Every time we come to Miami, stop here for pizza. The pizza is by the slice or by the whole pizza. The crust is thin (although they do have thick crust too) and it has a nice crisp to it, and the pizza slices are HUGE! They advertise that they have the largest pizza slices in Miami. The seating area is modest, but if you're in the neighborhood atop by and give it a try.

    All the way.

Love the pizza because it is huge. They have that family working cohesion, the service is impeccable. The ambiance is what you'd expect anywhere- lots of neon and open ceiling design. The tables along the wall are cast from concrete used for the original building! How cool is that?

I was walking around South Beach and craved pizza. Walked into this pizza bar and ordered two slices with my partner. They have outdoor and indoor seatings. They serve beer also. We ordered all the way slice and the mushroom with truffle. The slices are huge! It was also very tasty. I love how it was not thick crust but thin. The pizza was heated up fast and they have condiments for the pizza. The servers were nice to us. They were also quick to shoo out a person who was causing trouble in the restaurant.

The pizza was a pizza, it was a lot of grease but it was decent. This was my first time at this location, the service was good, the young lady was able to answer a lot of questions my friend had. This place is a quick stop if you are walking on Collins and drinking.

Pizza Bar never disappoints! When on the beach and feeling like a cheat I always grab a slice for as far back as I can remember. Good fast service and cute size decor.

Huge slices, very nice interior, lots of seats and the ordering flows well as it seems to be quite a busy spot in the beach. We came here after walking around lincoln road and it turned out to be an excellent choice for us! They have a great variety of pizza options, this is a perfect option for a yummy and quick bite after a night out in Miami beach!

Honestly, it was better than I would have expected. Finally went in here after twenty-ish years of walking past it on Collins (what happened this time was that I'd had a small snack for supper and my stomach went nuts growling so I thought, "Why not grab a slice at that pizza place over by the National?," and walked up from where we were staying at The Betsy) and I really wasn't disappointed. I guess I shouldn't be surprised: places don't stay in business in this area unless they bring something to the table. What I found at Pizza Bar Collins Ave was fast, friendly service with no line. Only a few tables but a decent counter to sit and eat. Prices were reasonable and the size of the slice was notably larger than expected (not that I didn't eat every bite before staggering back to the room). Toppings were fine, nothing special, but they had the East Coast complement of pepper flakes, oregano and quasi parmasan there to doctor up the slice. Hey, I'm glad I stopped. I'd go back next time I'm in a similar "I've gotta eat something but don't want a fuss" spot - but it's not a place I'd bring my wife to try.

For being a quick place to get a slice of pizza, especially late at night. This is the place to go. Everyone here is very nice. It's ok inside the place. The pizza actually is pretty good and the garlic ball is also very tasty. We will definitely come back.

This place is absolutely amazing! It might look like a hole in the wall but the giant slices they're serving up absolutely rock. Easy to order at their walk up counter. We were not expecting the pizza to taste as good as it did. For a quick and easy pizza meal this place definitely gets a 5!

10/10 pizza slice! They were super quick, staff was great and the slices are huge, shareable, and delicious.

My belated review from 2022! Massive pizza slices, very tasty! I ordered the tomato basil pizza and really enjoyed it. This post is open until like 3am or 4am I think, which is awesome for South Beach festivities lol. My pizza was cooked perfectly and delicious. I also ordered garlic knots and they were actually not so great. Seemed like stale old bread that was barely cooked through. It was weird. I was confused because the pizza was so great. Haha, but I guess you can't win them all. They had armed security sitting inside which made me feel safer and less safe all at the same time lol. But hey, it's South Beach I get it. There was a super drunk lady causing all kinds of issues who was also named Ashley so it made getting my order more difficult than it need to be....but AGAIN it's South Beach so all good lol. Great service, great pizza!

Not artesenal pizza, but HUGE slices heated to melty cheesey gooey deliciousness at $9/slice. Each slice is 1/8 of a 32" pie, very filling! Get it while in Miami!!

Ok no so we arrived at like 4am due to a late flight and we were starving. I don't know if this pizza was so good because of how hungry we were or because it was just that damn good!! We had pepperoni and cheese slices, which but he way are extra larger and technically could be two slices. They were thin crust, flavorful, hot and just yummy as hell. They had Great customer service/friendly staff even that late at night. It was still quite busy with customers eating in or picking up. (They're Open until 5am thank goodness). We're gonna try it again while we're in Miami to really put it to the test (cuz we're pizza heads) but it's definitely worth checking out.

