Finally got a chance to come back to Miami Slice on a Thursday night and had a great experience! The food, the service, everything was awesome.

I finally decided to check out Miami Slice to see what all the hype was about. We went on a Sunday night, which worked out perfectly no line and free (but limited) parking right outside. The service was super friendly. I mentioned to the hostess that it was my friend's birthday and she surprised him with a free cookie, which was such a nice touch. Shoutout to Ashley for that! We sat outside, which made for a really chill vibe. We ordered a half pepperoni / half margherita pie. The pizza was thin, crispy, and delicious. Not quite New York pizza but I'll admit, I'm a tough critic. The crust had a great crunch, and they offer dipping sauces if you're into that sort of thing. We grabbed a side of hot honey and drizzled it on the pizza, which was definitely the move. I also tried the Froze, and it was really good refreshing and perfect for a Miami night. All in all, it was a solid experience and I'm glad I went. That said... $65 for a pie feels pretty steep. I get that the place has gone viral, but that doesn't mean people should feel exploited. Still, good vibes, good food, and great service worth trying at least once

Every time I come here I'm reminded how phenomenal this spot is. I love me a spot that has a simple menu but everything is made to perfect and Miami Slice certainly offers exactly that. Sitting at the bar is the move so I always try to snag a seat there. My go-to is the margarita with all the kicks and the mushroom pizza. The experience is nothing short but perfect, with good music playing, a side of their vodka sauce for a crust dip, and excellent service (shout out to my server for saving my the last Liger's cookie). I'm always reminded that sometimes even the simplest concepts can be elevated to a whole other level.

Hot honey pizza with a few add ons. Best option here

Came here recently with a few friends. Parking is a pain. Line is super long. Pizzas are way overpriced. They taste alright. Once you finally have your food and sit down with your friends, of course you have a decent time. We were also able to find a pretty big picnic table to accommodate us. We initially ordered one pie half pepperoni proper (hot honey ) and half mushroom truffle. I think it was over 70 dollars. I expected to have an outstanding pizza with that price and it was just okay. Crust was flavorless. You can go anywhere else and pay half the price or less and get a better pizza in my opinion. In all fairness, one of our friends came a little later and ordered the hot honey pizza with a few add ons (stracciatella and I think basil and a side of pesto) and that tasted way better... but I think it was over 10 dollars in add ons on an already overpriced pizza. I had tried a slice from here about a year ago from a friend who brought it over a few hours later and I had really enjoyed that. This leads me to believe Miami slice got overly confident and are no longer providing the same quality as they once were but are still charging top dollar. I would honestly not recommend this pizza to anyone. They definitely do not live up to the hype whatsoever. Imagine a hectic parking situation, walking a long distance, standing in a long line, paying probably twice as much as any other pizza place only to have an okay pizza with a flavorless crust. There are better options out there.

Miami Slice is absolutely worth the hype. There is almost always a line outside, but the staff does a great job keeping it moving and the wait never feels as long as it looks. The ambience is small and cozy, and even though seating is limited both inside and outside, the vibe works perfectly with the whole slice-bar feel. As a New Yorker, I take my pizza seriously, and this place definitely earned my approval. The crust has the perfect crunch and the flavor is on point. You can tell they really care about what they're doing. I love getting the side of stracciatella cheese. I tried it once directly on top of my slice and it was a bit too much for me, but on the side it was perfect and added just the right amount of creaminess. I've been here a few times now and it's consistently great. I will definitely keep coming back.

I am sure that if you did a google or TikTok search trying to get a feel for the Miami Food Scene, Miami Slice was one of the first places to pop up. And that is for good reason. The Miami Slice team arrived to Miami with the purpose of elevating the pie scene to new heights and they have been able to accomplish just that. Serving pizza by the slice which some could say is a little pricey, once you take a bite you'll understand the higher price-point and the renowned respect they've gained in the city. Without a doubt, have at least one slice of their Pepperoni Proper with their "all kicks upgrade" (yes, although overpriced, it's worth it if you feel like being a little extra but by no means necessary) to truly experience the spectacle of Miami Slice. I would say that after trying this place, I started to notice the trend they set with this slice alone, as many places now try to emulate the magic but fall short. You can't go wrong with any of their slices, so go hungry and be prepared to make a bit of a line on busy days, but one that will be worth it every time.

Although we arrived shortly before closing, the staff accommodated us with no fuss. We were allowed to sit in the patio area as indoor seating wasn't available. They were very honest about the size of the pizza pie and recommended we get slices instead. It had a dark and cozy vibe inside yet chill and fun outside. The pepperoni pizza had a bit of sweetness to it but it was perfect. The margherita we also very good. As a New Yorker it's hard to find good pizza. This was a hit in my household and we will be returning to try the rest of the menu.

