I don't know what happened to what used to be my favorite pizzeria, but I'm very sad about it. I've been coming here with my son for mommy dates every week since he was a baby. He's 5 now. We always loved the pizza, the food, the staff, the atmosphere, especially the staff, but since the staff changed everything went down. The people working here now are not only incompetent but they are weird. What used to feel like a neighborhood gem, now feels like a restaurant on Ocean Drive. This is more about the customer service than the food which is some of the better pizza in the area. I recently had a terrible experience with this place when I ordered pick up on Uber Eats. The store was actually closed but still had its storefront open on the Uber Eats app. They took my order and when I went to go pick it up when the app indicated that it was ready the door was locked. I knocked on the glass door and the owner came to the door and yell at me thru the glass that his pizza oven wasn't working. I yelled back can you cancel the order on Uber Eats then and he just yelled at me that he was closed. The store should not take orders when they are closed. This led to me having to call Uber Eats customer service to get the order canceled myself. They need to shut down the storefront on the app if they are having issues. But to yell at a customer who shows up looking for his order is unconscionable!! Shame really because the pizza is quite good. read more

Collins Pizza is amazing - we had great service, ice cold beer, and delicious pizza. The pizza was made to order, prepared quickly and accurately. The vodka sauce pizza is incredible. We found parking just outside the restaurant and since it was the middle of the afternoon, we had the place almost to ourselves! The crust is the best... They have a good hh deal which consists of 2 slices for $8.50, but only for the slices available. They also have alcohol in happy hour. Mostly wine and beer. The service is decent. This place is a hidden gem! We discovered this place through groupon and after one bite of their food we were wondering why they even needed to use group on and now I understand why.... You just need to try it one time and you will be amazed. The food is phenomenal and the prices are very good. A beer was only $4.50. The size of their small pizza is huge! I got delivery a few weeks ago and it was great. Thin crust, floppy slices, like being in NYC. It was delivered quickly and was hot. Then I got delivery again two nights ago and it was terrible. It took over an hour longer than quoted. The pizza was overdone and cold when it finally arrived. I was really disappointed. It is in a very nice area of Miami on Collins a little north of crowded south beach. There is a parking lot around the corner. The staff is friendly, they have a nice menu with reasonable prices and a variety of options, pizza, grinders, pasta, chicken, salads etc. The food tastes homemade and is made with high quality ingredients. The pizza was delicious, u can taste the flavor in the quality cheese used. Definitely my new go to spot, also a nice place to walk before or after dining. We tried the chicken parm pizza and absolutely loved that, as well as a slice of pepperoni, their Buffalo wings, and another white pizza with bacon and mushroom that was delicious. Extremely Disappointing Experience My mother placed an online order at Collins Pizza which was supposed to be ready for pickup at 11:45 AM on 5/18/2025. I went to go pick up the order for her. When I arrived on time, I was told by the pizza maker that it would be another hour wait - no apology and with an attitude that seemed as if he didn't care at all. His colleague arrived minutes later and I showed her the order confirmation which showed that $72.05 was already paid and that pickup was at 11:45AM. She acknowledged that she already saw the order on her end, and after some back and forth agreed to have the pizza ready by 12:30PM. That didn't happen either. The pizza wasn't actually ready until 1:17 PM, 1.5 hours late. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. If you value your time and just basic customer respect, I'd strongly recommend ordering elsewhere. I'm more than happy to post pictures proving all of the above, which I did on Google Review of this place but cannot seem to find it on Yelp. read more

Love this place. Have always loved it for slices (best pizza by the slice I've ever had outside of New York--and it's better than a lot of New York slices, too!). Last night tried the meatballs and the gnocchi bolognese--both delicious and very affordable (I think $10 and $12 at happy hour). Collins Pizza definitely gets a high ranking on my Late Night Gourmet list after stopping by after the March full moon party in nearby North Shore Open Space Park. Although like a lot of late night places they have premade pizza slices, they will prepare a fresh and flavorful pizza from their menu even close to closing time! So here's my scenario. I'm coming from the beach, probably dragging sand and soaked from wading into the water (you know, moved by the fire and drums). Are they still open and can I eat in? Yes, including table service. Since they're a late night shop in the area and I had a custom order, there was a little bit of a wait. All good. the flavor was worth it. They also were out of the arancini appetizer I wanted to try. The mozarella sticks I enjoyed were lightly breaded, plenty cheesy and they didn't skimp on the marinara dipping sauce. As it were, it was generous enough to dip some crust pieces in. Speaking of crust, my buffalo chicken 12" pie had a perfectly crispy one. They were generous with the chicken and sauce. It's not DiGiorno, it's DELIVERY! As a NJ native, my bar for pizza, calzone and stromboli is VERY high. Few places outside of the NY/NJ/CT area can produce quality Italian-American favorites ("it's the water"!), but Collins Pizza can hang with the big boys! We ordered last night and very much enjoyed the meal. The pizza crust is the standout. They advertise that they do a 72 hour rise on the dough and I do not doubt that. It was perfection; worthy of a Hollywood Handshake. We had the roasted veggie pizza and it included whole green olives, mushrooms and red onion. A great combo! We also had the spinach ricotta calzone. I was neutral on this one. For some reason, the dough excellence did not carry over as well in calzone format. The filling had a LOT of spinach, which I liked, but it could have used a sidecar of tomato sauce because it was a little dry. The prices are high, but ultimately worth it as the quality of the food is excellent. I ordered through Facebook Messenger to get a 25% discount. Didn't love the FB interface, but I did love the 25% off. They charge a delivery fee and auto gratuity 15% of the order on the delivery, which I would ordinarily balk at, but it was pouring rain, the delivery dude was super friendly and the food arrived in 20 minutes, so WORTH IT! read more
