -- my absolute favorite kind. The vibe here is everything: warm, rustic, and effortlessly cool. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that this place has energy. The music is fire , the crowd is a perfect mix of locals and visitors, and the space itself feels intimate but elevated. The pizza? Perfection. Thin crust, just the right char, fresh basil, that perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio -- exactly how I like it. You can taste the quality in every bite. Other reviews state that the pizza at Lucali Miami is nothing like the NY location. I have never been to the NYC location and thus can't compare. The drink menu is banging -- creative cocktails that hit all the right notes and pair perfectly with a hot slice straight from their brick oven. If you're in Miami and craving a little NYC flavor with a Miami twist, this is the spot. Great pizza, great drinks, great vibe -- I'll definitely be back.

We hadn't been to Lucali in a couple of years, and I have to say -- the food and service are still just as amazing as the first time we tried it. One thing I'd love to see improved: some of their best dishes aren't listed on the actual menu, even though you can find them online. I really think Lucali should consider adding them officially, or at least have the servers mention them -- they're too good to be kept a secret! We ordered the fried ravioli with vodka sauce, and WOW -- whoever came up with that combo deserves a pat on the back. Absolutely incredible. The Kale Caesar salad was also a hit. It had the perfect balance of bitterness and saltiness, and the croutons were next level -- crunchy, flavorful, and clearly homemade. We also had the chicken wings, which were another highlight. They tasted like a perfect blend of BBQ and hot sauce, with a little drizzle of ranch on top and a bit of char that added extra depth. So good. Finally, we tried the clams (also not on the menu), and they were unbelievably fresh and decadent. Lucali continues to be a solid go-to for us -- consistent, flavorful, and always memorable. Just a little more transparency on those hidden menu gems, and it would be a 10/10!

I will forever and always love and eat PIZZA! I make a point to try every new spot that comes my way in Miami and without a doubt there hasn't and will never be another place like lucali. The quality of ingredients, the attention to detail and the service just match the atmosphere they try to put out. The pizza here will change your life so make sure to take someone special or make a special occasion of it. 10/10

We were seated within 5-10 minutes and ordered the kale caesar salad, all beef pepperoni chips served with honey were crispy and delicious. We ordered a margarita classic, 1 plain pie with olives, artichokes and pepperoni, a pappardelle bolognese and a side of veggies that included mushrooms, onions and red peppers. We also ordered a chicken Parmesan. Don't forget to order a side of hot honey to dip your pepperoni chips! The vibe is cool and a bit dark for dinner and the music plays while it's packed so you may have to sit close.

Highly disappointed. I wish I read and trusted the reviews from people from NYC or outside of Miami. This is truly not NYC pizza. It was okay and tasted like dollar pizza from NYC. The sauce had absolutely no taste. Although it was NY style the taste simply wasn't there. The service was excellent with no wait time despite no reservations. The restaurant is extensive with great seating and good date night vibes. Overall would not return though.

#Iykyk that the NYC post is better, its the original, but that being said, the Miami location is pretty good. Id recommend ordering for pickup or going late and grabbing a table outside. The prices seem to keep climbing...I feel last time I was in the Brooklyn/Carroll Gardens location a pie was $25. Here its $32. Its always consistent. Alwyas good. And beats waiting forever in line in CGardens often freezing cold or raining only to et to the front of the line for them to tell you they arent taking orders or the first available table is at 10:30pm.

Been wanting to visit Lucali for a while now and so glad we finally made the trip to Miami Beach. They don't take reservations so we decided to go for Sunday lunch and the restaurant had a few tables open. When we left, it was pretty full. For an appetizer we ordered the prosciutto bread, which is currently a special they're offering. We didn't realize how much bread came with this order. The whipped ricotta with honey was amazing. I preferred the sesame bread over the prosciutto bread. We ordered the plain pizza with pepperoni on half. I really enjoyed the pizza. The sauce and cheese had the perfect balance. The crust is super crispy like a cracker. I wish they brought the sauce and cheese up more so there was less crust. I'd definitely go back to try other toppings and different signatures.

