What caught my attention was the smell and view of these huge pizzas in the window. So we had to go try. The service was great. After warming our pizzas they offered a garlic butter that they brushed onto the pizza before they closed the box and pointed where the Parmesan and peppers were. Our little lunch stop in Miami was pretty good. Me and my family went in and grabbed two slices for three people. Yes, we were moderately drunk, and yes it was 1:30am, but I've found myself in that same situation in NYC and still been critical of my chosen slice. From what I was told, either the owner or the guy that was there (do not remember if that was the same person) said he was from Brooklyn, and the sauce and chew did remind me of pizza at home, so I'm inclined to believe him and attribute the taste to solid NYC roots. In any case, the slice is huge, tasted great, and absolutely hit the spot. And, if you ask, they will cut it for you into a bunch of little squares so you don't look like a complete fool trying to eat it. Don't let the three stars deter you.