Italian restaurants often talk about simplicity, tradition, and technique. Macchialina backs up those claims with execution. You can certainly order à la carte, but I would strongly encourage first-time visitors to consider the chef's tasting menu. At $75 before wine pairings, it feels almost suspiciously underpriced. By the end of the meal, I wasn't wondering whether it was worth the money. I was wondering how they weren't charging more. The first course arrived as a trio. Creamy polenta with mushrooms, onions, and chives, broccoli rabe topped with toasted breadcrumbs and a soft-boiled egg, and a savory pastry filled with sliced pork and a rich sauce. All three were excellent, but the polenta was the dish that immediately demanded attention. I've had a lot of polenta over the years. Very little of it has approached this texture. It was impossibly smooth, somewhere between polenta and a luxurious puree. Combined with the mushrooms and broth, it delivered a deep, earthy blast of umami that lingered long after the bowl was empty. The second course showcased three pasta dishes. Macchialina's signature cavatelli with veal meatballs, porchetta, and pecorino, agnolotti stuffed with ricotta in brown butter sauce, and a classic cacio e pepe. Choosing a favorite felt unfair. The cavatelli delivered hearty comfort and deeply savory flavors, thanks in large part to the tender veal meatballs. The agnolotti burst with creamy ricotta filling in every bite. The cacio e pepe served as a reminder that great ingredients and proper technique rarely need embellishment. For the third course, a veal Milanese arrived perfectly fried and topped with arugula, concentrated tomatoes, and Parmigiano Reggiano. A grilled lemon accompanied the plate for a final squeeze of brightness. Halfway through the dish, I found myself thinking a touch of balsamic might improve things. Then I caught one of the concentrated tomatoes in a bite and immediately abandoned that thought. The tomatoes provided exactly the acidity and sweetness the dish needed. Nothing more was required. Dessert sealed the deal. Bread pudding made from Sullivan Street brioche, banana, hazelnut crumble, and bitter chocolate. It was paired with vanilla ice cream, and drizzled with caramel sauce. It was rich without becoming heavy, sweet without becoming cloying. The slight bitterness from the chocolate kept everything balanced. It ranks among the best bread puddings I've eaten. Technically, the tasting menu is four courses. In reality, it delivers eight thoughtfully prepared dishes that showcase the kitchen's range, creativity, and restraint. For diners curious about tasting menus but hesitant to jump into a multi-hundred-dollar fine dining experience, Macchialina offers one of the best entry points I've encountered. It feels approachable, generous, and remarkably polished. Some tasting menus leave you impressed. The best ones leave you planning your next visit before you've even paid the check. Macchialina belongs firmly in the second category.

First impressions matter, especially in a restaurant, and this was not a professional welcome. Once seated, our waiter seemed to have very little knowledge of the menu. He could not answer basic questions about the ham or provide information about the food. We had to call him three times, and eventually another server came over, but communication was difficult because they spoke very little English. The food was equally disappointing. The prosciutto was sliced incredibly thick--more like a steak than traditional prosciutto. Anyone familiar with Italian cuisine knows that prosciutto should be cut paper-thin. It was clear that the staff did not know how to prepare or serve it properly. Overall, poor service, lack of product knowledge, and improperly prepared food made this a disaster of a dining experience. I would not return.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The ambiance is beautiful--elegant, intimate, and welcoming. After a short wait in the bar area, we were escorted to our table, where we found it beautifully decorated with roses and rose petals in honor of our anniversary. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture. In fact, the couples dining around us were joking with my husband that he was making them look bad because their tables didn't have the same romantic setup. It made us feel incredibly special. What impressed me most was how genuine the hospitality felt. I've dined at many of Miami's most exclusive and expensive restaurants, and sometimes they make you feel like you should be grateful just to be there. Casa Tua is the complete opposite. The team genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience for every guest. They aren't pretentious--they're warm, thoughtful, and focused on hospitality. Those little details make all the difference. The food was absolutely phenomenal. While the menu isn't extensive, everything we ordered was exceptional. I had just returned from a trip to Italy, and I can honestly say the truffle pasta at Casa Tua was every bit as good as the best pasta I had there. It was outstanding. The Branzino deserves its own paragraph. I've ordered Branzino at some of the finest restaurants around the world, and this was, without question, the best Branzino I've ever eaten. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely unforgettable. To top off an already incredible evening, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary dessert beautifully decorated with "Happy Anniversary." It was another thoughtful touch that made our celebration feel even more personal and memorable. Dessert was incredible, the wine selection was excellent, and every single course exceeded our expectations. Another pleasant surprise was the value. Considering the quality of the food, the level of service, the beautiful setting, and the location in South Beach, I expected to spend far more. I've paid nearly twice as much at other Miami restaurants and left far less impressed. Finding this combination of exceptional food, genuine hospitality, beautiful ambiance, and reasonable pricing is incredibly rare. I also have to recognize our server. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, which is a shame because he deserves a special mention. He was a young gentleman from Venezuela who provided some of the best service I've received in a very long time. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help. Every recommendation he made was excellent, and throughout the evening, we never felt rushed. Instead, we felt cared for and welcomed, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. In today's world, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find restaurants that excel in every category: outstanding service, exceptional food, beautiful ambiance, and fair pricing. Casa Tua delivered on all of them. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there on Thursday, July 2, and it was an evening we'll never forget. From the beautifully decorated table with roses and petals to the complimentary anniversary dessert, every detail made us feel celebrated. I sincerely hope this level of hospitality is what they consistently deliver because if it is, they have earned lifelong customers. I cannot wait to return, and I will be enthusiastically recommending Casa Tua to all of my friends and family. It was, without question, one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had.
