We checked out Ben's pizza but the location in Dadeland mall. Unfortunately, I can't find the Dadeland location on Yelp but I still wanted to review the franchise. The pizza was great, you get 2 slices for the price of 1. It was soo much pizza we had to take some to go. The service was quick and we did not have to wait long. My favorite was the pepperoni pizza with hot honey and stracciatella. It was absolutely delicious! The cheese pizza was also very yummy. This pizza joint was a great addition to the food court at Dadeland. I really hope it lasts because it really hit the spot. read more

The pizza slices here were huge and priced at pretty good prices as well being in downtown Miami. There were also seats next to the pier. Pizza is good and they have cheese and sauces for you to put on yourself as well. Definitely would try this place if you're looking for something fast and more budget friendly. read more

Quick and efficient, you can order with one of the employees or you can order by yourself through their order machine. Super easy straightforward they sent you a message letting you know your food is ready. I got the original cheese. This slice are big and then the salsa was delicious. A little bit salty but delicious nonetheless their pepper and chili mix is also delicious and powerful. At 8:50 a slice. You can use it as a pre-dinner snack to share with someone. My only suggestion is eat it quickly because it does become stiff as it cools down from how thin it is. read more

These pizza are GI-NORMOUS! They are truly, as advertised, a fourth of a large sized pizza. I got the pepperoni and it was delicious! I like that its thin and appreciate that it doesnt have much red sauce. I cant speak on the service since i tried this at the Dadeland mall foodcourt, but in terms of service there, ir was great! I definitely recommend stopping by for a large (sharable) and affordable slice of your fav pizza! They have so many flavors, meat lovers, cheeses, pepperoni, veggie. All at a great price! The pizza was unfortunately overrated, with a crust that was quite dry and lacking in flavor. The sauce was sparse, which left the pizza feeling bland. You must order the Stracciatella with the pepperoni and hot honey! That was the best combo. The employees made our slices right to order so they were super fresh. We didn't realize you get two slices for the price. And we picked up our order we had way more than we thought we were getting. Which is a nice surprise because it's Miami Over all I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and we just happened to run In to it while we were at the bayside market area. It's a cute little spot for lunch on the weekends. They have live music and they seating is outside on the inter coastal. read more

Walked by and immediately had a craving for a slice of pizza! Ben's has two locations at the Bayside Marketplace. They have a limited selection of pizza options to choose from but definitely something to m eat the needs of many. Slices range between $10-$12 for two large slice per selection. We ordered the Meat Lovers and the Mushroom pizza. Meat Lovers was the headliner for flavor. The Mushroom lacked major flavor and there could definitely be more sauce added to both. The style is brick oven reheated style thin crust, so definitely a perfect light lunch bite. Service is quick and friendly. Walk up style with options for eat in at nearby tables or to go boxed. read more

This pizza was a pretty good pie but nothing special. The service was decent but not the friendliest. All they have is outside dining. So it's loud and awfully hot in Miami so it made it hard to eat while you are sweating. I'm not a fan of pizza by the slice it's just reheated pizza. We needed a snack at Bayside. My wife and I shared an order which was 1/4 of a huge pie in 2 pieces. It was thin crust. We got the Hawaiian. We really enjoyed it. I love thin crust pizza. Delicious, thin crust slices. The price of the slices on the menu is for a quarter of a pie so technically 2 big slices. We enjoyed had the pepperoni and the plain. The pepperoni was fantastic, you can skip the plain. The pepperoni was full of delicious flavor and the kick of the pepperoni made the sauce stand out. (From March 2023) Heading to the Heat/Jazz game, I saw this place on the way so stopped to see what the slices are. The smell enticed me to make a purchase as I went with the mushroom truffle slice and munched on it while walking towards the arena. The slice felt like it was made fresh with the truffle and oils coming through in the tastings. Crust is thin with excellent consistency; slices are enormous as well. It is expensive at $9 for the truffle mushroom but they consider 2 slices as 1 large slice so breaking it down, it's not a bad deal. Customer is fast and the shop is pretty clean. Definitely worth a visit for simple thin slices. read more