Miami Slice is an interesting concept of everything that you shouldn't do that works. The location is odd, the wait time is long, and the pizza itself is a hybrid. But it all works. I enjoyed the crunch of the pizza. I wish the whole pizzas were smaller, I can eat a whole Neapolitan pizza but not here, these pizzas are really big. I got a fungi pizza slice, it was well made yet not amazing. I am sure if I had ordered a whole pizza, it would have been amazing, but it was just me. The fungi slice also is the same repetitive recipe that all pizzerias have, so there was no surprise flavor. I assume all other pizzas are reproductions of trends floating around, hence 4 stars.

After hearing so much hype from my sister and friends, I finally gave this place a try. There's only one location in South Florida and there was a long line when we arrived. Seating inside is limited, but there's a decent amount of outdoor tables. The staff was very friendly. We ordered the Mushroom Truffle, La Salsera, and Pepperoni Proper with hot honey pizzas to share. While the flavors were good, they didn't quite live up to the hype or the price. Overall, it was a nice experience, but I found it a bit overpriced and overrated. I'm glad I tried it, but I wouldn't go back, there are better pizza spots out there for less.

Had been meaning to try this place for so long due to all the hype online. I would say it is overhyped though. It is good pizza but nothing insane. It is nice and thin and the flavors are good but I wouldn't drive all the way to this location, deal with parking, and wait 30-40 minutes to get a seat just for this. I do like the vibe of the place and how it gives an omakase vibe sitting at the bar and watching them make your slices. Tried all but the margarita. Truffle and the one with pesto and vodka were my fav. They give you a little pizza cutter so you can share slices which is cute.

The best pizza in Miami? Debatable. It was on my list because I love pizza and I decided to cross it off. I tried to get there around opening to beat the crowd and not struggle with parking. I was surprised there was a steady flow of people even so early. I drove from Broward and I will say it's not worth the drive. Pretty average. Tasty but not mind blowing. I have to give credit where credit is due though, the pasta sauce is one of the best I've ever had on pizza and I hate pasta sauce on pizza. Where's the cheese?? It's def a must try at least once so you don't feel as if you're missing out. You never know, it might be your vibe!

    Marissa B.

Super delicious pizza! Definitely one of the top in Miami. Very busy spot. We got the mushroom truffle and the pepperoni proper (2 slices). I waited on a bit of a line outside to be able to walk in and order. I love that Miami slice offers pizza by the slice, as pies can be a bit cumbersome and we weren't that hungry for a whole pie in the moment. Relaxing ambiance inside, but quite loud. Servers and cashiers were kind and helpful. I would recommend this pizza place to any visitor in Miami who wants NY style pizza.

Listen here this pizza is worthy of the hype ... crispy thin crust that tastes so fresh similar to New York with a beautiful tomato sauce. It's a quality slice . Please try them out

That experience was a little better. Back then, I had no idea Joe's was a chain from NY because my experiences in LA were so mediocre. But it became nostalgic to me because it was the only pizza spot during the pandemic that got better while other spots got worse so I started ordering more regularly. I was happy to see Joe's here and this time I had to come back for a third time in Miami. The Caprese pie was my favorite. The ingredients here are way fresher than anything I've had in the west coast and the location was much cleaner as well! In general, we were disappointed with Miami's food selection but Joe's in Miami is where it's at! The service was average. They were friendly the first time but not so much the other times. The pizza was amazing though and that's all that matters.

A Slice of Home in Wynwood…read more When you're craving a legit New York-style slice in Miami--and especially when you're missing home a little--Joe's Pizza just hits. No matter the city, Joe's is always a safe bet, but in Wynwood it lands a little differently because true NY-style pizza is hard to come by down here. Check my other Yelp reviews if you doubt that. Joe's is absolutely up there. I stopped in on a Tuesday night after work to meet a colleague, go over some notes, and grab a couple of slices. The place was busy but ran smoothly, and it was shockingly clean for a pizza joint--major points there. I ordered a pepperoni slice and a sausage slice. Sausage is usually my go-to, and it did not disappoint, but the pepperoni was straight fire too. Thin crust, solid fold, classic flavor--exactly what you want. Service was fine. Nothing bad at all, just not memorable. No extra warmth or flair, but everything worked, orders came out right, and that's really all you need in a slice shop. Beverage selection is pretty limited--soda and water--which seems to be a recurring Wynwood thing. I don't drink soda, so I was on bottled water duty, but honestly, I'll live. The vibe is iconic. It feels like Joe's, through and through. This isn't the spot you bring someone who's visiting Miami looking for "Miami food." But if you live here--or you're from New York and need a reminder of home--this is exactly what you're looking for. Final take: a strong four stars, and honestly, I'd give it 4.5 if Yelp let me. Not quite a five, but close. I love having Joe's in the neighborhood and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you're in Wynwood and need a real slice.

But anyway, on to why we're all here - The Pizza: The crust had a great crunch but I felt lacked nuance beyond that, no chew and a touch on the dry side. Cheese and sauce were fine but also unremarkable. The heaps of basil provided some bright freshness that was definitely appreciated.