I recently dined at Lucali for the first time and, wow was I pleasantly impressed! I always worry about potentially overhyped restaurants but I can say - Lucali lives up to the hype!! I arrived on a Saturday night at around 6pm. I know that is an early dinner time for Miami (lol) but I still anticipated a wait just in case. We easily found street parking, but there is also a garage nearby. Luckily, we were quickly seated. The space is quaint & cozy. The servers were great & attentive. We started with the baked clams which was our favorite dish. They were perfectly broiled & the sauce was *chefs kiss*. We opted for a cheese pizza with pepperoni. Very thin crust, and cooked perfectly. $40 for a pie is definitely spicy price but I think it's worth it (and I am a NY pizza snob). To drink I went with an aperol spritz which was kind of underwhelming. My bf got a Peroni, which he enjoyed. For dessert we got the cannolis & an off menu Nutella calzone. I liked the fluffiness of the dough on the calzone but wasn't overly impressed by it overall. I would skip dessert next time, unless I was with a large group - I would like to try the Nutella pizza. Overall, Lucali has easily become my favorite pizza spot so far in Miami. I will definitely be back.

Is it the same owner or franchise than in NYC?

Same owner as in New York The concept is also the same but food isn't prepared to the same standard

Is this restaurant safe for someone with an allergy to pecans and walnuts? The menu doesn't give much detail.

The server will ask you if you have any allergies when you sit down. I clearly remember this but be aware that in Miami as attention to detail isn't part of the Miami scene

    Is this place byob?

They serve wine and there is a corkage charge if you bring your own

So they take reservations for 20 people? Or is this just a first come first serve

They don't take reservations. It's first come first serve.

Do they have tv's and show sporting events?

No really; however, the bar next door which it belongs to Lucali, it's called Bay Club, they do have a proyector and do some night events. Not sure about sporting events but you can always check their calendar. And they have the same menu as in… Read more

    Yes! They have outdoor tables

No, they do not have gluten free pizza, however, they do offer vegan pizza with no cheese!

No but they will make a delicious pie with red sauce and as many veggies as you like. Trust me, it's just as yummy!

No they have wine and beer

Yes!! I just went a few days ago they're always busy so I think that's why they don't always answer

They have a bunch of salads and some sides, but I believe all the pizzas are not gluten free

It can get pretty busy, but a small dog would be okay!

If you know me you know my #1 food is pizza! I have always and will always have space for pizza…read moreeven after eating elsewhere. I've been wanting to come here for years! Ever since i saw the 2 feet large slice of pizza. I have tried many amazing pizzas from all over Florida. But this is one place I'm been waiting for like I mentioned. Well, I finally was able to make it! I ended up going with my husband and friend. We are from Orlando so that's why it took a bit of time to make it to Miami. Walking in the place seems a bit small. But to me I didn't care much because i was there for the good stuff. So we ordered the pizza flight instead of the 2 feet pizza slice. I thought it would be better. Having more variety for 3 people instead of just one large slice of one kind of pizza. We ended up picking the deep dish slice, the og pepperoni with ricotta cheese, chicken and waffles and the vegetarian slice. The three of us shared the pizza flight. Omg! I am so glad we made the trip! All of the slices were absolutely delicious! Phenomenal! And we ate every bit of it! We definitely were almost struggling to finish the last slice because we were pretty full but we finished it! This is now one of my favorite places! You have made it to Carolyn's top pizza list! Thank you for an excellent experience with one of the most fantabulous pizzas places there is! Until next time! See you guys again!

Nick's Pizza in South Beach absolutely lived up to the hype, and then some. I actually found this…read morespot because an ad popped up on Instagram (clearly my phone knew I was in Miami), and I had just seen a viral video of their massive pizza slice challenge. If you can finish it in five minutes, it's free and let me tell you, that is WAY harder than it looks. We gave it a shot, and yeah no single person is finishing that beast in five minutes. It's huge, cheesy, and seriously delicious. We also tried the pizza flight, which was such a fun way to sample different flavors. Everything came out quickly, and the service was super fast and friendly. The vibe is casual, perfect for a quick bite or hanging out with friends, and they even offer alcohol if you want to pair your pizza with a drink. Overall, great experience, great food, and definitely worth checking out, whether you're brave enough for the challenge or just there for some really good pizza.