In the neighborhood has decided to try this pizzeria since it hurts so much. As an added bonus it's so close to home that we can walk here. The slices are basically 2 for 1. The prices are a little bit expensive however considering food court prices, it's within the normal. Rodrigo was it extremely friendly and explained our different choices. 'Zza after wine is a thing for me, and Ben's Pizza was my latest spot after this last Friday's wine tasting nearby. They're one of the newest restaurants in Bayside and from what I can tell have two spaces: right at the entrance near the old Guess store (yeah I'm that old) and right on the water near the older sit-down Italian place and with a view of the boats and crowds (this is the one I ate at). At least this spot is counter serve where you order one of the pre-made slices, it gets zapped for you and bam! The slices were huge! I'm talking almost bigger than those from a certain old school Miami pie joint. I ordered a Hawaiian (of course) and a pepperoni. Truth be told I would have been good with just one. The slice is light and had a decent crisp to it, and both were pretty generous on toppings. My favorite - begins with an H - had a pretty generous spread of pineapple pieces. It could have used some more ham though. It's certainly a good spot for a bite while touristing. I'm holding it to three stars since at least this space was more like grab and go. The one closer to the entrance I noticed had a few more tables. Maybe if that one has table service I'd round it up next time. read more

While visiting Miami for my yacht charters, I stopped by Ben's Pizza near Bayside and it was a great experience. I ordered the classic cheese slice and it came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The Regina Pizza was topped with a nice helping of perfectly salty prosciutto as well as baby tomatoes and greens. We also asked for extra sauce and chili oil which made the pie even better! Of course, there was dessert! With its crumbly graham cracker crust, creamy ricotta cheese and pear pieces this dessert made for a sweet ending and was enough to be shared between the three of us.

The whole interaction just felt strange and uncomfortable, especially considering we had the exact same issue at the same table. Between the pizza not quite living up to the expectations I had going in and the experience on my second visit, I'm glad I tried it, but I don't think it's a place I'd go out of my way to return to.

I'm a huge fan of any pizza joint that serves hot honey on their pies, so when the craving hit, I decided to give Ben's a try. Nestled inside Bayside, the aroma of freshly made pizza wafting through the air led me straight to its entrance. While the pizza crust was a tad thinner than my preference, the flavors were outstanding. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the sauce struck the perfect balance between sweet and tangy. Opting for the hot stacciatella pizza, topped with pepperoni, hot honey, and stracciatella, was an excellent choice. Seriously one of the best pizza I've ever had. The slices are HUGE, pizza is light so you don't feel gross after and it's simply delicious. The staff goes above and beyond. You can see it's family owned, I was told it was named after one of the owners sons! If you're lucky you may even catch Ben there, he's the sweetest little boy. They actually have 2 locations at bayside, one is definitely a more chill vibe where you can sit and order an entire pie and the other location is really in the mix of the party. Quality While Pieducks can definitely satisfy a pizza craving, it is not a place I would see myself frequenting. Pieducks uses a traditional brick oven for its pizza, which I feel always sounds like it will be better than it actually ends up. The Medium Cheese Pie we ordered was decent, but the major problem was it was far too greasy. Every time you pick up a slice a pool of grease was sitting in its place and because of it the crust got soggy fast. The Garlic Bread Sticks were very strange as some pieces were covered with cheese and garlic and others were just barren. I did enjoy the garlic and ranch dressing it came with and it works great with the pizza. Quantity The Medium Cheese Pie is 12 inches and was enough for two people to share. The Garlic Bread Sticks came in a small container with about twelve pieces. Value My biggest issue with Pieducks was that it was too expensive for what it was. It is definitely closer to a chain level of pizza quality than a gourmet pizza shop, but followed the more expensive cost structure. A plain pie at 12 inches was over $13 and the Garlic Bread Sticks cost an almost outrageous $9. Ambiance Pieducks is located in Brickell along a stretch of bars and restaurants below an apartment building. The restaurant itself is almost a completely blank canvas. Aside from the large brick oven in the far corner the walls are empty and the space is cavernous. The high ceilings and the very few tables do not make it feel like a place you would want to actually sit and enjoy your pizza. There was also no music playing and no televisions. Considering it is pizza that is time sensitive with its quickly forming grease pools, making a more comfortable setup would likely improve the quality that people experience. They did have two tables outside, but no shade would likely drive people away from that as well. Crowd I was the only person in the restaurant, but considering it is primarily takeout and delivery that should not come as a surprise. Service The pizza was ready exactly on time and the cashier had it set to go, not much else to say about that. Parking It was not difficult to grab a street spot along the same stretch of road as the restaurant. I would recommend bringing someone with you if you grab takeout in case you need to park illegally for a second while you run in. Extra Pieducks did not impress me with their food, but it was the prices that were the real issue. While the pizza was greasy, it was still passable and I did enjoy it with the sauce from the bread sticks. But it costs way too much for what it actually is. Also, do not expect to eat at the restaurant, they did not really set up for a dine-in option.
