Growing up here this place was a favorite of mine. I've moved away, but I always made sure to get a slice or two whenever I was in town. It's probably been 3-4 years since I was last here. I went there tonight and it's definitely not the same any more. Their unique pizza crust is gone and replaced with some cheap thin tasteless subpar crust. Besides their variety of toppings, their crust was the one thing that stood out from all the other pizza places on the beach. It's a shame what the owners have done to the place. read more

This place sucks. I ordered a pizza with pineapple, pepperoni, onions and jalapeños. It arrived with no pineapple. The even admitted the pizza maker forgot the pineapple and yet all they would do is basically credit me the cost of the pineapple. I have no car so I used door dash. So basically they suck as customer service. They should have credited the whole pizza. read more

Midnight run to get some pizza because why not! When you're hungry and have the munchies from after hanging out all night, this is a place to be. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because of the line and it was a bit messy. Not behind the kitchen I mean in the dining or walking area. But as I said, it was pretty crazy in there. Pizza Rustica offers handcrafted Pizza Romana or Roman style pizza, a rectangular shaped pizza with various toppings commonly found in the streets of Rome. The pizzeria have a trattoria atmosphere and vibes, as you can smell freshly cooked pizza as you enter the restaurant. Since 1996. Always my favorite pizza place in Miami Beach. According to old time residents, this was also Gianni Versace's favorite pizza place in Miami Beach; his former residence is just a couple blocks away. It's a little over $8 a piece for a large rectangular slice and its so fresh and good. Gluten free and veggie options. Their signature Rustica vegetarian pizza is delicious with artichokes and olives. Today I tried the barbecue chicken pizza which was tangy and flavorful. There is seating outside on the sidewalk or inside, with great Spanish music playing. They also make great salads and chicken tenders. read more

This little corner pizza shop was within walking distance of our hotel, right off Miami Beach. It's a touristy area and we were starving, so popped in for a few to-go slices. We were blown away by how impressive the team here was! The owner went way out of her way to customize our pizza to our liking (I went with a gluten-free crust so got a personal pizza) and my husband chose a few margherita slices. While her team was putting our order together, she came out from behind the counter to pull out two stools for us in the part of the store that "gets the best AC" because she could tell we were warm. So kind! The pizzas were delicious and we brought them back to share with our friends. They were super fresh (we were watching them make them) and I specifically loved the mozarella. The GF crust was amazing too. No weird texture here. I love supporting business owners that care this much and make this good of food (for a great price too)! read more

It's located in a prime corner off of Washington. They have seating outside (and a couple seats along the window inside) and if you show up late, you'll likely find a line almost out the door. I've been going to Pizza Rustica since they opened. I don't live in Miami Beach any longer, but our recent August, 2024, trip included a visit to one of my favorite pizza places. It didn't disappoint. We stopped for lunch and ordered a "slice" each. Their slices are rectangular and are HUGE. I had a spicy sausage and my wife had an arugula that was piled high with leaves and a light balsamic drizzle. This place was only a couple minutes from our hotel so was convenient to stop by. The server Andrea was amazing -- she made sure our party of 7 knew everything about the menu and routinely checked in on us. We ended up getting a custom party pizza, which was excellent. Pizza Rustica has really gone down hill. I remember when it used to be much better quality a few years ago. I think this might be the only location left in Miami Beach, as the Lincoln road one is closed. I usually order the cheese slice or the veggie slice. My most recent visit, I ordered the veggie slice around mid-day. The veggies were all hard, as if they had been out all day. The quality of the dough/crust and cheese was better before. A better taste as well. Now it's comparable to a frozen pizza. Lacking taste and quality in ingredients. Staff is still pretty much and the locale is fine. Not run down. I was SHOCKED at the portion sizes here and how low the price is for a lunch special. You're only a few blocks from Ocean Drive and South Beach, and the outside seating is right on the corner for you to people watch. For $10 and tip, you get a fairly large portion of pizza, drink, and a salad. I couldn't finish my meal, it was a lot of food. They also have a beer special - buy one get one free. Again, this was a lunch special so it might only be during the week. We did have to ask our waiter though, it wasn't immediately offered. Can't beat this place, and more money in your pocket for dinner. Comparably, other places are way more expensive. One other thing - we were a group of 9. They were more than accommodating and put a few tables together for us outside. 10/10 service. read more

While in Miami my friend took me to this place to eat. My flight from Oklahoma got in late and that goodness he stays 2 blocks from the strip with plenty of restaurants and shops that are open late... Especially on a Wednesday. This place is tiny and busy but everything looked sooo good. I had a hard time trying to decide what to eat. It did take a while for our order but we had a whole custom pizza. They were the thinnest I ever saw that were crispy and chewy at the same time. As late as it was, it was close to 9 pm yet they were fresh. We decided to stop the next day for more. So updating with our second visit. We tried steak, and deluxe, in addition to the Margherite and the pepperoni. Steaks pieces were large, tasty and flavorful. I saw they won numerous awards from Zagat and Frommers. Well deserved recognition. I agree they're some of the best I've ever had. read more

Listen I think I would've knocked down a few stars if I got any pizza from the display case because it did not look particularly appetizing but alas we did not. We got a whole pie (8 large slices) for $24 made to order. The wait was about 20 minutes for a whole pie on a Tuesday evening. Maybe I was super hungry but the pizza was delicious. I prefer this location over their Lincoln Road place, prob because it's open almost all day long -- it's great for a late-night, or very early morning bite, and even though it is in South Beach the prices are relatively cheaper. My fave deal is their combo which includes a pizza square, side salad (Caesar or mixed greens) and a canned beverage for like $10. You can sit inside on bar stools, take away, or sit outside under patio umbrellas and people-watch along Washington Ave. The pizza squares are served Roman style and are pretty huge and are reheated to order. You can also opt to buy an entire pie. They also deliver within range, so that is an added plus for Miami Beach. Individually, the pizza squares are roughly $7 - $8 depending on the specialty you choose. They also sell the traditional pizza accompaniments such as garlic knots, wings & fries, paninis, salads, and gluten free pizza. read more
